The Dragon's Bride

The Dragon's Bride
17. The Salty Rain Water

Suddenly General Ryu got up with a stiff jaw.

"How dare a damned brat like you druggle me!"

The creepy noise suddenly shrunk Aran's guts. Let alone Xu Liang, his face instantly deathly pale in hiding.

"A..ku...ugh.." Aran's voice instantly disappeared as General Ryu's hand gripped stronger on his neck.

Both Aran's hands firmly gripped General Ryu's wrists around his neck, trying to maintain balance. While both of his legs he moved back and forth, trying to kick the muscular man's chest to let go of his giggling.

However, it seems so difficult. Because Aran is losing his breath.

"General, forgive servant lady, she did not mean to." yelled Xu Liang as he ran over, trying to help his master. And...

"Shelf!" xu Liang's body immediately slammed and fell into a small closet and dropped some ornaments.

The side effects of Xu Liang's shout made Ryu's grip on the neck loosen.

Aran coughed while holding his somewhat sick da.danya. His nose breathed voraciously into the air around.

However, both of his eyeballs dodged heavily when he found out his loyal servant was thrown injured.

"Yeahawk! What did you do to my servant!" of course Aran was wrathful to see Xu Liang being thrown away just like that. Especially until the plain waiter grimaced in pain.

Wanting to avenge General Ryu's treatment, Aran prepared to throw a fist with his tiny hand. However, he had not had time to move, one sturdy arm clamped his neck back and lifted him high.

Again, Aran was out of breath. Struggling, trying hard to breathe oxygen.

Aran's body grew weaker when he heard the sound of hasty footsteps.

"General! I heard a commotion. What was.." Ming Ge's words instantly came to a halt as his visiting general walked out of the tent with a check in his hand.

Princess Phoenix?!

Ming Ge's face mixed between bewildered and surprised.

What the hell is going on?! Why is the Phoenix princess in the general's tent?! What is this smell from inside the tent?!

Not even Ming Ge voiced what was in his brain, the sound of a loud bedebum stomping his concentration.

"BROUCHES!"

Aran falls to the ground as a result of the sadistic throwing of General Ryu. One of his forehead was spitting out a bit of blood from the impact with the rough stone.

Xu Liang let out a panicked scream and immediately ran towards Aran and helped him get up.

"Miss! You okay?"

Aran nodded weakly, trying to straighten his back even though it felt like the whole body was crushed by the throw of General Ryu.

"Ming Ge!" general Ryu shouted loudly.

Flinched, Ming Ge hurriedly faced while bowing his head.

"Jen... The general?!"

"What is the punishment for an intruder?"

Ming Ge's brain still felt empty jumping.

"Ming Ge!!" the clap made Ming Ge's voice tremble.

"Fifty lashes."

"And what is the punishment for someone who put incense on the general's tent?!"

Ming Ge's two eyeballs widened in disbelief. Looking at Aran helplessly.

"Punishment of the whip a hundred times." he hissed.

At that moment Xu Liang prostrated himself until his forehead hit the ground. Begging for forgiveness for her mistress.

Aran's mind is still empty. Trying to digest the surroundings. Even when two guards carried each arm and tied it to two pillars.

*****

"Nineteen!"

"Cool!"

"Twenty!"

"Cool!"

"Iish..." Aran bit his lower lip with all his might. Trying hard to withstand the pain due to torn back skin.

Fresh blood immediately poured from the new tear.

"General! Please, stop!" xu Liang's screams still continued to prostrate. Her tears never stopped flowing.

The hand of Ming Ge who was holding the whip was increasingly trembling. Especially when the blood on Aran's back flowed.

Scratches of fear emanated as Ming Ge glanced at General Ryu who was sitting upright with a face as cold as granite. The aura of the monster still exuded clearly from its body.

He was eager to beg the general to stop this punishment, because he knew Aran was beginning to lose consciousness.

"What are you waiting for Ming Ge?" general Ryu's eyes are sharpened. "Continue!"

"General!" Xu Liang screamed. "Please stop! Forgive nonaku!" puddles of tears had already drenched the two plain servants cheeks.

"Ming Ge!" the cold tone warned again.

"Daughter. forgive me." whispered Ming Ge full of regret.

"Cool!"

"Twenty-one!" shouted one guard.

"Cool!"

"Twenty-two!"

