Chapter 14: A Little Genesis

"Is this real?" ask Kei slowly.

(Masters... Do you like money that way?) respond Yuki.

"It would be a lie if I answered no, because after all, we will always need money. There's a saying that money can't buy everything, but everything obviously needs money." Kei replied with a smile.

(Hooo) Yuki slightly muttered hearing that. Even so, he must have known that through Kei's mind.

"Then, take out all these items. I want to see it in person and try a few things. But of course, items that cannot be taken out are unnecessary" Kei said giving the order.

After that sound, the screen in front of Kei changed, and it moved itself to do some interaction with the goods that were still in the inventory.

With a low bell sound, the thing came out and neatly arranged, lined up on the floor in front of Kei right now.

"That's amazing!" said Kei slowly while looking amazed.

He got up, and approached to one of the items. "This what?" ask when you get in front of the item.

(It's a protective suit, Master. It was in the can when you completed a secret Quest which Master had to destroy one of the public facilities.) Yuki replied.

Kei seemed to remember, but it didn't seem like a good thing to remember that.

"Shirt? What is his superiority? Why did I get a gift of clothes?" ask Kei wonder.

(If I say this shirt, it is actually more suitable to be called a set of clothes that are shaped like a suit, Master. It has a good material, and will never get dirty, and there is a temperature adjustment feature in it. Wearing it will be very comfortable.) Yuki explained.

"wait. Why do you look like a salesman offering things to passers-by?" kei asked in response to Yuki's explanation.

There was no answer, so Kei thought Yuki ignored him.

He looked at the clothes for a moment, and checked them out. A moment later, he took a breath.

He then put on the clothes, with a few minor adjustments, that really suited him. Somehow, the size can be precise and fit right into every corner of his body.

(There are a few additions to the outfit, such as added movement speed, strength, durability, and a few other things. That said, the Master can even destroy the wall once at a time when using these clothes.) explained Yuki.

"Really? That sounds a little strange, but if you say that, then it must be true" Kei said slightly brickly.

"By the way, how is my strength without wearing these clothes?" ask Kei.

Kei nodded happily hearing that, then moved on to the next prize.

He touched it a little, until finally the little box turned into a bundle of Katana, a book, and there were also some scrolls.

"It's a little surprising to see this little box turn into so many objects. But I remember this is something like a game, so anything can happen." whispered Kei. "Where is this gift from, Yuki?" continued.

(It was a reward because the Master had completed the selection to become a Player. The contents correspond to the person that Master defeated.) Yuki replied.

Kei moves to take Katana. But he realized, this Katana is similar to the crossdress' male Katana, but there are a few additions that make it a little better. Either way, this is the prize, then there should be some different additions in the sharpness part.

"It's very nice and sharp. But this won't be useful because I can't use the Katana, so maybe I'll keep it as a display" Kei said rather heavily.

(Maybe the Master has to open one of those scrolls.) Yuki replied hearing the word his Master said.

"Which one? Right or left?"

Kei opened the scroll, and instantly the scroll glowed, and exploded leaving behind dust that made Kei cough cough.

"Yuki!! What does this mean?!! Are you going to kill me?!! I can sa-" Kei's sentence stopped.

Suddenly, inside his mind flowed thousands of images that one by one entered his head. Many images, such as someone being struck using a bamboo sword in the rain, and having to swing his sword continuously.

The feeling of cold, aches, fatigue, sharp gazes, and aches throughout his muscles became one, in every image available.

"Aghghh!!!" Kei shouted, holding his head which was in excruciating pain because of the image that kept coming in. Kei was lying on the beach, and rolling on the roll felt excruciating pain.

He began to feel that opening the scroll earlier was the wrong thing, because even he could not feel his body anymore now, because of the thousands, or even millions of pains that were sweeping his body.

"Yu-uukii.." - Kei groaned softly before he closed his eyes, fainting.

"Bwahhh!!!!" Kei woke up while jumping, surprised. She uncovers the blanket she is wearing, and immediately sits down to watch the surroundings.

The pain he felt yesterday was gone. Even he himself did not find any trace of that feeling. But all that pain only gave Kei goosebumps when he remembered it.

Then he remembered, who gave the suggestion to unroll it, Yuki. At least, he wanted Yuki to give him a warning if there would be pain, so at least Kei could mentally prepare him.

"Yuki! Yuki!! Where're you?!! Don't you have any feelings of guilt? Where's explanation?! I thought I was going to die yesterday!" kei said half-screaming.

(Don't be noisy, Master. Look to your right.) with that, Kei complied and turned his head.

"Y-Yuna's? Why is he sleeping here?" a little stammered, Kei played his voice. But after that, he sighed, calming down.

"Alright, Yuki. Explain everything." now Kei whispered as it prevented his voice from causing Yuna to wake up. Wh why? Because he glanced towards the window, and it was still dark.

(So Master.).

Yuki also explains everything that happened after Kei fainted, including what happened after that, and why Yuna was inside Kei's room.

"So you said I fainted from unrolling it, and then when Yuna was about to call me out for dinner, she found me lying unconscious here?"

"And since you put all the gear into the inventory that's why I'm now wearing nothing but these shorts?" asked Kei in an increasingly raised tone.

"Then because Yuna was waiting for me here, she fell asleep here?" continue Kei.

There was no answer from Yuki, and Kei assumed it was a yes answer.

"Huff. I don't have anything to say to you, Yuki. The one thing I love is why didn't you tell me about the effect of unrolling it? Even though I knew the contents of the scroll were a good thing for me" Kei said.

There's no answer.

Kei sighed a little, then stood up to move Yuna who was sitting down and asleep down onto the mattress, then prepared to exercise.

(L-An.) Yuki started talking.

"Why?"

(I'm sorry.)

"What about?"

(On last night.) Yuki said softly. Kei just kept quiet, waiting rich Yuki said next.

(Last night, I didn't expect it to be like that. I'm also new to this, so I didn't know that the scroll was going to explode.).

Yuki sounded regretful, and Kei just silently heard that. Kei finds it interesting when Yuki changes her tone and how she changes the way she calls herself.

Yuki often uses the words "me" and "Master" when calling herself and Kei. He also often uses some mechanical tones in his speech.

But Kei knows, it's not really like that.

There were moments when he spoke normally, and the intonation sounded childish. Sometimes he also referred to himself as "me" and called Kei by his name.

"Yuki..."

"It turns out a system like you can also make mistakes, huh? That's fascinating! And hearing you call me Kei is funny, especially your sorry voice. You're really interesting, Yuki!" kei said half laughing.

Kei slightly laughed and smiled wryly when he heard the arrogant tone that Yuki used to use.

(Therefore, Master... Kei, Thank you!!) said Yuki. Kei was a little surprised to hear that, but he just sighed, happy to hear his partner was back as usual.
