The Dragon Sword Heir

The Dragon Sword Heir
Episode 10: The legacy of the Dragon God.

With a calm heart, Li Tian reached out toward the energy crystal. There was a gentle tremor as gleaming energy flames entered into it. He felt energy fill his body, giving him strength he had never felt before.

The Dragon who had helped Li Tian train, suddenly turned to give him a sword.

The sword that came from the Dragon had a long and shining blade, with a golden light. The handle of his sword was made of strong wood with intricate and beautiful ornaments. Li Tian looked at the sword in admiration. He could feel a powerful and fiery energy emanating from it.

With a thumping heart, Li Tian extended his hand to grasp the sword handle. He felt a warmth flowing through his body as he touched the sword. It was like there was an unspoken connection between him and the sword.

Without hesitation, Li Tian again pulled the sword out of its sheath and put on a ready-to-fight position. The sword responded deftly in Li Tian's hands, as if it had a life of its own. The golden light increasingly emanating from the sword filled the room with dazzling power and magic.

After obtaining the sword, the Dragon God said it would start training Li Tian about Qi cultivation.

Li Tian nodded enthusiastically and sat down before the Dragon God. So far, Li Tian had only mastered martial arts, sword, and elemental strength. But it's actually already quite incredible.

The Dragon God began to explain the basic principles of Qi cultivation to Li Tian.

"First of all, Li Tian you need to understand that Qi is a vital force that exists within our bodies. Cultivation Qi aims to circulate and control that Qi with the intention to increase our physical and spiritual strength,” explained the Dragon God.

Li Tian listened seriously, noting down every word spoken by the Dragon God. Then, the Dragon God continued. "The first step in Qi cultivation is learning proper breathing techniques. By properly regulating your breathing, you can collect and control Qi more effectively."

The Dragon God then taught Li Tian about a breathing technique called "Dragon Breath". This technique involves taking long, slow deep breaths, and exhaling them steadily. Li Tian followed the instructions closely, practicing the breathing technique with great seriousness.

After they felt Li Tian had grasped the basics of breathing techniques, the Dragon God continued by teaching the basic movements in Qi cultivation. Li Tian watched carefully every move shown by the Dragon God and practiced it over and over again, until he was comfortable with those movements.

The Dragon God trained Li Tian every day, monitoring his progress and providing improvements where necessary. Li Tian was diligent and persistent in his practice trying hard to improve his breathing technique and improve his control over Qi.

As time passed, Li Tian began to feel a change in him. His physical strength and endurance increased and he felt more focused and calm in his mind. He could even feel the Qi currents flowing within his body giving him a sensation he had never felt before.

The Dragon God was happy to see Li Tian's progress and gave praise for his hard work. "Li Tian you have shown incredible persistence and perseverance. I am sure that by continuing to practice this Qi cultivation, you will become a strong and formidable person,” the Dragon God said proudly.

After teaching everything to Li Tian, the Dragon God said that he would rest in the sword he had given Li Tian.

The Dragon said Li Tian could increase his Qi cultivation by joining a sect.

Li Tian fell silent for a moment considering the offer. Joining a sect could give him access to priceless resources and guidance. However, it will also bring obligation and attachment to a group.

After thinking for a moment Li Tian finally nodded. "In this journey towards higher cultivation I want to look for all the opportunities available. Perhaps I will be willing to join the sect as per the suggestion."

The Dragon smiled and nodded. "Alright, Li Tian. Now it's up to you to go ahead."

It did not feel like much time had passed as long as Li Tian trained under the guidance of the Dragon God. Li Tian had already left the dragon cave and was thinking of visiting Wanping City for a bit, before he left to join a sect.

The Dragon God who had now entered into the sword, he said he would not be able to temporarily communicate with Li Tian because he wanted to rest.

Without hesitation, Li Tian leaped down from his horse and ran up to the girl. He sped up his pace to reach the girl faster than his stalkers. Quickly, he picked up his sword hanging on his waist.

When Li Tian got near the girl, he blocked his path by waving his sword. "Stop!" he said in a loud voice, trying to intimidate the stalkers.

Despite being shocked by Li Tian's arrival, the stalkers still did not retreat. They laughed cynically and immediately attacked with their weapons. Li Tian swiftly fought them one by one, moving so fast that it was barely visible to the eyes.

The girl who from the beginning had only stood still and was shocked, started to gather courage and help Li Tian. He picked up small stones in the street and threw them at the stalkers. Although the action looked trivial, but it was enough to confuse them and give Li Tian extra time in the fight.

In a short period of time, Li Tian managed to finish off the stalkers one by one. After successfully defeating everything, Li Tian looked towards the girl and said "Are you okay?"

The girl nodded weakly. "Thank you for the help. I'm really grateful."

Li Tian smiled. "No need to thank me. I just do what I have to do."

The girl looked at Li Tian with a gaze full of admiration. "You are really brave and strong. Who are you really?"

Li Tian nodded respectfully. "My name is Li Tian. I'm just an ordinary warrior on his way to Wanping City. How's yours?"

The girl smiled. “It just so happens that I am also heading to Wanping City," he told Li Tian.

Li Tian nodded politely. "Oh so. It seems we can go together,” he said with a smile.

The girl replied with a friendly smile. "Yes, that must be a lot of fun. Maybe we can explore the city together."

Li Tian agreed with the idea. "Of course, it would be a good opportunity to get to know each other."

Then, Li Tian asked him why he could be alone and chased around by the group of black-clothed men.

The girl replies that she is Xia Mei, the daughter of the Xia merchant family. However, his father had died recently in an accident. After his father's death, he has no family left and decides to continue his father's trading venture alone.

However some time ago, a group of black-clothed men came looking for Xia Mei. They confess that his father owes them a large debt and they want to pay off the debt by robbing the Xia family business. Xia Mei refused and tried to escape, but the group of men continued to chase after her.

Li Tian heard the story feeling empathetic and felt moved to help Xia Mei.

Xia Mei was very beautiful. She was wearing a dress made of soft pink silk. The dress adorned her body like a living art. Her long, pitch-black hair, beautifully scattered behind her back. His brown eyes glittered with the warmth and joy that always radiated from him.

Every time Xia Mei walked, her steps were meek and graceful, as if she was hovering above the clouds. Every movement of her body looked so graceful and delicate, as if she were a dancer in a dream.

Then, Li Tian and Xia Mei continued on their way towards Wanping City.

Seriate.
