Chapter 16: Disputes in the Party

Helios tilted her head and tensed veins were coming out through the side of her face. His eyes glared wide as if to shine his anger so deeply on Touya.

“Hah?! You challenge me, trash?!”

“I don't care what you say about me. But, if there is a problem directly speak in front of my face. Don't be a coward who dares to fight a girl!”

Everyone in the room was shocked. Wh why?

Of course, all of them who saw Touya knew that he was a low-class demon. And also, what he was facing was Helios. However, he was undaunted to speak and even stood in the way of his will.

Especially for Reina whose heart was touched. He who saw Touya standing up was unable to turn away from him.

As for Zephkiel himself, feeling endlessly shocked. Originally, he was still doubtful towards Touya who did not possess any magic abilities. But, his figure dared to stand up and fight someone without a view of status. It was a trait very similar to his father.

On the other hand, Helios began to see glances to his left and right. The other demons started rumbling as if they thought Helios was wrong and deserved punishment. However, as a high-class demon, Helios' self-esteem could not let anything stand in her way.

His anger that peaked at that moment was seen from how terrifying the look on his face was on Touya.

Reina shouted to warn Touya as soon as Helios started moving. His body was strongly pushed and immediately shot rapidly towards Touya. Anyone who saw the movement of Helios would know that Touya would not survive the attack.

Helios was also surprised. He who wiped the blood from his lips turned even worse.

Reina who saw Touya standing gallantly with her bare hands to fight Helios was immediately stunned.

But that moment was certainly not the end. Helios who was peaking full of anger immediately released her magic energy in the form of an aura explosion that came out from all over her body.

Helios's eyes turned a reddish-black into that of a monstrous demon. If compared, it is a demonic figure that is commonly imagined by the human world.

Black eyes with red irises. The vertically-striped pupil is sharp like a predator glaring sharply at its prey.

And in the blink of an eye, Helios disappeared from Touya's sight.

That hard blow on his stomach stopped Touya's focus and words. He even spewed out his entrails as it was a Helios attack that landed heavily.

Touya immediately fell down with both knees supporting his body. The contents of his stomach that came out all while holding his stomach that was in pain.

“Touya!” yell Reina

“You see? You're just a low-class demon. If I'm serious, you won't be able to fight me. Even your non-you just tremble and want to help you immediately!” said Helios

“Helios, stop!” yell Reina

He turned his back to Touya who was in a slump with his condition.

“Reina, you're too blinded by good intentions. A demon must exalt himself and have servants that conform to his standards. You only make bad Alloces surname if it's like this” Helios said

“All the things I do have nothing to do with you!” refute Reina

“Really? You who became the daughter of the demon lord, brought a low-class demon in the hope that she would become strong. Is that not a little naive just because you have the title of demon king's daughter?”

Reina instantly stunned in silence. Gritting her teeth showed how much she tried to hold back.

From behind it, there was a look of Touya who stood up again. The two legs that helped him rise to his feet again, created a tremendous pressure from Touya. It was like the roar of an unforgiving beast.

Helios who realized it frantically made a spear out of his magic energy. He turned around and wanted to stab Touya quickly.

Touya did the same, but he swung his bare hands to hit back.

Zephkiel's words surprised Touya. His face smiled thinly as if he really showed himself not to bother about it.

Touya was immediately taken away by Reina. Together with Haru and also Alicia who followed him from behind.

While the party that is still in the middle of the road was inhabited by a heavy atmosphere and also full of chaos. And in the midst of this, Vanessa came to her husband.

“Darling, you feel it?”

Zephkiel nodded as if he understood what his wife was saying. His memories flashed back when he saw Touya had changed in an instant and showed a terrifying terror.

“In a moment, Touya had felt like someone else” said Zephkiel

“I thought I was the only one who felt it, but it turns out you are also yes” Vanessa said
