The Elbow of Love Willing Ring

The Elbow of Love Willing Ring
011 - Finding Solutions

"Sir Hadian, why did my grandfather come here? Didn't I tell you not to let my grandfather know?"

Arun whispered towards Pak Hadian who was beside him. He really had to hold back his feelings of regret to the family lawyer. Arun himself plans to ask Mr. Hadian for help to solve this problem without the need to be known by the grandfather.

"Arun, I and Mr. Sutopo were discussing together, suddenly you called like that" said Mr. Hadian in a low voice.

Arun mengelik huffled, especially when the grandfather, Mr. Sutopo, who has a fierce face with a gray beard is always neatly arranged, as well as his hair has been partially whitened.

The man in his seventies was walking straight even though he had to be helped by a shiny teak wood stick with accessories in the form of dark blue agate stone which was also shiny on the handle.

Arun was silent to see his grandfather knocking the stick to the floor. A bad sign that has been recorded in his memory. When he was a child, if his grandfather had tapped the stick on the floor, it could have floated towards him even before he had a chance to blink his eyelids.

"Grandpa! I-I can explain! I can explain everything!" Arun immediately spoke before his grandfather raised the wand.

"Speak clearly!" sue Mr. Sutopo.

Viona gasped in shock at the sound of heavy thundering. The old man's aura was really intimidating and made everyone really scared, not least his grandson who had looked relaxed now shriveled like a rat in a sewer.

Arun gulped his saliva, he really had to think fast. How do I explain all this to my grandfather?

Caught wet for allegedly making perverts with a woman has clearly tarnished the good name of her family.

Giving a true explanation would be no one would believe it if it had been caught red-handed like this.

Asking for evidence that he is being framed will certainly be very difficult if the perpetrator who set him up turns out to be accusing Arun back.

He had to quickly think of something that would certainly save him for now.

"Ehem, Grandpa, this is really just a misunderstanding" Arun said.

"It's wrong, it's still in the act" said a policeman who was so fatigued.

"Wrong?" ask Mr. Sutopo to the police. "What does that mean?"

"Yes, your granddaughter is wrong! Doing shit in the wrong place! But still give up!" the police are getting tired.

Viona glares furiously at the fat-bellied julid cop who must have been deliberately looking for trouble.

What Sutopo said is true! This must be just a misunderstanding! Inner Viona.

"Why should I pervert my own lover? We'll get married soon!" sahut Arun with his ease.

Not yet had Viona to reply, suddenly Arun immediately embraced Viona's shoulder.

Arun could see everyone was flabbergasted hearing his confession. False confessions that must be taken because they are pressed by circumstances.

"Su-Sutopo, w-what do you mean?" whispered Viona.

"You'd better shut up if you want to survive" said Arun, who also whispered.

...*****...

Viona actually felt unusually tense upon entering a restaurant where she got a sudden lunch invitation from her grandfather Sutopo.

The man had really plunged Viona into trouble that seemed to be even bigger. Especially when the man claims to be Viona's lover and they will get married.

Why would Arun lie like that? And why should his lies go that far?

Viona immediately sat down on the chair beside Arun, opposite Pak Sutopo who was sitting in front of them.

"So, how long have you been in contact?" ask Mr. Sutopo.

"Grandfather, it doesn't matter how long we've been in contact, after all, we've been serious" Arun said.

Viona really doesn't know what to do. Why is this man's lie becoming more and more common? Why can't he be honest with his grandfather?

"So, when are you getting married?" ask Mr. Sutopo again.

Viona looked towards Arun who was still putting on a relaxed expression despite continuing to lie.

"Quickly! Soon, Grandpa!" sahut Arun quickly.

Viona snorted riled, another lie that came back. That is, when lying once, will certainly bring up other lies.

"Are you pregnant?" ask Mr. Sutopo towards Viona. "How many months?"

"Grandfather, is getting pregnant a reason to get married?" cut Arun.

"Huh! What is the reason someone suddenly gets married if they are not pregnant? Didn't you yourself even refuse to get married when grandfather arranged a match for you?"

Mr. Sutopo's question was so sharp, Viona could only glance at Arun who still kept a relaxed expression.

"Grandfather, I don't want to be betrothed! I told you I'd marry the woman I chose myself! And, this is the woman I mean!"

Arun re-embraced Viona's shoulder and rubbed Viona's head. Viona was amused, she chuckled and then pushed slowly the man's hand.

"Hehe," Viona chuckled.

Lied enough! You liar man!

"So, Grandpa has no reason to oppose our marriage because this is my responsibility" Arun said.

Mr. Sutopo did not appear to speak anymore, his eyebrows furrowed in rhythm with the wrinkles on his forehead. The old man was clearly hiding anger. Anger that he could not escape because it was impossible for him to beat his grandson in front of his future granddaughter's wife.

Mr. Sutopo got out of his seat. The man left without saying anything more with the two bodyguards who were always standing by his side.

"Sutope!"

Viona hit the man beside her hard.

"Ouch!" Arun complained while rubbing his arm many times.

"Are you crazy? Why are you lying like that?! If you were a pinocchio, your nose would be along the equator!" viona spray.

"Hey! You are so ungrateful! I lied like this for our common good!"

"I've asked my grandfather's lawyer to help solve this problem! Starting from the request to bring down all the news that has been viral on social media, to legal issues that apply!" hatchlings.

"And now all you have to do is you have to help me make all my lies come true!"

"What-what?!" Viona flabbergasted. "Why should I help you?"

"Of course I should! You are also involved in this matter, so you must take responsibility! You must marry me!"

"N-no! I don't want to! I don't want to marry you, Sutopo!" sergeant Viona.

"You have no choice but to refuse! Or you'd rather the viral news get back on social media and everyone will finally know that you're the pervert!" said the man lightly.
