"Nothing is forgotten?" ask Ashlan worriedly.
"Calm down, master. I've brought everything I need!" answer Aqua confidently.
Today is Ashlan and Aqua's farewell day. Of course, that doesn't mean they won't see each other again. Ashlan had to take care of a lot of documents and research related to the Demon King, she was already not that reluctant to accompany Aqua.
"alright. Let me know if you need help. I believe in you, Aqua!"
Ashlan decides to stop worrying about Aqua and believes in her proud disciple.
"Go to the Vittacelar Kingdom! Have them guarantee your identity and practice dark magic with a man named Alesta. She's a trustworthy dark magician."
Ashlan's words last night flashed through Aqua's mind.
"It looks like I can't avoid the fate of going there, huh."
"Don't forget, come back when you're 15. We made an appointment with your fiance, didn't we?"
"Good, master. Then I'm leaving!"
Aqua kissed her teacher's hand and flew away while waving at her teacher. Ashlan sighed and waved her hand.
After Aqua was no longer visible, Ashlan's expression suddenly became serious. With one flick, his clothes turned into his work clothes. Ashlan instantly teleported to the magic tower to start her work.
Teleportation magic is a dark element magic. Ashlan did not have the blessing of the dark element, so she used teleportation paper which was quite expensive. Aqua had that element, yet she had not been able to use it because she did not understand the principle.
Aqua flew through the magic forest, monsters were no problem for her. He was already used to the monsters from the magic forest. After flying for quite a while, Aqua would rest and sleep on the tree. It happened repeatedly until Aqua came out of the forest.
The view of the vast prairie stretched out in front of Aqua. He hadn't seen her in a long time.
"It's been 3 years, yeah."
Aqua decided to just walk from there. This is because flying magic itself is quite difficult. If Aqua did not want to attract attention, then walking was the right choice.
While walking he enjoyed the scenery that made him reminisce. Although there were some monsters around, it was just a low rank monster like a slime. Occasionally Aqua mengoel-noel slime with her finger. He laughed to himself.
"If it's just a gini road, I could be next month just arrived."
"Let's speed things up a little bit."
Aqua added wind magic at her feet and the speed increased drastically. The gust of wind that hit his face made his brown hair flutter backwards like a blaze. He enjoyed it all with his whole heart.
In the middle of his journey, Aqua sees a horse-drawn carriage being attacked by a group of goblins. It might sound cruel, but his teacher once taught him not to get involved with people being attacked by monsters in the street.
"Aqua, monsters don't usually attack people for no reason. Usually they attack people who enter their territory or because that person is looking for trouble first. But the most dangerous thing is, the monster is controlled or manipulated to attack the target. Therefore, don't be heroic. You're not a hero, you don't have to try to save everyone. It could be because of such nature, you actually endanger others. But that doesn't mean you can't help people. Observe first! Whether helping them is the right thing to do or not."
His teacher's advice flashed through Aqua's mind.
"Even without saying I know."
Aqua used magic to make her body invisible, it could be done by refracting light.
Near the carriage was a party of mercenaries protecting the carriage from goblins. Aqua confirmed their level with her left eye. Now Aqua extended her bangs to cover her left eye, so she didn't have to wear blindfolds anymore. To be honest Aqua had high hopes of seeing the first mercenary she saw so out of the forest.
But the boy was disappointed.
"It's just a low-rank party with levels below 50, huh.." complained Aqua.
"But they look a little old. But minimal experience…"
Aqua silently watched them. Party cooperation is bad. Tanks do not try to protect the rear line and instead fear advancing.
"Choose one! Protect or flee! Don't go back and forth."
Aqua growled herself at their behavior. It's not just the bad tanks. Their Assassins could not look for an opportunity, the overly advanced marksman and the swordman of sword origin swung.
"Wire this, even though their opponent is only a level 20 goblin. But the number of goblins was quite a lot and their cooperation was even better. Is it because I'm too used to meeting strong people like masters and friends, they look like babies?"
Aqua couldn't stand watching them. The horse carriage passengers were terrified, but the protectors were unreliable. Aqua pityed looking at him, she picked up the stones around her and threw them at those goblins. With just a single shot from Aqua, the heads of the goblins broke apart and died instantly.
They could not move for fear of being hit by the stone. Without them knowing it, no goblins had survived.
Aqua left them just like that in a state of confusion. If Aqua appeared, they would definitely ask Aqua to protect them and so on.
"It's gonna be a hassle."
Aqua again moved quickly towards the Vittacelar Kingdom. Several times he stopped to help people secretly. Actually, he didn't bother to help her either. But his conscience's day refused.
It was already night, Aqua was sleeping on a tree near the rock land. He made a small barrier magic to protect himself from sudden attacks.
"Master is busy now. What the master is doing, huh…"
Aqua said right before her eyes closed.
"…."
"Ong…"
"Please!!!!!"
A scream woke Aqua up. He heard people asking for help. Aqua put up magic to improve her hearing. Other than that cry for help, there were several voices of adults chasing after him.
"Ck, shit, I don't like this. It reminds me of mama first," Aqua annoyed.
Aqua immediately ran towards the origin of the sound. He stood on a tree and looked around. Some adults carrying torches and sharp weapons chase after a small creature who knows nothing.
Thanks to the Dragon's Eye, Aqua could see in the darkness clearly. He jumped from one tree to another. After getting close enough to the little creature, Aqua stuck out her hand and caught the creature. And quickly took him away.
"Deliver!! Release me!!! Who are you!!!!!"
The creature was struggling to be released. But Aqua's grip was too strong to remove.
After feeling quite safe, Aqua released the little creature carefully. The creature looked at Aqua alertly, but Aqua just kept quiet with a calm look.
The creature was in the form of a long black-haired child until it touched the ground. His appearance was messy and dirty. A pair of horns stuck in his head. He also has a beautiful long black tail. As well as sparkling golden eyes that were staring at Aqua ferociously. Judging from his appearance, the child was around the age of 6-7 years.
"Oyy, did you hear me!? I asked who are you!!!?"
"From his voice, this boy?"
Aqua remained calm and did not bully him at all.
"What is the demon race doing here?" ask Aqua calmly.
The boy was surprised, he could not answer Aqua's question. He looked at Aqua with annoyance and alertness, like a dog ready to bite at any moment.
"Ha~ah... I seem to be involved in troublesome matters, master."
Aqua sighed and complained to herself. He moved his hand, telling the boy to follow him.
"If you still want to live, follow me."
Aqua walked away without looking back, though doubtful the boy followed Aqua slowly. Aqua headed for the cave nearby, she entered and sat down. The demon boy sat not far from Aqua.
[ The camouflage ]
After the two of them entered, Aqua put up barrier magic and camouflage to make the cave invisible.
[ The Fire]
Aqua lights a fire with magic to keep the air warm. The boy silently watched Aqua. Aqua did not care at all about what the boy was doing. He took out a book from his small bag (inventory camouflage) and read it.
The boy was growing more wary of Aqua.
"You... Why help me? Why don't you ask me anything?!" ask her.