Aran grimaced while biting his lower lip tightly until it bled. His eyes are starting to fade. His consciousness is beginning to erode.

"I just like you." whispered Aran slowly. His eyeballs looked at General Ryu nanar. "Why is this sick?"

Slowly Aran began to close both his eyeballs with both corners dripping clear granules.

"Cool!"

"Just...!!" Aran spouted fresh blood from his mouth. His head is down.

"Miss!" Xu Liang screeched. The girl painstakingly got up and ran towards her drooping nona helplessly.

Many times Xu Liang shook Aran's body, but there was no response at all. Making Xu Liang even more panicked.

"Miss, awake! Please! Don't scare me." Xu Liang's cries broke again.

Ming Ge's body trembled.

What if he had killed the Phoenix princess?!

He could be punished by the gods.

Ming Ge glanced at General Ryu. His gaze was full of pleas to end this punishment.

However, the reply to General Ryu's stern gaze was more electrifying to Ming Ge's soul and body.

Ming Ge was again helpless.

Again forgive me princess. Ming Ge was full of regret.

With a firm heart, Ming Ge raised his crest up high. Prepare to smear him again.

As the tip of the whip began to swing in the air, suddenly the sky turned bright in a second, followed by a great thunderous sound that shocked everything.

"DUARRR!!!" The thunder was thunderous. Stiff and deafen the ears.

Everyone was stunned, not least General Ryu.

All eyes looked up at the sky, towards the dozens of black cloud scrolls that suddenly came and encompassed Tian.

A few flashes followed by thunder boomed out and alternated twitching of each other.

That strange and sudden phenomenon made everyone whisper to each other and ask. Because for the past few years, the rainy season seemed reluctant to approach Tian. Even so, underground water sources remain abundant.

In essence, the Tian country never lacked water supply, although it rarely rained.

Before long, small clear spots began to fall from the sky. Still, make everything stupefied.

Especially general Ryu. The general stood up and narrowed his eyes. He seemed familiar with this kind of situation.

Long ago. Once before.

However, Xu Liang's shrill voice took back his consciousness.

"General!" Xu Liang shouted. "My son is helpless. Please, stop the punishment." lamented Xu Liang in an increasingly hoarse voice as he continued to shout from earlier.

"Let the servant bring the miss to be treated." shouted Xu Liang again. This time Xu Liang bowed his head until he touched the ground which began to blacken wetly.

"Hamba promised to keep the lady away from you. And will prevent the lady from returning to this camp. Please general!" Xu Liang got up with his back straight, but his legs were still tight.

"Let me bring the lady to be treated." Xu Liang again bowed until his forehead smelled the ground that had already turned into mud as the drizzle began to turn into heavy rain.

"The general..." Ming Ge looked at his lord with an imploring look. He no longer wanted to stiffen the bloody whip, and Ming Ge then threw it into the wet ground.

The man nodded and begged.

Silent. The general's jaw is still hardened. However, given the kindness of queen Sou Ra, General Ryu finally nodded and looked back at the black clouds above him.

"Thank you general." Ming Ge and Xu Liang stared at each other for a while as they said the same thing together.

The two then stand up and begin to untie Aran's hand and break him into the train.

When the train Aran was away that, the rain turned increasingly heavy.

Side Story's'

"General, the rain..." Ming Ge asked carefully.

General Ryu raised one hand hinting for Ming Ge to be silent.

Ming Ge also flinched.

General Ryu raised his face to the sky. Her clothes have been soaked since.

Slowly but surely, General Ryu began to open his mouth slightly, letting the raindrops fall down on his tongue.

Salted.

Then the general closed his eyes. Fondling at what he just smelled.

At last.

Queen Sou Ra looked on in turn. Between the small cup filled with water in his hand and the face of Ah Ma who was looking at him seriously.

Ah Ma nodded with confidence even though his face had been pale since earlier.

Queen Sou Ra sipped water on the cup. The taste of salt dominated his tongue.

Both the Queen's eyes were wide. Surprise dominated her tiny face.

"Do you think General Ryu already knows?"

Ah Ma nodded. "It should have been, Your Majesty."

Queen Sou Ra nodded her head. Then saying.

"Immediately issue a search warrant!"

"The bride of the fire dragon must be found immediately."

Ah Ma bowed respectfully then resigned his resignation.
