Chapter 22: The Devil in the Church

Spears that numbered so much came towards them. Haru who immediately stood at the front line, opened his palm and formed a replica spear that fought back.

While handling the rain of spears, Haru turned to Touya who was behind him.

“Sister Touya, crystal sister Alice!”

At that moment, Touya remembered the crystal ball Alice had given him. He who took out the crystal immediately threw it on the ground.

The crystal ball that has broken indicates that the magic in Alicia's possession has been active to track the location of Touya and Haru.  While Felicia who saw the remnants of energy coming out of the crystal ball fragment was aware of the function of her magic.

When Felicia wanted to launch another attack, Haru easily destroyed the spear with the clutch of his hand.

He got an idea that might work. He ran as fast as he could while Felicia was busy fighting Haru. Touya stood behind the statue and pushed it with all his might.

And there, they saw a huge statue of the church that wanted to fall before them.

While Touya who heard those words became stunned in silence. Because, what Haru said sounded like the words Touya had said before to Haru. And ironically, the words were back on Touya who at that time had doubted himself.

And when they had just breathed a sigh of relief, the church statue that lay on the ground suddenly split open. A purple glow radiant strongly shone from each side that was split within the statue.

A huge explosion followed. Touya and Haru who were knocked back were so surprised he tried to hold back with all his might.

“Ughh! In-dia-!”

Felicia rose with her mounting anger. The purple aura that enveloped his body was visibly blazing strongly. The fluttering of wings made a gust of wind that even collapsed the rest of the church building.
