128 Gede Heart Expressions

Gede has been in Jakarta for two days. He stayed at a hotel that had been prepared by the seminar committee. Every morning before going to the seminar or at lunch. He always calls his wife. That afternoon he contacted Qiya vya video call.

Qiya was in the hospital. His wife's face looked a little pale.

"Dec, vomit again?" Tanya Gede's.

"So there's a patient wearing perfume, don't know the aroma I don't like to continue nausea until now." Qiya.

Seen on the screen of Gede's phone, Cita from the back brought two cups of juice.

"Tuh Dateng's true friend. Close it first. Don't be so tired. Cit... titip Qiya yes." Gede Say.

"Every Doctor. Don't forget my license next month... Hehe...." Said Cita while sitting at Qiya's side and gave her Qiya's favorite dragon fruit juice during her pregnancy.

Gede ended his phone call because he felt there was already a friend of his wife. He continued lunch because the menu prepared by the waiter was served on his desk. Because they do not like the menu provided by the committee. Gede went to a restaurant located not far from the location of the hotel where the seminar was held.

When just a few bribes Gede enjoyed his lunch. Suddenly there was a woman who Gede did not know too well sitting in front of him. Gede raised his gaze and the woman seemed to smile at him. He put a small bag on the table.

Gede circled the scenery around him. Some of the dining tables in the restaurant are still empty. But he didn't think strange. He will just continue his lunch.

"Your name is Gede Ardhana?" Ask the woman who turned out to be Hilman's mother.

Gede put the spoon back. He wiped his mouth with a handkerchief.

"Yes. Right. Sorry whose mom? Have we met before?" Tanya Gede was curious.

"I.... I am the mother of Ratih. I'm Hilman's mother." Said Mrs Ratih.

Gede. He took the glass on his right side. He drank half the glass. He is still waiting for the explanation of Mrs Ratih.

"You know Hilman?" Investigate Bu Ratih who does not know if her husband has already contacted Gede.

"Yes, a member of the House of Representatives, my wife's ex-fiancee" Gede said softly.

He still looked at the woman. Wanna get out of there. But he wanted to hear what Hilman's mother meant to meet him.

"You only know Hilman to that extent?" Bu Ratih's voice has been heard.

Tears were clearly visible in the corner of his eyes.

"As the son of Mr Rendra? The owner of a major party in this country?" Gede has not yet opened that he already knows who Hilman is.

"And do you know Mr. Rendra only to the extent?" Ask Bu Ratih slowly.

This time Gede had his hands. He's not even conscious. The heartache was so great from remembering the name of the man. The heart wants to take the glass on its right side. He wants to drink again. But the glass broke in his hand. He was even surprised. Because he did not intend to smash the glass in his hand.

"Byparrrrr....!" The sound of the glass broke in Gede's grasp.

"Astaghfirullahalazhim says...." Said Madam Ratih surprised.

"Don't touch." Gede said slowly but with great emphasis.

Gede seemed to lift the glass pieces that stuck it.

"You see, this wound is bigger than the wound your husband left for me and my mother. Ssshhhttt..," said Gede while enduring the pain as he took a piece of glass that stuck in his palm.

Back Gede took the other pieces.

"Shhhh.... This is how the pain is. My mother's heartache during fighting for her name to be on my birth certificate."

"This is how it hurts to be driven out of the village." Say Gede again.

Mrs Ratih was crying. He only saw the daaaarah continue to flow from Gede's hands.

"This is how my mother's pain when she was dumped and even threatened to fight for her rights." Say Gede again.

Madam Ratih was unable to open her mouth. Only tears could represent Rassa's sadness, shame and guilt. He could feel what Gede felt.

"And is this what my mother feels like every time she recalls that time. Especially meeting those who are related to that? No. gabe... No. gabe... It hurts more. This pain is nothing. My mother's heart, my heart hurts more than this wound. This wound will have a cure. But the wounds that your husband has inflicted on my mother's heart.... That's no cure... Do you and your husband want to come back? Back to our lives... You can't be happy with our lives... Hhhh." said Gede who had tears in his eyes.

"I'm sorry.... " Say Bu Ratih accompanied by full of sobs.

Gede remembers all the times when his mother felt tired, difficult to throw away, became a single parent.

"I beg Nak Gede... Forgive my husband. His mistake has now been answered. He has got his karma." said Mrs Ratih.

"In our religion there is no Karma. There is a test or warning to us from God. How we react to it. Sorry excuse me." Gede said while standing up.

Ratih's mother immediately sat on the floor against Gede's footsteps. Qiya's husband glanced around her. He felt bad for being the center of attention.

"Stand, ma'am, do not beg the creature. Don't humble yourself to a lowly creature like me." Gede Say.

Ratih cupped both of his hands. He begged Gede.

"I beg. If indeed Nak Gede is unable to forgive my Husband, then I am here to beg as Hilman's mother. As a mother who is struggling for the recovery of her child. Imagine what if my mom wanted to be in my position?" Said Mrs Ratih.

Gede took a deep breath. He held onto the shoulder of Mrs Ratih. He also directed Bu Ratih to his chair that he had just occupied.

"But my mother never sat down in front of men. My mother never even rested in front of the man she expected her compassion to be. And I'm sure if my mother's in your position. My mother would not dare to meet me." said Gede softly.

Madam lifted her eyes.

"I beg..... Help Hilman... He needs a spinal cord donor. He has leukemia" said Mrs Ratih, staring at Gede.

Gede. He can't speak. He closed his eyes for a moment.

"I'm sorry Mom. I don't think I can do that. I would definitely hurt my mother. My mother also would not allow it if she knew." said Gede who passed away leaving behind Bu Ratih who became increasingly sad and crying.
