The Dragon's Bride

The Dragon's Bride
13. Donut O

Aunt Han stood excitedly in front of her restaurant. His face was sharp since this morning.

His head turned back and forth looking for a figure that had made his efforts even more advanced.

Until quite a long time ago the figure that awaited it appeared.

With Xu Liang, Aran walked on foot while his eyeballs were busy observing the bustle of the capital's streets.

Not forgetting his hand holding the upstream pliers. Favorite snack.

"Daughter! Princesses!" aunt Han's strangling was full of joy. The rather quaint woman immediately grabbed Aran's free arm and pulled him upstairs. Making Aran's steps stumble and several times almost upturned.

Upstairs in a quiet restaurant...

On one of the dining tables, a small chest was waiting. When it opened, ten gold bars glittered blindingly into the eyes of Aran and Xu Liang.

"This is a fifty percent gain, according to our agreement, princess." said Uncle Han with a smile looking at Aran and Xu Liang's unblinking faces with their mouths wide open.

"The sale of wheel bread is really very in demand. The recipe that the princess gave off brought great luck. Look..."

Aran looked downstairs, where many people were waiting in line to get O's donuts. Even the queue snared to the outside of the restaurant.

Aran could not say anything.

"The views that have happened have always been like this since the introduction of the new menu a few days ago" Han's aunt explained. "And there was always a crowd like this until the afternoon. We were overwhelmed by the customer. The stock of dough material was quickly depleted."

There were exhausted strokes on the faces of uncle and aunt Han. However, a pleasant fatigue.

Aran scratched his head that was not itchy. Heart grimaces. Between fun and also worry.

If Reya finds out I sold the Donut O recipe (the leading donut brand in country A in the millennium), I could get beat up. Inner Aran was crying bitterly.

Because before leaving, Reya had warned Aran not to make changes in any form. Because what happened in this ancient world was already outlined by the destiny of the heavens. They should not act impudently by mixing it up.

But, they obviously need money to be able to survive, even in this ancient era.

Ah, nevermind. Just one recipe. The anxiety seemed to just disappear. Replaced with the shadow of hundreds of falling gold bars.

What other recipes can I sell? Thought Aran without sin, pretending to forget his promise.

Both of Aran's eyeballs flickered brightly imagining the coffers he would get next.

With a trembling body, the girl desperately tried to break through the crowd of people along the way.

Many times his skinny legs were almost toppled over.

While passing through the crowd in front of Han's restaurant, the girl accidentally bumped into some people who were standing in line for O's donut.

"Hey! Where are your eyes, huh?!" shouted one man.

"Yeah! Don't be a queueing serobot!" the other sahut.

"Dui Bu Qi! Dui Bu Qi!" i-i'm sorry! i-i'm sorry!

The girl rubbed her palms while bowing her head many times.

Trying to get up limped, both his eyes rounded wide when looking back. His face paled even more, panic soon struck.

In a hurry, the girl immediately ran back even though her body felt like collapsing.

Glancing at a small alley beside the restaurant, the girl with hunting breath immediately turned and disappeared there.

Aran's forehead formed a frown instantly, strangely.

Especially when not for how long, a bunch of foreign men with bad faces ran while looking around with cruel gazes.

Breaking through the crowd violently. No matter the protests of the people.

"Damn it!" aspat is one of them. "We've lost track!"

"Surfing fast!" the other command.

In an instant, the vile-faced men spread out in all directions and disappeared into the crowd.

The frown on Aran's forehead deepened.

"Oh, Xu Liang." Aran nudged Xu Liang's arm intending to bite off his fifth O-donut.

"Hm?"

"We're sleeping here tonight."

"Again?!" screeched Xu Liang with puffed cheeks full of donuts.

Aran just grimaced. Shows his brilliant white teeth.

"Aish... how can you immediately find a great-grandfather if playing around like this continues." grumbled Xu Liang then went to see Uncle Han to ask permission to stay.

Aran's smile grew. Her face really looks adorable.

After Xu Liang died, Aran's smile disappeared instantly.

The existence of the grandfather according to Aran seems very mysterious. He did not find it in any archives in the library. It is free to go back to the government library.

Could it be that the existence of the grandfather did not exist in the first place!?

Or was it that grandfather wasn't in Tian kingdom? If so, where is Grandpa now?

Side Story's

Queen Sou Ra looked curiously at the box that Eunuch Li had just presented.

Two round objects with a hole in the middle. One applied butter cream, the smell was savory appetizing.

The one is studded with fine sugar powder. Colored like snow. Really invite the stomach to sound.

"Is this the wheel bread that has been in conversation for some time?"

Eunuch Li bowed. "Right be Your Majesty."

Attractively. Queen Sou Ra nodded once and then took O's shiny donut from the lumeran butter. Tweeted it once and. A burst of taste took hold of his mouth.

The combination of a not-so-sweet taste and savory salty butter is so harmonious and melted in the mouth. Very unique yet delicious.

Both of the Queen's eyeballs swerved wide. Quite surprised by the new taste in his tongue. After which, a joyful smile fell on her tiny lips.

"Isn't this really delicious, Ah Ma?"

Queen Sou Ra looked at the complicated-faced nanny with a perfect smile.

The old woman simply nodded stiffly, forcing herself to smile at the queen.

His face seemed to suffer. Struggling to hold another burst of taste in his mouth.

Heat and heat dominated his mouth. His throat was burning. Her face flushed.

You bastard son of a bitch! How dare I fill my wheelbread with chili!

Ah Ma's dark soul screamed bitterly.

Meanwhile at uncle Han's inn....

"Hatchuuu!"

"Are you okay, miss?" ask Xu Liang. The waiter stopped combing the master's hair.

"Did you get the flu? Should I call a healer?"

Aran shook his head loudly while rubbing his itchy nose.

"no need. Someone might be cursing me." The smile of the jail came out immediately.
