15. Baffled

Tessa came to the place where she made her deal with Defan. There, Defan had been waiting inside the private room. With a haughty style, crossing his legs. Defan stared at Tessa sharply.

Unlike Tessa who felt very happy when she saw Defan who looked so charming. In his heart said, "so it's really Defan." He smiled happily.

"Def, sorry for the long wait." Tessa walked over to Defan. He also held Defan's arm. It was as if he was already very familiar to Defan.

However, by reflex Defan's hand was raised. It's a sign for the people around him. He wants his bodyguards to get Tessa out of him. Immediately two of Defan's men pulled Tessa away from Defan.

"You shit? Leasin!" of course Tessa gets upset.

Defan stood up from his seat. He walked slowly closer to Tessa. "You're Tessa Anindya's friend? Anindya Larasati." asked Defan looking at her sharply.

"I.iya." Tessa became scared because of Defan's gaze.

"I warned you, never touch Anindya! But why are you still moping?" asked Defan again with glaring eyes.

"I told you, she's my future wife." Defan added.

"But Anin himself said he rejected you. He said he doesn't like you. And now he's getting the same om-om." Tessa answered and provoked Defan.

"I sprained that time because he said he didn't like you and even rejected you. I sprained because he was arrogant, dared to reject Defan Aleandro. That's why I taught her a lesson." Tessa said nervously. Moreover, both of Defan's men held it very tightly.

While Defan is not easily provoked by the words of Tessa. He roughly clamped both of Tessa's cheeks with one hand. "This is my last warning, if you still dare to provoke or touch Anindya. You'll get more than this!" said Defan.

"It has. They're waiting for you." Rafa replied.

Rafa, Defan, Julian and Reno are swept away in their childhood memories. "Had papa been alive, he would have been so happy to see us grow up the way we are today" Reno said.

"Def, you don't think too much about what mom says! I'm the same Julian loves you." Reno added.

"Oh yeah, Julian said you're married? Why not tell the family?" ask Reno again.

"Why don't you take it with you?"

"We don't have any shows. I take her home sometime." Defan replied casually.

While Reno, Defan and Rafa just laughed a little at Julian's words. "Don't do that! He's your brother-in-law" Reno said.

"Raf, thank you for taking care of Defan" Reno told Rafa.

"Yes Ren. I was always with Defan. After my parents died, he was my only family" Rafa replied.

Arriving at home. Defan is headed to the room. Earlier, she got a report from the head maid of her house if Anin did not come out of the room from earlier this afternoon nor did she have dinner.

Defan immediately rushed to the room. Afraid of anything happening with Anin. Clik. Defan turned on the lights. He saw Anin who was asleep. Soon he approached and sat down next to Anin.

"No fever." he muttered after touching Anin's forehead to check Anin's body temperature.

"Mrs, Anindya!" he said he woke Anin up. He also shook Anin's body.

"Hmmm.. Why the hell?" ask Anin with sewot.

"Why not dinner? You sick?" ask Defan.

"No. I'm sleepy." Anin pulled out her blanket and covered herself with a blanket.

"Follow me!" Defan pulls Anin's hand.

"I'm sleepy. Don't bother me." Anin snapped with her eyes still closed.

Defan finally gave up. He let Anin continue her sleep. Defan is still thinking positively. "Ah maybe she's tired of a lot of tasks" she thought.

"Yes, it's a bobok!" she said so gently.

After finishing the shower. Defan also went to sleep because he was tired of working all day. Although he felt strange with Anin's attitude. But he kept a positive mind.

Next morning.

When Defan opened his eyes. He did not find Anin's whereabouts beside him. He thought maybe Anin was cooking. Just like always.

However, when Defan comes down. He didn't find Anin. Only the maid prepared her breakfast. "Where's the lady?" ask Defan.

"The lady left this morning, sir. He said there was a morning class." replied the maid.

Defan was starting to feel strange. But he still does not want to think negatively. After breakfast, he went to the office. He sent a message to Anin.

"Why leave so early in the morning? Have you had breakfast yet? I asked Rafa anterin for breakfast for you!" inscribed.

But, absolutely not responded by Anin. Not even read. "What time's home? I'll pick you up?" Defan again sent a message to Anin.

But not at all replied by Anin. The phone call was not picked up either. Defan became upset himself. Even during the meeting, he was completely unfocused. He repeatedly ransacked his cell phone with an annoyed face. It makes its employees afraid.

"So you can't work?" ask Defan angrily.

"Why are you Def?" ask Rafa who has never seen Defan like this.

"Why didn't he reply to my message? Where's she? Early in the morning has gone too" said Defan with annoyance.

"Anindia?" Defan nodded his head quickly.

"You're in a fuss?" Defan shook his head.

"Yesterday morning was fine. Why is he like this now?" Defan massaged his temple slowly.

"Try asking Sandra where Anin went!" his orders to Rafa.

"But Sandra from yesterday at her brother's house. I'm not sure they're together."

"Where is he going?" Defan hit the table again in annoyance.

"I'm trying to track him through gps on his phone." Rafa has never seen Defan like this even time with Ana.
