28. That's Life

Defan was relieved to have said everything he wanted to say. All this time, he had to endure everything himself. Now, the burden on his shoulders slowly disappeared.

Defan stopped his car at a place with a large expanse of grass. He invited Anin to come down and enjoy this beautiful night.

Defan put on his suit for Anin. The cold night air pierced to the bone. Although it was cold, the weather was beautiful. Stars are so many. The moon is bright and full.

The coolie sat leaning against each other enjoying the night view that was so amazingly beautiful. "Def, look at the brightest star!" Anin pointed to the brightest star.

"Said grandma, it's my mom and dad" he added.

"Aren't you the same as them?" ask Defan.

"Kangen. But what do I miss? I don't even have any memories of them." Anin smiled a little.

He had never even seen his father and mother. All he knew, he only had a foster grandmother taking care of him.

"You miss your mom and dad?" ask Anin back.

"definitely. But there's you, I'm not so bad about them." Anin smiled again.

"Sweet mouth." Anin nudged Defan using her shoulder.

"Def, you really don't mess up because you've rejected Ana?" Defan looked at Anin while smiling slightly.

"I'll be a lifetime mess if I let you go" Defan said.

"Nin, I love you so much" she said as she gently kissed Anin's forehead.

Anin just smiled. He also hugged Defan tightly. I don't want to ruin her happy moment. Either destiny or what. But they met by accident and both have something in common, which is an admirer of the sky.

Because according to both of them. That's where the people they love are.

A few days after Reno's birthday. Anin and Sandra just met, because Sandra long time not to the campus.

That morning, Sandra ran when she saw Anin sitting alone in the cafeteria. "Anin.." she called out to Anin as she waved her hand. Soon he ran up to Anin.

"I miss you so much" he said, hugging Anin.

"Kirain had forgotten that he had a friend." said Anin.

"Yes not. How could I have forgotten your kayak best friend." she said back hugging Anin.

"As a thank you, I'll treat you." he added.

"Seriously?"

"Yes. Then after class, we'll go to the cafe down the street!"

"Nj*r, pinter is very much you. But, okay." answered Sandra casually.

"Yes, I'm honest. I'm actually from a family of businessmen. I ran away because I was annoyed at being fooled" Sandra said.

"Are you Julian?"

"That's why we're fooled too. I finally want to because let my dad and grandpa stop my soul mate. Thought I didn't do anything with being fooled" Sandra said in annoyance.

"Then I was the same Julian pretended to accept the match. A month later we'll find a way to break up. At least we have fulfilled the wishes of our parents." added Sandra.

"Oh, that. But why don't you be honest that you're actually a rich kid? You want to feel bad for me because I'm just an orphan and poor?"

"No. Nope. It's not Nin, I just want Rasain to have a friend who doesn't see my social status." Sandra looked at Anin deeply. He did not want Anin to misunderstand him.

"I'm glad to have a sincere friend like you. I'm sorry." Sandra hugged Anin again.

"I'm also happy to have a best friend like you." Anin pats Sandra's hand.

They met when they first entered the university. Then close and then friendly because coincidentally ngekos together. But unfortunately, Anin doesn't know who Sandra really is.

For all she knows, Sandra is her best friend who is always there for her. A loyal friend who even accepts all of Anin's possessions. For Anin, that was enough. Because the more we know someone, the more we can potentially become enemies.

"If you're the same Julian, how about Rafa?" ask Anin again. He knew that Sandra had been with Rafa.

"I've made it clear to him everything." answered Sandra.

"Obviously everything? You guys dating?" Sandra shook her head.

"Why use the show to explain everything?" Sandra rounded her eyes at Anin's question.

"You like her? Are you afraid he misunderstood?" guess Anin.

"No. I don't, he'll ask and I'll just answer." Sandra. In fact, he was afraid that Rafa would misunderstand him. That's why he explained everything to Rafa.

"Eh btw, I did not expect that Defan would admit that you are his wife in front of all his relatives. He's gentle too." Sandra began to shift the conversation.

"And that Ana. I swear to be so beautiful. He deliberately cornered Defan so that everyone thought if Defan was evil and you snatched the man. Guess what his intentions are." Sandra was upset when she remembered Ana. Luckily Defan is a smart guy. So he can control everything.

"Biarin anyway. As long as Defan isn't affected, I won't be affected either."

"But I'm sure, that Ana will definitely find a way to provoke your relationship." Sandra guessed what was going to happen. Because most of them are like that.

While Anin only smiled a little. He didn't think too much about it. May Defan be a faithful man. That's his only hope.

"Aren't you scared?"

"No, Defan is the best. He will not be affected by anything, including his past. If he's affected, he's not the best."

"Luckiness and heartache certainly exist. But, what else? God will not take good without replacing it with better." Anin added.
