Chapter 31: The Encounter

“Sister Alicia left because miss asked her to check it out?” ask Touya

Reina nodded slowly at his question.

“So far, Alicia has not been able to confirm the existence of traces of Ooyama Yuri's magic. It's just that, he found out that there is a magic protector near the church that the priest showed,” explained Reina

“Magic shield?” ask Touya

The day passed quickly. The finished school lesson leads Touya to immediately go out of class as well as his school. He walked alone on the day that the sky changed by night.

Touya sailed while looking down silently at his own shadow. His posture back then looked like he was thinking about a lot of things. And the reality is like that.

Touya was remembering about his condition that not too long ago was still an ordinary student. He was stabbed by Yuri and almost drowned in the lake. When she thought it was the end of her life, she was saved by Reina and became her butler as a demon.

Not only that, the blow about the fact that she was an adopted child was also very surprising. Not to mention the existence of his father who turned out to be a revolutionary demon who moved hell.

He held his head and shook it as if trying to clear himself.

Of course Touya was confused. He was in a vast street complex that even only had branching roads. There is no place that can be used as a hiding place for this person.

However, at a glance Touya recalled his conversation with Reina. The magic protector Alicia was trying to solve had a unique combination of magic. Protective magic has properties that can close themselves from the outside and vice versa.

Therefore, Touya concluded that the person was hiding with a magic protector. But, how do you destroy it?

One question that got him back to a dead end. Each bullet in the shot never stopped and continued to scratch his body adding new wounds.

His eyes squinted slowly and realized that the bullet was not hovering. It is like sticking an invisible wall. The small cracks around him also explained his thoughts.

If the bullet did not float, then it was most likely that invisible wall was a magic made.  For the sake of proving it, Touya immediately ran towards the bullet stuck.

“(If indeed it is a magic protector, then there is only way out. I'm not good at analyzing magic. But, there is one thing I have!)”

His hands were tightly clenched and pulled backwards as if preparing to hit.

The voice from Vritra from the gauntlet continued to shout and increased Touya's physique which was focused onto his left arm.

The first punch landed on that invisible wall. The vibrations that make the space around him sound and prove to Touya that his thinking is right.

Shalba who saw Touya could realize he was locked up in protective magic was shocked. But he did not feel threatened at all.

The magic protector instantly shattered instantly like a shard of glass. The previously closed space that shows reality, is now open and shows the figure of Shalba who turns out to be standing far beside him with two fire weapons.
