⸙ Ch.5 ◈ Lantern Festival Story

After they fly the lantern and see it for quite a while, Niko and Aisley will finally return to Niko's house.

They walked together still with their hands together. I don't know why but Aisley is now increasingly tightening the coupling with his 'brother' it.

"Hmm? What's up?" Niko asked who felt Aisley's hand suddenly cold.

"Yes... No.." - No..." He replied in a low voice, barely even heard.

"Ah yes, what if we buy some food or accessories?" Ask Niko.

"Mr..." Aisley's gum again.

"I feel like you're being weird... Is there a problem? Ah is it because of the shadow in the river?" Ask Niko to make sure.

"...No, I just feel.... We feel like lovers dating!" Aisley looked at Niko with an enthusiastic face, even her face was faintly colored in shame.

"The same thing..." Guman Niko inwardly as she looked at Aisley's two eyes.

"Hahaha what are you talking about? But if you think it's true, yes, from that time uh except when in the river we continue to join hands!" Niko looked towards the sky, where there were still many flying lanterns.

Hearing Niko's reply, Aisley immediately laughed softly followed by Niko's small melt. Unlike her mouth, Niko's mind and heart went everywhere.

"Well...The same laugh..." He said again in his heart.

"Hum...All right let's buy some food you like!" Take Niko.

Aisley nodded in agreement, and the two of them walked together to the food vendors.

In the middle of the night, Aisley was completely unable to sleep. It had been almost an hour that he lay on the bed. I don't know why but his mind is still here.

"This shit sucks, better ask brother..."

Aisley got up from her bed, she came out of her room. Walking with a dim light towards his 'brother' room.

The sound of knocking on the door sounded. Niko who was sitting at the window was surprised, Aisley's voice hesitantly and quietly called out to her. Niko immediately walked to the door and opened it. Sure enough, Aisley was standing at the door of her room with her head bowed.

"Why haven't you slept?" Ask Niko.

"Pulse...A....I'm sorry to bother you, there's actually a right I want to ask..." Still lowered, Aisley replied in a very slow voice, but it was clearly heard in Niko's ears due to the silence of the night.

"Not bothering me, I can't sleep anyway.... Biklah, what if you come in?" Ask Niko.

"All right." Aisley replied with lightning.

"Eh... Why did you answer so quickly? Where's my vigilance?" Niko asked as she moved out of the driveway.

"Humm? Surely since you are my 'Sister' now, after all big brother would definitely not do anything with me right?" Aisley replied as she blinked her one eye.

"How is that acceptable?" Guman Niko quietly.

Niko closed the door of her room, she caught up with Aisley who was still standing like Aisley did not know where to go.

"What do you want to ask?" Ask Niko.

"About the festival tonight..." Answer Aisley.

"Eumm is a pretty complicated story... What if you fall asleep?" Niko Tawar.

"Is your sister going to do something?" Aisley asked cautiously.

"Of course not, didn't you say you believed that I wouldn't do something to you?" Reply Niko.

"Huh.. Alright... Wait to sleep in your bed?" Aisley asked doubtfully.

"Sure..." The answer.

"Lay in the middle..." Niko.

"I'm not used to the middle, even when I'm alone..." Answer with a horse.

"Oh? Have you ever slept with someone else?" Ask Niko.

"Of course..." The answer.

"What includes men?" Tanya Niko looks weird.

"Eh? I...Yeah, hey hey wait but it's just with my brother yeah..." Aisley spoke as if denying the style that Niko was born with.

"What's!? Sleeping with my brother!?" His voice was shocked in his heart.

"Why?" Aisley tilted her head.

"Eh no-no.... Let me tell you.. hmmm where did ya start?" Niko looked up at him.

"Just like a sister!" Aisley tilted her body towards Niko.

"Alright, I'll just tell you the outline." Niko smiled with her index finger pointing at the roof.

Niko then tells a story in outline. Aisley listened seriously as if she did not want to miss the story that was said from Niko's lips.

Niko told me that once on the continent of Ascesia, the continent they currently live in. There was a turmoil with the demon race, the demon lord's ambition to rule the entire continent. But of course that ambition is opposed by many races.

In order to save their respective territories, the kingdoms of each race tried desperately. Previously they had not thought at all about uniting their strength.

But due to the increasingly rampant demon race, it was as if they were inexhaustible. The longer the larger the land that was ruled by the demon race. And finally some races that can still survive or have not been extinct unite to defeat the demon race.

Of course their unity is because of their common purpose, otherwise they may be united. Day after day passed by the war, many lives had fallen victim to the demon lord's ambition.

"Wait, big brother why didn't they come together earlier?" Aisley asked not understanding the situation.

"Oh? The hum... Of course the Elves and Elves are unwilling to unite with races like us..." Answer Niko calmly.

"Why is that?!"

"Currently... How yes... The Elf race and the fairy race considered themselves to be a holy race.... So they assume unless they're all races it's a lowly race..." Obviously Niko.

"Huh?! Damn why they're so arrogant.." Aisley.

"Aahaha that's it...." Niko laughed awkwardly.

"But why did they finally unite? It's not for the same purpose, is it?"

"Smart... They would not actually want to unite even though their race was almost extinct... It's all thanks to the magic tower..." Niko returned a sweet smile, but not with the look in her eyes.

"Magic tower?" Ask Aisley again.

"Yes, the magic tower is only inhabited by witches, they have good relations with the fairies and elves because of the magic that witches have..." Obviously Niko.

Niko returns to tell her story, after they unite instead of improving and the situation gets worse. The selfishness of the Elf queen became the main basis, the longer and because of the policy of the magic tower chief they could turn things around.

When they thought they were going to make it, bad news sounded. The Demon King already had his full strength, if they had united earlier perhaps the strength of the demon lord would not have been as strong as it was now.

They are trying to fight, their sacrifice so far will certainly not be wasted.

Although they knew it was impossible to defeat the demon lord who had peak strength but, at least they had already defeated many demon race generals. While the demon race generals were only five, it was already quite profitable.
