The Dragon'S Blue Gem

The Dragon'S Blue Gem
Chapter 15 [Paying Army Guild]

"Eh?? But Yue wants to come!!" whinek Yue spoiled.

"Can't! Those mercenary guilds were many dangerous people. You stay here."

"But Aqua left... Why was Yue left behind?"

Aqua nearly burst out with a Yue Yang gaze that was about to cry. But he knew it was too dangerous for a child. Moreover, the child of Yue. There could be mercenaries who want to kidnap him.

"While I can definitely defeat him, there's no harm in keeping watch."

"I promise you, I'll be home later. We're going for a walk together and shopping, okay?"

"Uhh.. okay."

Aqua left Yue some books so that she would not get bored. Then he exited the inn and continued walking to the guild. Before going to the guild, Aqua walked into a small alley and changed her clothes. The previously beautiful clothes were changed with an all-black set with 2 purple daggers at the back. Not to forget Aqua also wears a white mask patterned with blue water droplets that are quite large.

As soon as the preparations were done, Aqua went back to the guild. Upon entering the guild, everyone's gaze was fixed on him. Everyone whispered insinuatingly and mocked the pedicure-looking Aqua. Without caring about it all, Aqua was only focused on the receptionist of the guild. A burly man guarded the receptionist.

"What are you looking for?" ask the man fiercely.

"This is not a place for children" he continued, observing Aqua from top to bottom.

The Aqua mask has the function of changing the voice and eye color, so the voice of Aqua sounds more masculine and mature. There was a rule in the guild, only people over 15 years old could become mercenaries.

"Don't worry, I'm a Half-elf. I'm older than you think" Aqua replied calmly. He's not completely lying. If his age is augmented by before reincarnation, Aqua is already 32 years old mentally.

"So? What does Half-elf need from this guild? Filing a mission or enrolling?"

"Not both. Just selling some monster carcasses. Even without becoming a mercenary, we can still sell it, right?"

"Huuffa."

The man spouted the cigarette smoke he sucked into Aqua's face. But Aqua did not budge at all.

"I didn't see you bring anything. Don't tell me what you're carrying is just a slime core or something."

"Don't underestimate me! I have a skill item box."

Skill item box is a low version of Aqua's inventory. If Aqua's inventory has no space and time restrictions in it, the item box is limited and time is still running.

"Hoho. All right, fill this up before you get it out."

The man handed him a piece of paper that had to be filled when selling the goods. Not much to ask for, just names and items to be sold.

Aqua filled the paper with the name "Valler" her pseudonym as well as the middle name her mother gave her. After filling up the paper, Aqua stretched out her hands and took out some monster carcasses.

So many issued Aqua, people to the point of having to pull over to give space. Many mercenaries were surprised by the quantity and quality of the monsters Aqua brought. Many of those monsters were high-level monsters. The man at the reception even dropped his cigarette.

"Oy oy! Isn't that too much?"

"Did he hunt her himself?"

"It can't be! Many high rank monsters. Someone must have helped him."

"People are very noisy. Stop babbling is unclear!" pissed Aqua.

"Wait a minute, if there is this much I should call the Guild Master," said the burly man.

"Ha~ah... What to do? It looks troublesome."

"of course! The monsters you brought are too many, and most are also high-level monsters."

The man walked to the back to call the Guild Master. Aqua looked for a chair for her to sit on, as it seemed that no one would want to sit next to her Aqua sitting on that pile of dead monsters. His legs raised one and his hands supported his face.

That pose looks cool to anyone who sees it. The female mercenaries were fascinated even though they did not know her face.

Before long, the man came out with the young green-haired beautiful woman of the Elf race.

"So there's another Elf here, huh."

"Son, are you the one who sold all those monsters?" asked the woman while twisting the old-fashioned cigarette in her hand.

"No one else here can," Aqua replied confidently.

Many were upset to hear it, but they realized that Aqua's words were real.

"Paymen here only up to rank B. There is no A or S. Your strength seems to be equivalent to rank A. I also saw a lot of magic marks on that monster. Are you a witch?"

"Is that your business?"

Aqua was upset that as soon as the woman called Aqua a witch, the mercenaries there were even more noisy about the arrival of the magician to the mercenary guild.

"No. But if you're a witch, the price you get will go up. Especially since those monsters were of good quality."

".... I'm a witch or it doesn't make any difference. Just pay for it and I'll be gone soon."

The woman smirked, she swung her cigarette. Some people came out and were busy judging those monsters. While waiting for the assessment to be completed, he invited Aqua over for a chat.

"I heard you're Half-elf. Is that true?"

"really. Why?"

"Who are your parents?"

"It's none of your business!"

"Are you sure? The Elf race's genes are powerful. If the partner is not less strong, the color of the eyes and hair should follow the Elf. But you have the dominant brown hair of humans, why? Do you really have Elf blood?"

"It's not my real hair."

"!"

"Hoho~ then what is your real hair color?"

"It's better not to find out something that doesn't matter."

Over time Aqua was very upset by the woman's introductions. Fortunately, the assessment was completed. The guild staff had already finished calculating the total money Aqua had earned.

One staff whispered something to the guild master. Upon hearing that, the Guild Master walked into a room and came out with one large bag filled with gold coins.

"It's money! In total there were 4000 gold coins and 750 small gold coins. You can check it out" the woman said as she passed the bag to Aqua.

"No need, I believe in the honesty of the guild's handling."

Aqua received the money bag. Many were surprised by the amount of money Aqua got, Aqua herself did not care much. He immediately left the guild without a word. To be honest the carcass Aqua handed over was not the best she had, plus it was not too much of the original number.

Seeing Aqua who was no longer in the guild, the woman smiled cunningly.

"I must report him to Her Majesty the Queen and the Princess. It's possible that the child is the one that the Princess is looking for."
