New Boss

Today is the first day to welcome the new director of Wilde Construction Company and Brina as the Deputy Project Manager, late on this important day. Brina's gonna get in trouble. Moreover, Mr. Herman, Project Manager of the Residential Construction Division, will definitely lecture him all day because it comes too late.

Brina took a deep breath as soon as the elevator that carried her, arriving on the seventh floor. His breathing was still wheezing as he walked towards his study. In the next instant, he immediately lowered his head as Mr. Herman was with several men right in front of the Manager's room and Brina's room was right next to him.

Brina immediately lowered her body and hid behind a dividing room between employee desks. He raised his head, peeked slightly and saw the radiant face of Mr. Herman chatting familiarly with the four men.

To the left of Mr. Herman were two old men wearing full suits. Brina recognized them from the company's Audit Team. While the other two people were to the left of Mr. Herman, Brina did not see him because it was blocked by the wall so she could not see the other two men.

His view shifted to pay attention to all employees. They just stay quiet and focus on working. His forehead shriveled deeply, wondering why they looked relaxed? Is the introduction of the new Director done?

“Mbak Brina!” exclaimed someone who made Brina turn to one of the officers, Farah. Brina immediately put an index finger on her lips, gesturing her not to make a sound. “My car broke down.” Brina said for a reason. “I hide first in the toilet.” Brina said after that immediately passed to the toilet. He can't keep quiet here.

Brina settles into the toilet but Mr. Herman's voice calls to her, making Brina stop immediately.

"Miss Sabrina."

She's busted. His lips exhaled a rough breath while grumbling inwardly. How did Mr. Herman know he was here?

Brina put on a fake smile then turned around. All the eyes on this floor were on him. Including the four men who were with Mr. Herman. His gaze instantly focused on a young and handsome man with a misty hairstyle. He wondered, was the man his new Director, the son of CEO Ivan Wilde?

"Sabrina!" sir Herman exclaimed again to make Brina out of her daydream.

"L-yes, sir." said Brina then rushed over to Mr. Herman.

"Include me, this is Sabrina, Deputy Manager here." Herman introduced Brina to the four men. Brina dived at them awkwardly. "You probably already know Mr. Andre and Mr. Rizal, the Audit Team, and this is Mr. Jeremy and Mr. Andrew, Wilde Corp board members."

Brina cheers them all. After that, Mr. Andre and Mr. Rizal from the Audit Team left after a long chat earlier. Then Mr. Herman left Brina with two other men.

"Directions? So there's no new director?" Brina muttered in her heart astonished.

Because the company has announced since one month ago that today there will be a new Director who replaces Mr. Fisherman was succeeded by CEO Ivan Wilde's son, Evan Wilde. However it seemed, the new Director was not present today.

"I've heard a lot about you, Ms. Davinian." Said Andrew, a young man with hair drizzle who Brina thought he was the son of Evan Wilde.

"Call me Sabrina, Mr. Andrew." Brina Sahut.

"You're an amazing woman. I am amazed to Mr. Sandi who raised this beautiful daughter well." Jeremy chimed in. The man who was older than Andrew smiled in admiration at Brina.

"You're flattering me too much."

"My father really admires you, Sabrina." Andrew smiled widely and looked at Brina intensely. So, Andrew is the son of Mr. Jeremy. "You can also call me Andrew." Further.

Brina stunned. Andrew's gaze on her looked different from when they first met. I don't know what Andrew's look means to her. That makes him a little uncomfortable.

"Oh, yeah. You are also very brave against Julius Sinaga's Lawyer. I don't know that behind your feminine appearance, you've got a hard and brave nature." Brina just fell silent at Andrew's words. Either the man praised her or mocked her. Andrew was laughing.

Andrew is quite an expert in the field of construction.”

Brina looked at Andrew who from earlier the man's gaze could not be separated from her. He just put on a smile in return.

“Then we excuse yourself, Sabrina.” Jeremy then leaves and leaves Brina with Andrew.

Andrew smiled widely and asked to shake hands with Brina. “I'm glad to be working with you, Sabrina. Then I'm sorry. See you soon, Sabrina.”

Brina did not answer just silently gave a thin smile while greeting Andrew. After that Andrew passed away leaving Brina feeling uneasy because of the man's gaze.

There are many luxury cars of various types and classes of cars of various colors, alternating entering the hotel area. While in the outer area of the hotel, some vans that read local television stations, parked neatly along the side of the road.

The welcoming of the new Director of Wilde Construction Company was held in luxury. Invitational guests who were mostly from among businessmen, officials, and so on filled the Ballroom. Not to forget also all Wilde Corp employees who have important positions were present at the event tonight.

Including Brina, who holds a position as Deputy Manager of Residential Construction Division. As a joint representative of Mr. Herman, Brina must be present to welcome the new Director of Wilde Construction Company, who will be his highest superior in the company where he works.

This welcoming party was made suddenly because the welcoming of the new Director would only be held in the company building. But it seems, a big welcome must be made to the new Director. The new director is the son of CEO Wilde Corp.

“You are a bitch. Not only do I care, but almost all female employees talk about the handsome Evan Wilde.” Diana then pulled out her phone. “Let me show you how handsome our new Director is.”

Nonchalantly, Brina let Diana show a photo of Evan Wilde. Diana had not had time to open the gallery app on her phone, the rumbling sound of applause distracting the two. The two of them immediately stood up as they saw the invited guests standing up and applauding festively. All eyes were on the wide open entrance.

"It looks like soon our new Director will be here." Whisper Diana infused.

The camera light started to light up with glare. The reporters were busy pointing their cameras at the door and taking as many pictures as possible. Looks like the figure of the new Director of Wilde Construction Company, Evan Wilde, has arrived here. His arrival was met with increasingly loud applause.

Before long, Evan Wilde appears to enter the Ballroom of the Hotel and begins to walk along the red carpet. Brina focused her eyes on her new boss, but the flash from the camera made it difficult for her to see Evan Wilde's face clearly.
