The Bitter Sweet Marriage

The Bitter Sweet Marriage
Chapter 24 - Wejangan of Alvin

Lunch hours have arrived. Alaska was at the cafe first. He could not wait for Hana to arrive. Soon after, Hana came and sat down in front of Alaska.

Not wanting to waste her time and give Alaska hope, Hana got straight to the point.

"Tell me what you want to say. I can't go on for long" said Hana, who was reluctant to spend time with Alaska.

"Can't we have lunch first? After that I just talked? We haven't seen each other in a long time, there must be a lot of things you've been through and I want to know. So, just relax, okay?" alaskan Pinta.

Hana sighed softly. To be honest he was reluctant to connect or meet again with Alaska, not that he hated it just that he did not want any more problems with the Alaskan family who did not like him because it was not from the children of the rich.

"Sorry, I can't. If you keep forcing me to have lunch with you, I'd better get back to work" Hana said, much to Alaska's chagrin.

"Alright, if that's what you want." Alaska finally gave up. He did not force her to eat with him.

"Hana .., as you know, all this time I can't forget you. I always remember everything about you. I want us back together. We reassure both my parents and marry me" Alaska said sincerely as she grabbed one of Hana's hands on the table.

Hana threw Alaska's hand slowly and said, "Alaska, our story is over. I can't re-arrange a new story with you. Because the chances are the same eventually. Find a woman that both your parents like. I'm married anyway."

The confession about Hana being married left Alaska shocked and heartbroken. But he still behaves normally, Hana could lie so that he does not want to be tied to her anymore.

"You must be lying. I can't believe you're married. You're not even wearing your wedding ring" said Alaska, trying to deny reality.

"You believe it or not, it's none of my business. Most importantly, I told you. Our conversation is over here. I don't think there's anything else we should talk about. I'm sorry."

Hana left from the front of Alaska leaving a deep wound. How could he miss the information about his ex-girlfriend? An ex who always had a shadow in his memory.

"Should I give up now?" ask him to yourself.

"I shouldn't have followed your request to end our story. Maybe, the storyline will be different."

Alaska stared at the streets outside. He continued to pay attention to Hana who had now entered Candra's office.

***

Upon arrival in the pantry, Hana breathed a sigh of relief because she had explained that she was no longer single in front of the former.

"May you forget me quickly. I know, you're good and even too good for this ordinary me. God does not predestine us to be together, but God still predestines us to meet even though circumstances are different. I hope you can find your soul mate."

Apparently Candra heard all the words, when she was going into the pantry to ask for a drink.

"Who does he mean?" candra gumam.

Not wanting to be too dizzying, Candra also made a sound, to make Hana surprised.

"Make me coffee without sugar!"

"God! Just surprised!" hana spontaneously said while stroking her chest.

"Eat it in the office don't daydream!"

"Okay sir, sorry."

Hana who did not want to argue with Candra also apologized.

"Later when it's done, just drop it straight into the room."

Hana nodded. Candra just left with a lot of questions in her head.

***

"Come! You think this is your office? It is easy to enter when there is no owner. Good thing you're my best friend! If I don't, I'll throw you out!" upset Candra on Alvin.

While Alvin he only gave a grin and brandished his two fingers to form the letter V which means peace.

"Don't keep getting angry! Soon you'll be old and you'll know the taste!" alvin's Advice.

"Don't advise me! Just tell me what's your purpose for coming here?"

"Hmm, what is it? I actually don't have any purpose. Just wanted to come. How's Hana doing? You didn't torture him, did you?" ask Alvin full of questions.

"You think I'm a temperament man who's easy to light-handed! Hmh! It can drop my self-esteem if I'm being rude to a woman let alone hurting her physique" said Candra, who did not accept being accused of torturing Hana.

"You did not torture his physique but his mind. Come on, open your heart to him. She's better than Celine."

"Rather than you keep telling me to forget about Celine, you better get out of my room! I'm so tired of hearing that, that and that from your mouth!"

Seeing Candra's upset response to him, Alvin finally relented and did not talk about it again.

"All right, all right, I skipped the conversation. Actually coming here, I just wanted to say that I'm going to Italy for a long time. I just want to say goodbye to you."

"Oh."

"What?! You just respond with the word 'oh'. I'll be gone a long time! That means I can no longer advise you to get back on the right path. Is our friendship that bad? Until there's no sweet parting words from your mouth?"

Alvin expressed his frustration at Candra. This man is really good at processing emotions in Alvin. So clever that Alvin wants to send Candra to the earth's crust.

"Part yourself well. That's my farewell" Candra said sincerely after seeing Alvin's annoyance.

The sound of people knocking on the door, Candra lets the person in.

Hana came with a glass of coffee that Candra asked for. He put the coffee on the table. As he was about to get out of the room, Alvin prevented him and walked over to Hana. Then whisper something in Hana's ear.

"I'm sure you'll be able to make that shitty guy submit to you. Stay strong and don't give up. If you need help, you can call me" whispered Alvin, then handed her card to Hana. He then gave the code by slightly winking one of his eyes at Hana.

This is not separated from Candra's vision.

"You may go out, do not respond to the man!" candra said to Alvin.

Alvin chuckles at hearing it. Someone is starting to get possessive here. It seems like sooner or later, even without the help of him the liking begins to exist in Candra. It's just that it's still buried with the old taste that actually disappeared without Candra noticing.
