The Dragon Sword Heir

The Dragon Sword Heir
Episode 18: Learn to concoct medicine to cultivate.

With his sharp eyes the eagle continues to pay attention to the movements of its prey who are running on the grass field. He concentrated and chose the right moment to attack.

After a while of lurking, the eagle finally decided to attack. With steady and quick steps he launched himself from the top of the sky towards the bottom reaching his prey with his sharp claws.

Its prey, shocked by the attack, tried to dodge but the eagle had tightly locked its target. Without mercy, the eagle plunges its prey to the ground and conquers it.

Seeing that the eagle's prey was helpless, Li Tian realized in any world it was always the same. He is concerned about the helpless state of the prey, but at the same time, he realizes that wildlife cares little about compassion or justice.

In his relentless pursuit to become stronger, Li Tian often saw various kinds of battles in the wild. He witnessed how predators hunt their prey without mercy, how power hierarchies inevitably flourish in every ecosystem. This was the same in the martial world that he had been wading all this time. If Li Tian was weak, he would not be able to survive.

However, despite the unjust violence and justice happening in this world, Li Tian could not help but feel compassion in his heart. He felt that as a human being he had a responsibility to use his power to protect the weak.

Li Tian observed the eagle's prey empathetically, realizing it to be a living creature that was also seeking its survival.

On the way home, Li Tian began to think about the importance of justice and wise strength. He decided to devote his life to protecting the weak and bringing justice to this world.

In the days to come, Li Tian was determined to improve his various martial techniques and strengthen his body. He also learned about the legal system and how to help the poor and oppressed.

Currently, Li Tian had already managed to gather the plants he needed to concoct new pills. Li Tian decided to go to the Alchemist Union to get the other ingredients that were still lacking.

The Alchemist Union was a gathering of chemists who had the knowledge and skills in concocting potions and lucky drinks.

However, on the way Li Tian saw a girl was fighting with some unknown men. Li Tian knew the girl, she was Qin Yu’er, a fellow disciple of the Blue Sky Sect.

Li Tian ran over to the place of the fight and immediately involved himself in the fight. He used his skills in martial arts to incapacitate some of the unknown men. With quick and skillful movements, Li Tian was able to overcome his opponents easily.

After the fight ended Qin Yu'er was panting heavily, smiling when she saw Li Tian coming to her rescue. "Thank you, Li Tian. I don't know what I would do without you,” Qin Yu'er said in a weak voice.

Li Tian grabbed Qin Yu'er's hand and smiled warmly. "It's my duty as a fellow disciple of the Blue Sky Sect to protect each other. Are you all right?"

Qin Yu'er nodded her head. "I'm doing fine. Thanks for your help."

“Who are they?" li Tian asked curiously looking at the few men who were still lying on the ground after being defeated by Li Tian.

“Those from other Sects who want to snatch the sword the temple guards gave me," replied Qin Yu’er.

“Why are they so eager to get that sword?” li Tian asked as he helped Qin Yu'er up.

Qin Yu'er sighed. "This sword is an extremely valuable spiritual artifact. Reportedly this sword has enormous power and can increase one's cultivation. That was why many sects wanted to master it."

Li Tian muttered to himself. "It's really dangerous. If this sword force were to fall into the wrong hands, it could be disastrous for the cultivation world."

Qin Yu'er nodded in agreement. "Therefore, I thank you for your help. Without your help I don't know what will happen to this sword."

Li Tian smiled gently. "Don't worry, I'll always be by your side protecting you."

Li Tian and Qin Yu'er looked at each other, knowing that this was only the beginning of the challenge they faced to keep this sword safe. However, they are ready to face it together as partners and protectors of each other.

Then, Li Tian invited Qin Yu’er to come with him to visit the Alchemist Union.

Upon arriving there, after introducing Qin Yu'er to some members of the Alchemist Union, Li Tian brought Qin Yu'er to his study in the Alchemist Union. The space was filled with colorful alchemical tools and materials, making it an interesting and magical place.

Li Tian offered Qin Yu'er the drink he had provided at his desk. Qin Yu'er politely accepted the drink and sat down on the available seats. In a comfortable state, they began to speak.

"Qin Yu'er you must be wondering why I brought you to the Alchemist Guild. I want to invite you to join us,” Li Tian said excitedly.

Qin Yu'er looked at Li Tian in confusion. "But I'm not an alchemist, how can I join the Alchemist Union?"

Li Tian smiled consolingly. "It's okay! The Alchemist Union provided comprehensive training for each of its members. You will learn from experts and have the opportunity to develop your abilities."

Qin Yu'er thought for a moment. He was honored to be offered the chance to join the Alchemist Union, but he also felt doubtful about his skills in alchemy. Yet when he saw Li Tian's excited countenance, he felt interested to see what he could learn and achieve in the Alchemist Guild.

"Alright I'm interested in your offer,” Qin Yu'er said at last. "But I hope you can help me catch up with my alchemy and guide me on this journey."

Li Tian smiled with satisfaction. "Of course, Qin Yu'er! I will be your mentor and help you reach your potential in alchemy. Together we will create a miracle!"

With that decision, the two of them laid out a plan to begin Qin Yu'er's training in the Alchemist Union. They would start from the basics and expected Qin Yu'er to master alchemy well.

“Alright, Qin Yu'er, I will show you first how to concoct a good pill to help cultivate," Li Tian said.

Li Tian took some natural ingredients like herbs and minerals from his desk. He explained one by one the ingredients to Qin Yu'er.

"First of all, we need some herbs that can help increase the energy and vitality of qi in the body,” Li Tian said as he pointed to the herbs he had prepared.

Qin Yu'er looked at the materials carefully. Some of his names were familiar to him because he had used some herbs in the medicinal practices he had studied. However, there were also some materials that were still unfamiliar to him and made him feel curious.

Li Tian then opened several bottles containing minerals such as powders and extracts that had high spiritual energy. "This is an additional ingredient that will strengthen and speed up your cultivation process,” he explained to Qin Yu'er. "I get them from natural sources rich in spiritual energy."

Qin Yu'er looked with enthusiasm at the ingredients. "Looks so complex,” he said. "Is there a special rule in concocting these pills?"

"Yes, of course,” replied Li Tian. "When concocting pills there are some important steps that must be followed carefully. First, we have to clean and clean the ingredients one by one. Then, there must be the right proportion in mixing these ingredients. After that, we will begin the process of solidifying and drying the pill. And lastly, make sure the finished pill is not contaminated by outside air."

Qin Yu'er listened carefully and recorded each step described by Li Tian. "That's what the process of concocting pills for cultivation practice looks like" Li Tian said. "This will help improve your cultivation ability quickly and effectively."

Qin Yu'er was interested in trying to concoct pills on her own after seeing Li Tian's seriousness and profound knowledge in this matter. "Thank you for the explanation,” he said excitedly. "I will try to concoct these pills carefully and thoroughly."

Li Tian smiled with satisfaction. "Great! Do not forget to study and practice diligently in your cultivation. I'm sure you'll make incredible progress."
