⸙ Ch.13 ◈ Lin family book
Three people walked together through a hallway full of books, with some candles as street lights. Aisley seemed to have passed through this passageway, yet she had forgotten where she passed through it.
At the end of the passage Niyra moved an old book, the secret door of the bookshelf opened. They go inside at the same time. In a room brighter than the hallway, a short brown-haired man was sitting reading a book.
He was not at all surprised by the three of them. Aisley saw the man, ugh he is Ryuu's brother? That was how he thought, but he was not at all surprised because of the story below with Niyra and the two times the same incident.
"Nobody heard that, right?" Ask Niyra.
They walked over to the brown-haired man. Looking up at Niyra, Ryuuchi nodded slowly. Putting down her book, standing up and sitting on the sofa, Niyra, Niko and Aisley followed Ryuuchi.
"So you're Aisley?" Ryuuchi watched Aisley.
"I...Yeah.." The answer is half a smile.
"What do you think?" Niko Chirps.
"Ah might have something to do with it....But what if we try to get him to read a book from this world?" Ryuuchi tried to ascertain his assumption.
"Ah well..." Niko breathed slowly.
"Aisley, what do you think?" Niko glanced at Aisley.
"I don't mind who knows who's coming back, right?" Aisley smiled.
"All right, come..." Ryuuchi stood up from his seat.
Niyra, Niko and Aisley also stood up. Niko and Ryuuchi walked side by side while Niyra and Aisley followed the men in front of them.
Walking through the bookshelves was the same as when I was about to meet Ryuuchi. But the path they passed by was brighter due to the presence of magic stones stuck along the bookshelves. Stairs made of stone at the right and left heights also shine add to the lighting and beauty of the hallway.
They went down for a long time but somehow Aisley did not feel tired at all. Maybe because of the books along the bookshelf or new special magic that can treat fatigue.... Aisley did not know for sure Aisley was not tired.
Arriving at a fairly large door, the door is made of wood carved nicely, making the door look ancient and mysterious. Aisley was amazed by the door in front of him which was not only a slick carving, but the aura that felt was also very strange but harmless.
Opening the door, Ryuuchi entered first followed by Niko then Aisley and Niyra as the last person. Walking into an object shaped like a round table, it turns out this room is not large just a minimalist room the size of a living room. Inside the round table was a book that looked ancient and antique.
The dustless book was like floating on an object that was like a round table. Ryuuchi put his hand into the ancient book. Put it on top, oh it turns out it's floating!
"Come here." Ryuuchi called Aisley.
Aisley walked up to Ryuuchi, looking at the floating book that was in front. The book was exactly as Ryuu's brother had shown him, only the book on Ryuu's brother was not floating as it is now. Ryuuchi handed the book to Aisley for reading, Aisley nodded in understanding.
Opening the old book cover, Aisley looked at the book that looked empty. Looking at the people in front of him, his gaze contained confusion. Niko approached, she looked at the empty book.
"Try your blood..." Aisley immediately nodded, she bit her finger until her blood came out.
With a slight grimace as he had never done that before, the blood that came out from the bite wound was dripped on the book cover. A golden-white light emanated from the book in front of him. After the light disappeared, Aisley reopened the book.
His eyes widened shocked at the contents of the book, while Niko who saw the writing frowned because she did not understand the writing in front of her. Ryuuchi and Niyra approached the book, glancing at the contents they had the same expression as Niko.
"Aisley, do you understand this?" Niko asked Aisley who was busy reading the contents of the book.
And he was given the task by the old book writer in front of him to unite the races just like the resurrection of the demon lord back then. The burden he carried was quite shocking as he had to request an item belonging to all six major races including humans.
Aisley continued to read them, behind them one by one the books in front of him. While the three people who did not understand at all were sitting in a chair not far from Aisley. They looked at Aisley who was very serious about reading the book.
"How can Aisley understand reading a book whose writing has never been seen in history...." Gerrutu Niyra, she actually also wanted to read the contents of her ancestral books.
"It may be because he's from another world, or it may be that the writing came from his world..." Ryuuchi was no different from Niyra, she also wanted to read the contents of the book.
"But how can such a book exist in this world? As long as I live I have never seen such writing... Ah yes, or maybe because of Aisley's blood that was dripped in the book?" Niko tried to guess.
"No, that's not possible... Every descendant of the Lin family or Agatha would do blood tests on that book right? You and I have done it, but there was no reaction in the book, the book was empty...." Ryuuchi tried to recall the moment the three of them dripped his blood, but nil! Nothing happened, just a little glow and then dim again.
"Ah wait! Aisley says she's also surnamed Agatha isn't she?!" Niyra recalled the moment Aisley first introduced herself.
The three of them continued to talk to guess what was really going on with the book, and the strange writing. Why Aisley could read it, the only one who entered would be it because Aisley from another world or because Aisley's blood from the Agatha family could react in that book.
As they were being engrossed in deliberations, Aisley who had read half the book suddenly fainted. There was quite a loud sound between Aisley's collision with the wooden floor. They were shocked by the fall of Aisley and immediately approached Aisley.
"Aisley, Aisley get up.. Why are you?" Niyra asked in panic.
"He fainted like a man ran out of energy..." Niko Guman.
Niko glanced at the still-floating book, guessing that it was taking Aisley's energy. Ryuuchi picked up Aisley and placed onto the mattress close to where they were sitting. While Niyra was panicking herself, Niko was looking through the floating book.
There were some books on which there was a picture, but strangely the picture was blurry even with his strength he could not see the picture. Only one is the clearest, a key image. The lock was oddly shaped, but quite attractive in his eyes.
"I don't understand anything at all..." Niko Guman.
He went back to Niko who was sitting in his chair, while Niyra was sitting on the edge of the bed with her panicked face. Cute Niko sits next to Ryuichi.
"Did you find anything?" Niko nodded to answer.
"There are some pictures in the book, but the picture is not at all clear... And the book did not attract Aisley's energy at all, only Aisley suddenly fainted..." Further.
