Chapter 3: The Game!

"Huff. It's really exhausting. To be able to go up this high, I really need a lot of energy. Alright it seems.." Kei had not finished speaking, his body was already unable to move.

He had just climbed onto the top of the building, but suddenly a black-and-white world was back around him, and on his face was plastered this map of the city.

Kei grunted softly looking at that. He was very confident, he was the first to climb onto the top of this building, so there could be no one upstairs.

After a minute, the time went back to normal. Kei immediately picked up the ball monster he had tied up from below, and walked closer to the edge, peering down.

While doing so, he looked again before her.

The city was destroyed, and there was no sign of life. There were only monsters wandering around, not even animal animals existed. From here he could look around the city.

"It's really another world, isn't it?" ask Kei.

Sounds like iron clashing. Kei immediately hid himself, and inched to the edge of the building.

"They're fighting? And again, how did they get the sword?" muttered Kei while observing their fight.

The voice shocked Kei, and made him hide himself.

"That's... That's a gun, isn't it?" kei asked slightly trembling.

One of them carried a gun that he had been hiding, but had been clashing with a knife and a sword. It seemed like that was indeed his plan, as he smiled in satisfaction after firing the gun earlier.

"I won't be able to win with that!!!" Kei goosebumps while slightly squeezing the ball monster in his hand.

But he had a strange idea.

"Humm, if he's off guard I can throw this, right?" asked Kei while smiling wickedly.

"Ups! I turned into a Villain!!" Kei half jokingly raised his hand and slightly laughed. He took the monster ball. The monster thrashed a little when it was lifted up, but since the monster was weak, it couldn't do anything.

Kei slightly measured the distance, as the gun carrier approached the other one. He seemed to be saying something, because the person he shot just now was dying.

"OII MORON!!!!" Kei shouted, as the gunman acted to finish off his enemy.

The two men looked up, trying to find the source of the sound. They saw Kei who was waving his hands with a confused face.

"I'M SENDING YOU A SANTA GIFT!! DON'T FORGET TO THANK YOU!!" kei shouted before throwing 3 ball monsters consecutively.

The two people below were confused, and staring at the monster fell down.

Knowing that he's thrown an object, the gun holder just avoids where the monster falls, without knowing that-

Explosions happen. It was large enough to make the ground shake. Kei was a little worried whether this building could survive.

"Huff. I haven't received any thanks from her, but she's gone" Kei said, slightly confirming her hair, in style.

"But thinking about it once again sounds terrible, so it's better not to." he continued when he saw the hollowed-out ground, even the rest of the clothes from them were no longer visible.

Again another announcement echoed in Kei's head.

Then, a pistol and a long sword appeared which the two men had brought just now. It appeared to arrive, like a teleport carrying it there.

After everything that happened, Kei had already gotten used to it and was no longer surprised.

His hand took the gun slowly, and grasped it firmly.

"No. I don't want to get used to this. Did I just kill people easily? That's insane! There must be something weird about me!!" said Kei while shaking holding the gun in his hand.

Kei recalled the incident earlier, when he blew up the two of them. The more she remembered it, the more uncomfortable she felt.

"It's horrible. I have to kill someone else. And I've killed two people without even thinking about anything." Kei grimacing. His heart was actually sick, hearing that he had already killed people.

"This is the Death Game. I'll live. Nah! I have to live! At least until I can feel the tenderness of a woman!!" kei said sure.

It might be a bit foolish to hear what excites him, but it's true.

Kei put the gun around his waist, tucked it between his drawstring pants. How else, he was teleported here only carrying a cellphone with color pants and makeshift clothes.

The phone is still in his pocket and he is lucky.

Again the announcement happened. Kei looked up a little, and found out there was something on the left. It was a small map that described the state of the city.

"It's similar to a game. But shit. If my position is known, I can't strike silently" Kei said softly.

He decided to keep quiet, and looked at the entire city. He also looked at the map occasionally. And sure enough, he saw the movement at the marked point on the map.

DORR!!

Now his voice is louder than ever. It echoed throughout the city, slightly making the building tremble.

A second later, there was a huge explosion at the place Kei had just been watching.

Kei was surprised, and looked to the side.

("He's in the building next to me?!! But more importantly, does it work?! It would be easy if it worked, but~") Inner Kei while watching over the place that was now a gathering place of dust.

He thought that the attack must have killed the enemy, but...

("The orange dot is still there?!") kei asked half in disbelief.

Kei slightly took a look at the building next to him, and found the person who shot just now. He carried a weapon like a sniper, and was still observing the place he shot from.

He was a little incredulous looking at it, but he tried to shoot again.

Kei actually benefited from the person focusing on shooting a distant enemy. But he thought, that the person below should be defeated first. He even survived the first shot!!

Shots fired. But the person below knew that, and pointed the long sword towards the shooter.

And again, a big explosion happened. Kei continued to observe the map, but there was no change at all.

When the dust disappeared, it was seen that the person was still standing firm, without faltering in the slightest. Even the dress shirt that the woman was wearing was not smudged or scratched in the slightest.

"No way!!" kei said slowly.

Likewise with the man who was carrying a sniper weapon there, he immediately rushed to fill his weapon, and shot again, again, again, and again.

One by one, the shots were released. And the sound of gunshots is like music that is mutually understated with the sound of explosions in the targeted place. In addition, the twang of the bullet casings that started to empty also added to the horrible feeling.

But the woman in the dress did not move, and just remained silent as she looked at the shooter man.

Sure, with all the shots that hit something, like an invisible barrier. But, as soon as the shooter refilled his gun, the woman immediately ran, heading down the building.

"Where is he?!" Kei immediately scanned the map, and knew that he had entered the building.

Just like Kei, the man also noticed it. He immediately stood guard on the stairs, waiting for the woman to enter. He also had a gun with him, and pointed while putting a finger on the trigger.

Kei also continued to observe from the next building. Not to forget, the gun in his hand he pointed at the man earlier. He was also on guard to throw a bomb monster at him.

When the atmosphere grew tense because of the silence that struck. Even Kei could hear the sound of his heartbeat getting louder.

The man carrying the gun slowly moved towards the edge silently to outwit the woman from below.

"YARRGGGHHH!!!" a teriat sounded from the man, before he fell to the floor. Under him, there was already a pool of blood flowing from his feet. In other words, his lower leg had already slipped off his knee!!

Kei was surprised, and slightly fell down upon seeing that. He had just realized that there was a bloody sword at the tip of the man's foot.

("That guy, he's terrible! Even I didn't see or feel anything earlier.") Kei's inner voice shouted.

He then realized that if the woman killed the man carrying the firearm, then the man's weapon would belong to the woman. He could not imagine how horrible that woman was.

"If it's like this!!" Kei shouted, and he prepared a ball monster that was in his hands.

He tightly gripped the monster, and threw it with all his might towards the two people who were struggling to fight for their lives.

The woman came to her senses, and quickly split the monster apart. But it was the wrong choice because the monster immediately exploded.

He was surprised, but had good reflexes and jumped to the side quickly, avoiding the explosion.
