“Saina Corp?” brina's forehead shriveled.

“Maybe that's the reason Mr. Director asked you to accompany him on that project.” Said Mr. Herman. Brina just nodded, not responding. “I don't know what you should do, you can directly ask the Director.”

“Iya. Fine, Mr.”

Mr. Herman nodded then moved to leave Brina's room. Brina stood up and escorted Mr. Herman out of his room. But when he was about to close the door, Mr. Herman instead held him back and looked at Brina in surprise.

“You what are you?” ask Mr. Herman.

“I want to continue working again, sir.” Brina answered a little confused.

“You didn't hear what I said earlier?” brina's face was getting confused. “You can directly ask the Director. Now you are told to face the Director. Now quickly go to his room.” Mr. Herman replied and immediately looked up, going to his room without waiting for Brina's answer.

Brina's narrowed gaze looked at Mr. Herman's back which was getting away. Mr. Herman's words are always ambiguous and make him not understand the direction of his words. Brina sighed then left her room to go to Evan Wilde's room.

A strong breath came out of his mouth. His eyes turned right to left, observing the entire Director's room. It had been over fifteen minutes, Brina was waiting for Evan Wilde in the Director's room. Her superior was not there when Brina came to her. He was just told to wait by the Director's secretary.

Brina then chose to pull out her phone and read again the incoming message from Salsa. Her brother had sent her many incoming messages since morning asking about her dispute with Lawyer Sinaga.

Brina didn't tell her family at all about the problem. Especially since work, he chose to get out of the house and rent an apartment to live alone. For that he did not tell much about the problem, especially to Salsa, who would be very worried about him. Even when Brina was suspended for two weeks, her family no one knew.

The large door of teak wood that became the entrance of the Director's room opened. Brina, who had just finished replying to her brother's worried message, immediately closed her phone and turned her eyes towards the entrance.

The Director of Wilde Construction Company, appeared authoritatively. Brina who was already in a standing position, immediately remembered the last words Evan said. Until now he had not understood the intent of Evan saying that to him.

Brina cleared her throat for a while before letting out her voice. "Before.I asked what I meant.. You call me, I want to talk about my mediation with Lawyer Sinaga yesterday the day after tomorrow, sir." Brina said.

"Is there a problem?" ask Evan.

"All the problems and claims filed by Lawyer Sinaga have been revoked and he has forgiven all my behavior" he replied. Brina quietly scrutinized Evan's expression which was just silent, displaying his cold face. "Emm. I had a chance to talk to Mr. Randi. He said that I should thank you directly for helping me fight Lawyer Sinaga and for making him withdraw his lawsuit."

"Together?" Evan pulled the small corner of his lips and Brina saw it as her usual haughty smile. Brina hates to see it.

Brina chuckles. "Before I thank you, I want to ask you something." Evan now puts on his serious face. "What offer did you make to Lawyer Sinaga to retract the lawsuit?"

Evan's forehead creased deeply. "What do you mean by this question, Miss Sabrina? Are you accusing me of bribing Lawyer Sinaga?" ask Evan.

Brina laughed nervously slowly. "Actually that's not what I mean. I just want to ask how did you seduce Lawyer Sinaga to get him to drop his lawsuit? I heard that Julius Sinaga is famous for his stubbornness and he is not easy to reconcile with." Brina sighed for a moment then looked at Evan right at his brown iris. "So, obviously how do you persuade Julius to drop his lawsuit?"

"Why are you suddenly curious, Sabrina?"

Brina rolled her eyes lazily. He actually did not want to argue, but this annoying guy whose boss was unlucky, instead laughed and made Brina upset. He just wanted an answer to his curiosity.

Even if the answer Evan gave was as she expected, Brina hoped it would never happen. He doesn't like it when someone does something to help him or to help him. Brina's forehead puckered as she did not like it when she heard it. "What do you mean husband?! Wasn't it then that I had clearly said that I didn't want this matchmaking to continue?!" brina said with annoyance.

Instead of being offended, Evan instead smiled and snorted amusedly. "really? But I already told my father that I wanted this match to continue. I'm sure you've heard it from my father."

"You..."

"I know you met my father at my welcoming party." Evan smiled broadly as he looked at Brina's surprised face.

Brina bit her lower lip in annoyance. Evan found out about his encounter with Ivan Wilde that night. The meeting made Brina feel worried especially the next day, her father immediately contacted her to discuss her match with Evan.

Evan moved from his position and approached Brina. The man observed Brina's expression looking annoyed. "Our parents have already discussed the event for the meeting of our two families and it looks like they don't want to delay this matchmaking any longer."

Brina immediately stood before Evan and gave him a sharp look. "I've clearly said that I want this matchmaking to be annulled. What do you really want, Evan?! We don't even like each other!"

"No, but..." Evan pauses his words as his eyes explore Brina's body from top to bottom. Her lips grinned and then brought her body closer to Brina. "We've slept together and you're not that bad to be my wife." whispered Evan in a teasing tone to Brina's ears.

Brina's face immediately flushed red and pushed Evan's chest hard and made the man take a step back while chuckling softly. "Damn it! You want me to kick it, huh?!" brina Ancam.

"In addition, this matchmaking as a form of accountability because you have used my body and kit-" Brina immediately stuffed Evan's mouth while glancing at the door, afraid if Evan's secretary or anyone outside Evan's room hears him.

"Shut your mouth!!" hiss Brina while staring intently at Evan.

Without Brina knowing, Evan instead smiled behind Brina's palm that covered her mouth. Furthermore, Evan deliberately wrapped his hands around Brina's waist and pulled Brina's body to make it more attached to her body.

Brina who felt that immediately lowered her hand and tried to release Evan's hand on her waist. "Gov! What are you doing this?!" Brina glanced continuously towards the door and Evan took turns. He was worried that someone would catch him hugging. Moreover, Evan is his superior.

"Just calm. This room is soundproof so no one will hear us" Evan said

On the other hand, Brina instead looked at Evan anxiously and frantically. "What if someone else comes in?!" He still rebelled and tried to release Evan's burly hand on his waist. "Gov! Unhand me!"

Regardless of Brina, Evan even further tightened his embrace and lowered his face to be as close as possible to Brina's face. It made Brina gasp until she stopped rebelling.

"You don't need to know how I got Julius to drop his lawsuit" Evan said.

Brina took a slow breath. With Evan being this close, it clearly made Brina flutter. Evan's handsome face was clearly plastered in front of his face so close. He was even lulled with the scent of musk emanating from Evan's body.

"I like you" Evan and Brina replied instantly shaking their heads. "You don't believe it?"

"You've done something wrong again, dear Sabrina" said Evan, then grinned. Her brown iris stared intently at Brina. "I've never said this but let me tell you now, don't hurt a man's self-esteem. You'll know the consequences."

"Hm. Just try it."

Brina grinned, just for a moment because after that her grin disappeared when a chewy object touched her lips. His body stiffened and his breath was instantly congested. Both of Brina's eyeballs widened, startled, along with Evan's lips that gently swept Brina's lips.

Brina immediately regretted her actions.
