Ch.19 - Initial Plan
Although Li Tian was confident of being able to tear apart the entire 3 sects that now controlled the Dongwan Continent, he did not want to do so. He wanted all the members of the Dragon Altar Sect to fight together in the face of his opponent.
"For now we should attack some of their areas of power. That way they will send troops to help the territory we attack. We will continue to make movements in their other territories until their armies will continue to be divided. That way then their plans will definitely continue to be delayed."
Li Tian's plan made everyone stroke his chin, thinking what Li Tian said was indeed true.
"Then we will divide the troops into 10 groups, each led by the Elder as well as me and Elder Li Tian." Fang Mu explained the areas of enemy power that were the closest.
Each of their groups will light up one region, but not simultaneously. They would gradually create chaos to the point of making the enemy dizzy.
Li Tian was actually thinking of destroying all of those regions if necessary. But he knew the higher-ups of the Dragon Altar Sect would not agree to such a cruel thing. They will not brutally kill innocent people. So Li Tian simply kept his thoughts.
After all the plans were carefully arranged, they began to prepare troops based on their respective groups.
All troops are evenly divided in quantity and quality.
Li Tian had 20 thousand troops with him. He will be the first to make that mess. As night fell, Li Tian brought all the troops to a city that was their destination.
Surely Li Tian did not bring all his troops at once. He further divided his army into 5 groups to attack 4 other nearby cities.
"There are some Transcendent level cultivators who are inside there. There will be no problem at all. I'm gonna start." Li Tian pointed towards the wall surrounding the city.
The Yin-Yang energy was centered on his fingertips, forming a Yin-Yang symbol as large as a marble and then fired.
A Yin-Yang ball shot up against the city wall.
*BOOOMMM!
The explosion from the Yin-Yang energy was so loud, it made an earthquake tremor to the housing that was quite far from the explosion even to the point of collapse.
All the cultivators guarding there were instantly on standby.
Not only were they shocked by the huge explosion but all of Li Tian's troops were behind him.
They had not expected Li Tian's strength to be so great. Just launching an attack with his fingertips could create such a loud explosion.
"Jiang Wu!" Li Tian simply said his name and soon Jiang Wu darted forward by himself until he was quite close to the blast area.
He wanted to make the Ancient Dinasty members who were there see his whereabouts, then he would escape and surely the enemy troops would catch up.
Jiang Wu was at the late-stage Transcendent level and also had the fastest movements among the Transcendent cultivators in Li Tian's group so he had the task of luring out the enemies.
"Look at him must be the one who caused this explosion!" A Transcendent level cultivator of stage 1 pointed at Jiang Wu's whereabouts.
"He's going to run away! Quickly summon all the troops to chase after him!" the cultivator commanded all his troops while he was quick to chase after Jiang Wu.
Realizing that the one chasing him was only at the early stage of the Transcendent level, Jiang Wu smiled faintly then moved even faster until in an instant he was no longer visible to the eyes.
"Damn it! He's moving really fast." The cultivator cursed in annoyance. "He must be a member of the Dragon Altar Sect who made a mess, I have to report this to the Chairman." the person immediately returned.
All the troops in the city were already on alert because of the attack just now. They prepared all the troops on the wall with full readiness.
Meanwhile, Jiang Wu had already returned to where Li Tian was.
"The first stage has already succeeded." in this first stage, Jiang Wu was only tasked to make the enemy troops think if the one who attacked this was a member of the Dragon Altar Sect.
That way they will become more easily provoked later.
"Good." Li Tian nodded then shot back the Yin-Yang ball towards the other wall not too far away from the previous wall.
*BOOOMMM!
Explosions again occurred, killing all enemy troops who were on top of the wall and hit by an explosion.
Not stopping there, Li Tian again fired another shot. This time the attack did not hit the wall but entered through the destroyed wall.
*BOOOMMM!
The explosion of Yin-Yang balls occurred within the city area. But Li Tian deliberately targeted a place far from the settlement so it should not fall victim.
Jiang Wu had already moved back, making himself visible to the enemy forces.
"That's it! Hurry after!"
The opposing army that was emotionless saw the city they were assigned to destroyed, directly chasing after Li Tian, calling their friends to help.
In the end there were several hundred opposing forces with dozens of Transcendent level cultivators chasing after Jiang Wu.
Jiang Wu deliberately brought them all into the forest then it was time for an ambush.
Li Tian led his army to move to ambush the enemy.
