The Bitter Sweet Marriage
Chapter 36 - I will try my best

"Because we've agreed to start everything from scratch. We start by sleeping in the room together" Candra suggested.

"Alright," Hana replied.

And now they're in the same room, Candra's room. The room is dark.

"If you don't like the color, you can change the color" said Candra.

"No, there's no need. Let it be like this. If it's dirty then I'll change everything."

Candra walked over and immediately lay down on her bed. He patted the place next to her so that Hana would sleep next to him.

Should I sleep with her tonight? Nothing's gonna happen to me, right? She couldn't have made love to me right away, right?

"Why are you still standing there? Can your feet not walk? Or should I carry it?"

After hearing the word carried, Hana quickly immediately positioned herself beside Candra.

"From that cake," said Candra who then hugged Hana without permission.

"Eh." Hana is shocked by Candra's sudden embrace.

"Don't refuse! We had a deal. So you have to get used to my new attitude!" After saying that to Hana, Candra closed her eyes.

Shortly after, a soft snoring sound was heard. Apparently Candra had fallen asleep. While Hana, she still does not believe in Candra's attitude that can quickly change like this.

"Is this real? I still feel like a dream. Are we really going to live life as husband and wife as we should? Can I now show my love directly? Can I?"

Hana asked as if she was talking to Candra. He looked at the calm face with a sweet smile on his lips. He rubbed Candra's head affectionately and then fell asleep.

The next morning, Candra woke up first. He felt that his sleep was very good, very different from usual. When he opened his eyes, there was Hana beside him. Their positions are still hugging each other. Now replace Candra who rubbed Hana's hair and then kissed Hana's forehead.

"I'll try my best for you. You don't have to do anything to get my attention anymore. Because I'm the one who's coming for you. Thank you for being patient all this time."

The speech ended with a kiss on Hana's lips. Candra's smile continued to expand when she saw Hana who began to disturb her sleep. However, he had no intention of waking Hana up. Candra got out of bed and went to the bathroom.

Shortly after, Hana also woke up, she felt astonished because her room turned into a dark nuance. Instantly he woke up.

"Ah, I forgot. Apparently from last night I'm gonna sleep here."

"Where's Candra?" hana said when Candra was no longer in bed.

After the bath, Candra who was wearing a kimono towel came out of the bathroom and looked after the shirt that had been prepared by Hana. He smiles.

"It all started. It's not too bad your choice either."

Candra immediately put on the shirt. He sees his reflection in the mirror. Today feels different than usual. He wants to keep smiling. Until finally the sound of the phone ringing disperse everything.

"Hello Candra."

"Hello ma, what's wrong? Don't you usually call me early in the morning like this?" ask Candra who was astonished.

"Can't really?" ask the mother.

"Yes can."

"Well, let's not ask much. Mama just wanted to ask, how is your relationship with Hana? Can't you open your heart yet?"

"Why the hell ma? Are you curious about my feelings and my relationship with Hana? Some who live even me. Mama doesn't have to interfere. Let me take care of it."

"It's not. Mama just wants to see you happy with Hana, Candra. Because even though you love Celine, Hana is still your wife. Celine your past. Appreciate his feelings."

"Yes, yes, I understand ma. If my mom wants to know the answer. Mama can see for herself later. Hana and I will come to my mom's house for dinner together."

"Alright, mama wait for your arrival later at home. Then mommy's closing up."

The phone ends. Candra sighed for a moment while remembering her mother's words.

"I have never appreciated your feelings and your presence. But, from this moment on. I'll try my best."
