Chapter 15 - Coming to Mikaila's birthday party

Mikaila's birthday has arrived. Alvin arrived first at Mikaila's residence.

"Hai Mika, you look so beautiful," praised Alvin when he saw Mikaila who was so beautiful with a peach-colored dress, the makeup he used was setema with the dress he wore.

"Thanks Alvin," Mikaila replied.

Mikaila looked around for someone she was waiting for. Alvin understood who the woman was looking for.

"I don't think Candra will come. You know for yourself if he doesn't like the name of the party," said Alvin so Mikaila doesn't look for Candra's whereabouts anymore.

"No, I'm sure he must have come" Mikaila replied confidently.

"Yeah." Alvin breathed for a moment. He actually felt empathetic towards Mikaila. Unfortunately, he could not force one's heart to choose the woman.

"Mika, you have to move on from Candra. He's already married. You need to find another man" asked Alvin, who advised Mikaila a little.

"If forgetting someone is that easy, I already have a lover right now. Forgetting is a very difficult thing. You never force me to forget. You yourself will understand what it would be like to be me" Mikaila said grimly.

Shortly afterwards, a boisterous voice came from the entrance of Mikaila's birthday party. Unexpectedly, Candra comes to Mikaila's birthday party. Of course he came not alone but with Hana who accompanied him.

There was jealousy, resentment and anger in Mikaila's heart. However, he held it off, because he did not want to ruin his mood and his birthday party.

Alvin who saw the presence of his best friend did not believe him. Candra actually listened to her proposal earlier this afternoon to take Hana to Mikaila's birthday party.

Candra and Hana walked closer towards the crowd gathered near who had an event. The two of them joined hands together, like a real couple. In fact, all of that is just a show.

The core event will begin. The guests began singing a happy birthday song to Mikaila. Then before Mikaila blows out her candles she does make a wish first. After that, he cut his birthday cake.

"About who will get the first cut cake from Mikaila? Surely that person is a special person in his heart" said one of Mikaila's friends.

Mikaila walked closer towards Candra. He was about to give Candra his first cut of the cake. Unfortunately, Candra who understood Mikaila's behavior immediately exchanged positions with others. Someone else received the piece of cake.

Mikaila looked upset, but she tried not to show her frustration.

The sound of applause was heard when Mikaila gave her first piece of cake to her college friend Paton Angkasa.

After the cake cutting event, guests are welcome to eat the prepared dishes.

There was a meal immediately, there were congratulating Mikaila and there were also those who made the party a reunion place.

Of course Alvin is among those who congratulate Mikaila.

"Happy birthday Mik, wish you all the best for you" Alvin said as he gave a gift to Mikaila.

"Thanks Alvin" replied Mikaila.

The two also love each other. Mika's eyes were fixed on Candra who was still silent by holding a woman.

"Mik's happy birthday" said Candra. He did not even make physical contact with Mikaila. Even the only card who gave it was Hana.

Cih, you think I don't know what kind of woman you are? It's as if you took Candra from me. I always try so hard to have it! You'll see later.

"Thank you," Mikaila replied with a fake smile.

Hana nodded. He returned to his position next to Candra. While the man just fell silent without wanting to say anything else. I really don't like parties like this. He really wanted to go home and lay down his body on the bed.

"It turns out the gossip I heard you're married is true, right?" ask Mikaila.

"Yes, I'm married" replied Candra.

"Do you love her?" ask Mikaila curious. At least if Candra answered no, there was still a chance for her to win Candra's heart.

"Love her or not, it has nothing to do with you" replied Candra.

"Do you really not know? I liked you a long time ago, Can. Did you never even realize that?" ask Mikaila who has started to get carried away.

"Know. So I came here to tell you that I'm married and you should stop liking me because everything will be for nothing. You'll only feel pain" said Candra.

"Hahaha, that's how easy it is to say Can. The love I've planted and I fertilize every day and now it's become a big tree of love and you're telling me to cut it down?"

Alvin tries to calm Mikaila, he does not want the important event of the woman to be chaotic because the woman is heartbroken because of her best friend. Mikaila will be in the spotlight of many people at her own party.

Fortunately, Mikaila did not invite journalists or the media to cover her birthday party. If he invites, be ready the next day he will be a trending topic for expressing love to a man who is married.

"It's better that way, I say goodbye," said Candra then left by holding Hana. Mikaila's eyes still continued towards Candra. He really can't forget this guy.

"Something that others already have, we should not expect it. You can find something else you can make yours."

Mikaila's eyes now moved to Alvin. It's not his fault he likes Candra. After all, the feeling grew before he knew Candra was getting married. Not wrong is not if he teaches love reply from Candra?

"If you still want to enjoy this party, shut up and never advise me!" threatening Mikaila then walked away from Alvin.

Alvin shuddered in horror. Apparently true, if the woman is already angry and upset, she will look very creepy. As much as possible, if he already has a woman, he must be smart to maintain the emotions of his woman.

"I'd better enjoy all the dishes here. It's good to eat for free" said Alvin. He took one meal at a time and put it in his mouth.

The night is getting late. The party continued with drinks. Alvin chose to go home rather than get drunk and end up unconscious.
