The Destiny of the Undone

The Destiny of the Undone
chapter 3

Jisoo was hard lying down but could not close her eyes. While in the next room, Jiwon had already slept very soundly. Although Jisoo hates being the Crown Princess, she is still a child. He thought about how his Abeojis were doing right now. She must have been looking for her son–'s whereabouts even though she knew her Abeojinya would still punish Jisoo if she managed to find him.

Geck.. Geck.. Geck.. “Nuna, this is Chanwoo. I'm here to bring you a blanket.”

"Ah okay, Chanwoo-ssi. Thanks." He said after receiving a blanket thick enough.

"Eommoni asked me to give you this blanket because it was getting cold outside. Jiwon hyung's property I've given you so don't worry."

"Thank you."

"Either. Sorry to interrupt nights like this."

"No problem. Good night." Jisoo closed the door. But immediately came to his mind for something rather risky.

He opened his bedroom door and looked for Chanwoo who had not left his room.

"Song Chanwoo!" Call him and the one with the name looks over. He went back to Jisoo.

"What's Nuna? You need anything?" Ask Chanwoo.

"I need your help. Can you?" Jisoo said seriously.

"of course. What is Nuna?"

"Can you keep our whereabouts a secret?"

"Can. But for what?" Chanwoo was curious and a little suspicious of Jisoo.

"Can I trust you?"

"of course. I'm not gonna tell anyone. Promise." Chanwoo reassured Jisoo while raising his little finger.

"Then come in for a minute. There's something I want to tell you."

So, how's Nuna?" Chanwoo asked after entering Jisoo's room.

"I beg you not to tell anyone about this." Jisoo has to make sure that Chanwoo is completely biased to keep his secret.

"I actually ran away from my house in Gwangju. If any cavalrymen are looking for me, just tell them you've never seen either of us."

"All right." Chanwoo nodded in agreement. But suddenly he wondered who Jisoo and Jiwon really were.

"But wait a minute. Horsemen? In this country that can buy horses only the nobles. Wait for. There's no way you're stealing!?" Chanwoo's voice was slightly raised. He suspects Jisoo.

"St! Don't loud. I'm not stealing, you idiot! Do I look like a criminal?!" Jisoo pouting.

"Kang Jisoo-ssi, explain to me who exactly are you?" Chanwoo asked who was already very confused.

"I am a Crown Princess. At least until this second." Clearly without pride.

"Well Daebak! Jinjja.." Chanwoo was amazed as he closed his mouth.

"You think that's amazing?" Sahut Jisoo flat.

"of course. A Princess of the King came to our village. It is an honor for us Your Majesty!" Chanwoo said as he bowed which was instantly prevented by Jisoo.

"It doesn't need to be like that. I'll be off my title in a moment. I don't want to be part of the kingdom anymore."

"Why? Isn't that something to be proud of? Being the king's daughter is amazing."

"There is nothing better than being mediocre. Don't call me anything but my name. My real marg is Kim. But keep calling me Kang Jisoo for at least as long as I'm here. Please keep this a secret, including your Abeojim."

"Ready, Your Highness Princess Jisoo."

"Haishis. Don't loud. You're gonna wake everybody up. Quickly go back to your room! I don't want you in trouble."

"alright. Good night, Nuna."

"Good night."

Jisoo was back lying down with a blanket given Chanwoo. Warm. Maybe that's what makes Jisoo's eyes even more heavy at this time. He tried to fight but it did not work. In the end he had to succumb to his fatigue and drowsiness were denied, Jisoo also entered into the dream realm.
