⸙ Ch.3 ◈ Capital City

Aisley continued walking with Niko, they passed through some pretty slippery roads. While telling the story eventually over time Aisley felt comfortable with Niko, it felt the same as when she was with her brother.

Although not yet known too far, but Niko herself also felt comfortable with talking to Aisley.

Now Aisley knew that he had moved dimensions. Because from Niko's explanation, here there is no such thing as a country let alone an Indonesian state. There was only a kingdom with its controlled cities.

From this Aisley concluded that the world might be like the medieval world that existed on earth. Because the currency in this world uses Gold, Silver, and bronze.

They continued to walk, until from a distance saw a medieval building.

"We've reached the capital, here I stay..." Niko chirps when they get to the gate.

"Wow!" Only that word came out of Aisley's mouth.

Aisley was amazed by the beauty of the capital. Since the city was the capital of the kingdom of Argenius, the kingdom was the largest so it became a vast and bustling city.

Many people passed by and fro, the clothes they were wearing were not what Aisley thought, namely, long dress clothes.

Aisley walked after Niko to go to her house, along the way a great many people were trading. Food or goods lined up very neatly, the sellers who scream sell their merchandise make the atmosphere more crowded.

"It turns out to be very crowded huh..." Aisley.

"Of course, because two more days will be held Lantern Festival..." Niko replied to Aisley.

"Eh? Lantern festival?" Aisley looked at Niko with a puzzled look.

"Yes, you know lanterns, right?" Niko avenged Aisley's confused gaze.

"What lanterns are flying?" Aisley turned her attention to a most tall and majestic building.

"Yes.... You could say that..." Answer Niko.

"Waw would be so cool!" Aisley exclaimed in a small voice.

Niko who saw Aisley's happy face was smiling faintly. He shook his head, why would he be able to meet a person like Aisley, he thought.

"We've arrived, sorry my house is small..."

Aisley and Niko arrive at a house that is minimalist in size. Niko's house is not too far from the capital's main street, but there is not as many as the capital's main street.

Niko opened the door of her house, a bell rang. It was like the bell of a shop, Aisley thought.

Inside the minimalist house Niko was very neat, there were no items scattered. Aisley entered following Niko, she sat down on the chair that seemed to be the living room.

Aisley looked around, this medieval-style house is very nice. It was mysterious and beautiful at the same time.

"Drink you must be thirsty.." Niko approached Aisley with two glasses of water.

"Thank you..." Aisley.

"Ah yes, what if we go to a dress shop?" Ask Niko.

"Why go there?"

"Of course buy clothes for you, where maybe you will wear clothes that are...... is dirty enough it?" Niko asked while looking at Aisley's clothes from top to bottom.

Aisley who saw it immediately saw the clothes he was wearing, it was true that the clothes Aisley was wearing today were worn. But it was strange why he could wear clothes of this age instead of clothes while he was still in his original world.

"Ehehe well.... But I have absolutely no money..." Said doubtful.

"Thank you!" Aisley returned Aisley's smile.

"Bring first, if you don't mind wearing my clothes... We'll go to the dress shop after lunch..." Aisley nodded in agreement.

"It seems that after a while of talking he was already unsuspecting or thinking I was evil huh hahaha." Niko chuckled to herself.

He is then directed to the bathroom by Niko, not forgetting Niko preparing the clothes that Aisley will wear.

Aisley enters the bathroom in Niko's house, where she puts a clean shirt on a hanger. Aisley took off one by one the clothes she was wearing, she was still confused as to why her clothes changed, did it follow the times?

Aisley put the dirty clothes into a bucket made of wood. When he finished he only realized if he was wearing a necklace that had a key-shaped pendulum.

"What's this necklace?" The guman.

He saw the key that became the pendulum. It felt like he had seen the key, but he had forgotten where he saw it. Get rid of the questions that keep popping up because he thinks it is not important.

Aisley was about to remove the necklace that was stuck in her neck, but she was looking for where the necklace connection was? Absolutely nothing, so he did not know how to release it.

Aisley ignored the necklace problem, maybe he will look for the puzzle later, Aisley immediately took a shower because his stomach was hungry.

They were supposed to have lunch 2 hours before now, as they were at lunchtime in the forest and Aisley himself chose to continue on rather than take a break for lunch which would hinder them towards the Capital.

After taking a shower and getting dressed, Aisley walked towards the dining table. There was already Niko who finished cooking and put food on the dining table.

The food that is served looks very delicious and tempting. Aisley immediately sat down followed by Niko who had finished putting down her last plate.

"I'm sorry I can only cook as is..." Niko said with a beautiful smile on her face.

"Of course it's okay, anyway it's more than enough... Thanks...." Aisley returned Niko's smile with her sweet smile, a smile she usually showed for her brother in Aisley's home world.

They ate the dishes that Niko cooked, When Aisley tried one of the dishes, his eyes sparkled because the cuisine was very good.

"Levy! It's so delicious!" Niko chuckled at Aisley who was enjoying the food at the dinner table.

"Try this one..." Niko gives a dish made of meat.

Aisley nodded and ate the food Niko gave her. His eyes widened, a sense so familiar entered his sense of feeling.

"I..this...." The guman.

"Hmm what's up?" Niko raised one of her eyebrows.

"Hehehe tastes like the food that big brother made!" Reply with pleasure.

"Eh? Really true?" Niko raised one of her eyebrows.

"Yes! It's the food I like best among sister's dishes!" Aisley greedily ate the food.

Niko was actually quite surprised by Aisley's answer, she then just smiled faintly and told Aisley to finish it off.

Lunch has passed, Aisley and Niko go to the clothing store as promised by Niko. Aisley was still the same as when he entered the city, his eyes did not stop looking at the buildings he passed by.
