8. Stalkers

The strange feeling was undeniable, felt Reya since leaving the last city. The discomfort as well as the instinct to be vigilant was sent by all of his body senses.

Protecting Aran since he was young has become a must. For him, sensitivity to all situations is absolutely necessary.

He had been used to and trained with this since childhood, so Reya couldn't be wrong.

Something was lurking around him. Or... maybe something is... someone?!

The white horse cringed sharply as Reya pulled the reins firmly.

Reya's breath was slightly stung due to fatigue because all day he rode without rest. Maybe, it's time to find a place to rest, Reya thought. But, after he finished dealing with the stalker.

Reya stroked slowly the mane of the horse and then patted his back slowly as a form of gratitude because the white horse was not fussy at all during the trip.

"You're not at all good at hiding" Reya said in a loud voice, "Albino!"

General Liu is cursed by himself. Trying to blend in with the environment apparently still unable to trick the woman.

Reya smiled mockingly in the heart. Really a stupid guy. Hiding behind a tree in bright colors. Very contrast to the environment that tends to be dark. Moreover, silver hair that was left to be scattered freely danced by the wind. Of course it was camouflage that failed miserably.

Having been discovered, Liu chose to come out of hiding. He should have just sent his dark guard to follow the woman. Why did he even bother to go after her?!

At first it was the dark guards who were stalking. But according to their reports, Reya had no signs of returning home to the palace any time soon, as the girl continued to spur Bing Bing to the far southernmost tip of the territory. Hence, Liu Bei went alone to do the reconnaissance.

"Stole is certainly a despicable act, Miss Reya." Liu tried to hide his embarrassment by attacking the dark-clothed woman with the wrongs she had made.

"I didn't steal it. Just borrowed it." bela Reya. After all, he can run away, at the end of which he still has to go back to the capital to meet Aran. So, it could be said he was only half stealing, the other half borrowing. Because Reya did intend to return it once he returned to the capital.

"Stay still, miss. Stealing the general's horse is severe." Threaten Liu Bei without hesitation.

"Then just take back your obese horse. After all, my destination village is not far away anymore." Reya then took his supplies and carried them like a backpack. He was not afraid or hesitant to continue on foot.

Going to protest against Reya, Liu Bei did not find his figure beside Bing Bing. Bing Bing left alone in the middle of the road.

Spreading his gaze, Liu Bei saw Reya had already walked away even slashing the main road towards a leafy patch.

"Wait on! There it was.." Liu Bei's cry came to a halt as gravity pulled Reya's body rapidly disappearing downwards.

"Si4lan!" hiss Liu Bei while grinding his teeth.

His body immediately floated in the air with the science of lightening the body and following Reya down the abyss.

Hopefully it's not too late Liu Bei thought.

Side Story's

Liu Bei's hands were trembling. One hand on the branch holds the weight of two bodies. While the other hand restrains the body of the woman below so as not to fall into a deep enough abyss below.

What irritated Liu Bei was that one hand of Reya gripped his belt and another hand clasped tightly onto his hair, as if it were a rope.

And the girl's face grimaced with satisfaction as if it was a natural thing.

Truly a brash girl! sumpat Liu Bei in heart.

While Reya was very complacent because finally the dream to grab Liu Bei's silver mane materialized. Revenge was granted. Oh pleased.

However, seeing Liu Bei's increasingly pale albino face made Reya self-conscious.

While still smiling, Reya whispered. "I shouldn't be your burden." Reya took both hands into the air and let the earth welcome her.

Reya had seen a silver glint in both of those gray eyes. However, Reya closed her eyes. Prepare to bear pain in the back.

"Crazy woman!" hiss Liu Bei as Reya took off her hand.

Taking off his hand, Liu Bei tried to catch Reya's body quickly. Then dropped into the bushes while tightly clutching Reya's thin body.

After feeling safe, Liu Bei dared to open his arms and saw the woman who turned out to be a little girl curled up in her robe.

Something is wrong! This girl did not open her eyes at all!

Panic ambush. Liu Bei immediately checked if there were any serious injuries on Reya's body and head. Although it is still doubtful that the girl is the descendant of the Queen, of course, do not let her safety threatened in a land that is still foreign to the girl.

If the girl dies, the business could be even longer. Especially if faced with a royal council that makes Liu Bei lazy.

As the panic had not subsided, Liu Bei's ears caught a subtle snoring.
