⸙ Ch.2 ◈ Niko

It was dark and cold that Aisley felt right now. I don't know why but he couldn't feel anything at all, even feeling his limbs.

His empty mind seemed to know nothing, but there was something very deep in his mind.

Slowly a dim light entered his sense of sight, he could also feel his limbs returning and a slightly warm feeling compared to earlier.

Now Aisley felt her body lying on the grass because the leaves of the grass hit her smooth skin, then with a warm feeling on her right side. Aisley also heard the gurgling sound of water and flowing water, it seemed like the sound of river water.

"Mhhhh?" Slowly Aisley opened both of her eyes.

The expanse of stars and crescent moons that adorned space became his first sight. Looking to the right, there was a bonfire burning.

"Are you awake?" The voice of an adult man entered Aisley's sense of hearing.

Aisley immediately searched for the source of her voice. A man was burning fish. Trying to get up, but Aisley's body still feels weak.

The man approached Aisley, he helped her to sit down. Leaning Aisley on the tree close to where Aisley was lying earlier.

"Uh...Te...Thanks..." Aisley.

The man gave the newly cooked grilled fish to Aisley, hesitating to accept the grilled fish. Aisley looked towards the man who was thrusting the grilled fish. Because of the light from the campfire he could see the face of the person who was helping him, although it was not as clear when there was sufficient illumination.

"Sister?" His murmur but it could still be clearly heard by the man in front of him.

"Eh? What do you mean, miss?" Ask the man confused.

"What's the boy talkin' about? This is brother, right, sister Niko?" Aisley touched the upper hand of the man in front of her.

"How does Miss know if my name is Niko?" Ask a guy named Niko.

"Uh... Brother doesn't remember me?" Aisley asked confusedly.

"Emm is this girl's brain upside down from falling from a height? But why would he know my real name, whereas only a few people know my real name and face..." Ask the man in his heart.

"Sorry Miss, I don't have a sister at all and we just met for the first time... But I don't know why the lady knows my name?" Said explained.

"No-no.... Brother must be kidding, obviously the city lives in one house how did you say you didn't know me?" Aisley shook her head.

"Ah? All right what if Miss explains later, now eat this fish..." Aisley received the fish that the man had given her.

The man sat down next to Aisley. There was no talking between the two of them, only the sound of insects and fire.

Aisley also had no intention of asking, in addition to her body being in pain, she was also digesting what was going on. Slowly the eyes began to close, finally Aisley fell asleep leaning against the tree behind her.

Aisley woke up from feeling a slightly hot warmth hitting her arm. Slowly he opened his eyes.

The clear river flow and shady trees became the first sight he saw.

Looking here and there was no one, only a former campfire and a package made of leaves.

"Eh? So last night it wasn't a dream huh..." He thought he remembered last night.

Aisley tried to stand up, apparently not too sick. He looked around, looking for a man who had a face and a name like his brother.

"Where is he?" The guman.

Aisley walked downstream of the river, washing her face clean. There was confusion clearly on his face, because he was completely foreign to the area he occupied.

"Are you awake, Miss?" The voice that I heard last night was heard back in Aisley's ear.

"Sister!?" Aisley turned body.

A little surprised to see the person he thought his brother was taller and had long hair. Surely he did not know about the man's height and long hair. Because last night there was only a dim light and the man was sitting, after all last night the man's hair was short. It's possible that a man like his brother locked him in the back.

"Currently... I'm not your sister Miss...."

"Eh... Ma's...Excuse me.... Your face looks like my sister's..." Sluggishly. The man smiled wryly.

"Hope first, if you intend to go..." He said as he glanced at the bundle of leaves.

Aisley just nodded she sat down and ate the food quickly. In fact she was still doubtful if the man was not her brother, but the fact that his height and hair length were different, Aisley tried to believe it.

"So... Where is Miss's next destination?" Ask her.

"Eh? Eumm.... I actually I don't know anything and where I'm going...." Aisley hesitated.

"Eh? Did miss the memory? Wait, but when I checked, there was no problem in the head..." The man was a little confused.

"Eh? Miss doesn't know?" Aisley shook her head.

"Now we are in the forest of Flouna..." Aisley had never heard the name of the forest at all, he who was confused tilted his head.

"Eh Miss still doesn't know? Alright-well.... So where does Miss really want to go?" Ask again to make sure.

"I don't know at all.... I don't want to travel either..." He said while shaking his head.

The man breathed slowly. He then stood up while holding a basket containing plants.

"What if Miss follows me away to town? In this forest even though there are no wild animals, but this is still dangerous..." Bring along.

"Eumm! Wait but you're not going to sell me, are you?" Aisley asked cautiously.

"Huh? Selling Miss? What's for?" The man raised one of his eyebrows.

"Pfttt hahahaha, why am I selling miss? Money matters I still have enough money for the next five years...." He said with a chuckle.

"Be...Really true?" Aisley asked doubtfully.

"Of course, why does the lady think like that?" The man smiled.

"It's okay...." Aisley.

"Is it like that?.... But I read a lot in novels or comics, if I meet people who look good most of me will be sold or made into slaves...." Thought in the heart.

"Then let's go..." The man walked.

Aisley then caught up with him, he looked back and forth as far as his eyes could see that there were only plants.

"Oh yes.... Miss how did you know my name?" Ask the man.

"Oh...Go back to the beginning, because you look like a big brother and I just say the name of the big brother..." Answer Aisley.

"Ah so, so me and your brother are pretty much the same?" Aisley nodded.

"But the height and length of your hair are different..."

"Aih well.... Miss if you may know, why did she fall from the sky?" Ask again.

"Did? I fell from the sky?" Aisley asked confusedly. Niko nodded her head.

"A...I don't know at all.... Because as I remember... I fell asleep and woke up like last night..." The answer is, but only take the outline.

"Eh? Or maybe the lady sleeps by walking?" Ask Niko.

"Te...Of course not! A..I don't even know what place this is..." Niko glanced at Aisley and scratched her non-itchy nape.

"La... Then where does the lady live?" Ask Niko.

"A...I live in England..." Answer Aisley.

"Eh? Ne...British Country? Where's it?" Niko's face seemed confused by Aisley's answer.

"That's the Asian continent, planet earth of course..." Aisley.

"I've never heard of that place..." Niko shook her head.

He tried to remember where Aisley lived, but he had absolutely no idea where it was. In fact this was his first time hearing such strange names as Aisley had said.

"Ummm okay.... Etto...I'm Aisley.... You just call Aisley don't call me 'Miss' anymore.."

Indeed, Aisley was a little uncomfortable because she continued to be called Miss, especially with people who have a look like her brother.
