System: The Death Game!
Chapter 1: The Oddity

"WHOA!! I'M DEAD!!!" Kei shouted loudly.

But, he realized when he looked around.

The surroundings had already changed, no longer the contents of the chaotic bus. But the place where he'll ride the bus! And he's now looking at his smartphone, which shows at 17:13.

Meanwhile, everyone looked at him strangely. That way, Kei felt a little embarrassed at the thought that he was shouting in the streets. However, Kei is still confused as to what happened.

"Has that all just been a dream?" whispered Kei slowly. But, there was a siren that sounded from a distance. A fire truck and several ambulances, which were like racing, headed in the same direction.

Everyone who was waiting at the stop talked about the same thing, about what happened and where the fire truck and ambulance were headed.

But Kei didn't think much of it, and just looked at his smartphone sending a notification.

It was a message from his girlfriend.

"What's? Myan can't leave today because he's away with his family? Ahh, this is really not true" Kei said softly while looking down miserably. Even so, he was still thinking about the incident earlier.

Was it a dream, or a reality?

Kei was now on the sofa in front of the television, lying face down with his hands stretched down.

After that, he felt dizzy. And he was rather grateful that the appointment with his girlfriend was cancelled. Even so, there was still a sense of sadness in his heart.

"Sister, can you get out of front of the television? You're not usually here, are you? Go back to your habitat in front of the computer, you stupid Otaku!" said a woman while carrying an orange-colored glass.

Kei slightly turned his head, looked at his sister who was carrying orange juice while taking the remote, and sat on it.

"Hey hey hey!! Don't sit on me! I'm lying here for a while, so don't torture me!!" shout Kei.

His sister stood up again, looking at Kei with a sharp look.

Kei shuffled his position into sitting, facing the television. While his sister sat next to him and put the juice on the table, while grabbing the existing snacks.

"Why is my sister still here? Isn't it that big brother is going to go with that Myan? Though I told you she's not a good woman." continued her sister.

"Wahai brother. Do you want to add to this wound in your brother's heart?" kei replied while having a little drama.

His sister did not budge, and simply changed the television channel to a news channel. On that channel, there was a news that surprised Kei. Immediately, Kei shouted at Yuna.

"Hey hey Yuna! Can you give me the remote!!" Kei snorted at the news, and snatched the remote from his sister's hand.

He was raising the volume of television, until the news was heard clearly. It discusses a bus accident for which there is no known cause. And in the news, all the passengers on the bus died.

After seeing all that, Kei sat down.

"What's up, brother? You're so weird! And what's with the news? Do you know anything?" yuna said, little sister Kei while slightly hitting her brother.

("What is this?! Wasn't that the bus I was riding on this afternoon? And the passengers, I still remember who moved yesterday! Whatisthis? Is this real?!") Kei looks less healthy with sweat pouring out now.

"But it was a terrible accident. And it's happening in our city, making it even more terrifying!" yuna said while eating her potato chips.

She realized that her brother was not responding to her as usual, and turned his head. She found her brother who was behaving strangely like someone who was frightened. His legs were trembling, his face was also paled after seeing the news.

"What's up, brother?" ask Yuna slowly.

But still, there was no answer from Kei who was trying to digest all the events that happened.

"Hey! Don't ignore me!" yuna shouted while slightly slapping Kei. Kei remained silent, but while fingering his cheeks which were now slightly reddened.

"Yuna...." Kei started whispering.

"W-what?" Yuna began to jump and keep her distance from the horse, perhaps Kei would return the slap.

"I-I was in that bus at that moment" Kei said slowly.

Silence happened. Yuna could only stare at Kei confusedly, while Kei himself faced down, with a depressed expression with his body still trembling.

"Huhh?!! What mean?!! How could you possibly be on that bus?" Yuna ruffled her waist, in disbelief.

But, Kei immediately remembered something.

Shortly before he lost consciousness. A moment before his eyes darkened.

Shortly before he returned to look at the clock on the smartphone showing 17:13.

"Ah... Ii'm sorry. I was too tired to talk like that. I seem to need some rest" Kei said softly as he slightly smiled, and also hid his face from Yuna.

Kei walked slowly, also slightly staggering to go upstairs, where his room was.

("He's weird. Looking at her eyes and her expression, I can't say that she's lying. But he said the impossible. Did something happen to my sister?") yuna thought while looking at the back of her brother who was walking up the stairs.

"Hahhhh!! What am I thinking!!!" Kei slammed himself into the mattress, then buried his face into the pillow.

All those memories really bothered Kei, and he himself did not know what he should do now. Does he have to call the police? But would they believe him if he said he was on that bus?

That's what Kei thinks now.

Tong Ting!!

His phone rang when Kei thought of it all. That surprised Kei a little, but Kei immediately took his cell phone at the study table.

"Humm? Whatisthis? A feasibility test for the system?" ask Kei when reading the notification on his mobile phone.

"Ahh, at most just a notification about a new novel. Is it a new novel? I'm lazy now, so I'll check later." Kei said as he threw his phone back into the bed.

[Do you want to postpone the Eligibility Test of Getting a System? (Yes) / (No)]

Suddenly a panel appeared in front of Kei's eyes, which made him scream while closing his eyes. It clearly made Yuna who was at the bottom surprised by her brother's scream.

"W-What?! Whatisthis? What's the question panel, this?!! So this is all real?!!" kei asked half-shouting.

His brain immediately chose "No" for the question just now. But instead of being lost, such panels are coming up again, with even heavier questions.

[All data relating to the System will be deleted if it refuses. Includes data about individuals. Continue refusing? (Yes) / (No)]

That question immediately made Kei shudder.

Recalling all the events earlier this afternoon, and a few other things frightened Kei, seeing the word "deleted".

That way, he canceled to refuse, and the first sentence, which asked if Kei would take the Eligibility Test again appeared. Kei could only take a deep breath with it.

"It looks like this is something to be done. Alright. I'm gonna do it! If there's one thing I'm sorry about, is why I'm still a virgin!!" kei said sure.

After Kei said an indecent thing out loud, Kei pressed down on the (Yes) part, making the panel disappear. Kei breathed quietly for a moment, before he felt his body distorted.

"Tu-wait! What'sthis?!! What the hell happened to me?! Whahuh? What's?! Whataa?!!" Kei panicked to feel his body shaking violently. He felt his hand begin to suck into a hole, and it over time ate his body.

He could only scream, before a moment later he disappeared along with his cell phone.

"Sister! Don't be sober" the disturbed Yuna broke into Kei's room, but only to find her empty room.

"Squeaky. It was obvious I heard her voice" Yuna said softly before closing Kei's room door again.
