THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME

THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME
Offers From Unexpected Parties

"I need something simple, something that can blend in with the crowd without attracting too much attention" Zachary replied. "I don't mind the car brand, and the price range should be around 150,000 to 250,000 NOK. Do you have any advice for me?"

"With that kind of budget, you can definitely get a good new engine" Ryan said with a smile at Zachary. "But you can even get better at second hand. Would you like to consider a used car?"

"No," Zachary replied, shaking his head. "I'll go with the new one." He already had over 700,000 NOKs deposited in his bank account. Sometimes, he was confused as to how to use his savings. The monthly salary plus bonus was already equal to the money he could use for ten years in his previous life. So, he considered spending a part of it to buy a good car would be a good outlet for cash from his bank account.

"Okay, then," Ryan said after a while. "May I suggest we go with Audi, then? Since you need something that blends in with the crowd, it will be the best car for you in Trondheim. But you may have to add about 50K NOK to your budget to get a new one.one from the booth here in Trondheim. What say?"

"Audi is fine with me," Zachary agreed after considering the matter for a moment. "Adding 50K to my budget doesn't matter either. But, how long do you need to find it?"

"If the budget can be added, there is no need to beat around the bush" Ryan said with a grin. "I have a couple of colleagues at the Autosport car dealership and Muller Bil. They are an outlet with a diverse collection of cars when it comes to Audi and Volkswagen. I can even contact them now, and we can go straight there. That's if you're ready, of course." He added, looking at Zachary excitedly.

Zachary returned his smile. "I had no other plans today" he said, then turned toward Emily. "What about you?" He asked her.

"I'm only in Trondheim because of you" Emily replied, beaming. "Wherever you go, I go. Don't mind me."

"Then, let's end this today because I'm going to continue serious training tomorrow" Zachary said, turning towards Ryan. "I have to finish this car business quickly. I hope we don't have to spend the rest of the day looking at the car."

"Don't worry" said Ryan, his eyes glittering. "As long as you have the funds, getting a vehicle here in Trondheim is quite simple and does not take much time. We will complete the entire business before you even know it. Let me call them first so they can be ready for us." He said, stand up and get away from the table.

"He doesn't look like a race car driver" Zachary told Emily as soon as Ryan wasn't heard from again.

"Don't worry" Emily replied. "He's one of them, and I trust him, especially when it comes to cars. I'm sure he'll give you something nice. You have to remember this because you are now the star to come. If you can get a skilled person to do your bidding by spending a little money, feel free." - If you want to."

He smiled gently, holding Zachary's gaze before continuing. "That's why I'm completely against you handling vehicle purchases yourself. Just imagine spending days looking at a car dealership when there is someone who can do it in a few hours for a small fee. It is not worth the time.be better—spent for practice or rest. That's how celebrities. They don't waste time on any minor issues—but get people to do it for them. So you have to get used to it. Do you understand? "

"I understand" replied Zachary. "Why do you two seem so familiar, yet it seems like she's been living in Norway for a long time?"

"He's from London" Emily replied. "I've known him for a long time since we lived in the same neighborhood. He just moved on to find an easier race. That's why he's here in Norway, I think."

"Oh, okay," replied Zachary.

"By the way," said Emily, leaning forward and looking at Zachary once more. "The BetNet Company has increased their offer of support agreement to us. They have increased it from 6 to 8.5 million Norwegian Kroner a year."

"Oh," said Zachary, his eyes widened. "They were quite quick to respond and looked very sincere. They're supposed to think that we're playing cards that are hard to come by."

"But I still insist that we wait a little while before trying to negotiate with them" Emily said, her voice condescending. "I'll ask someone to check it out first."

"As far as you are" Zachary replied with a smile. "To be honest, I don't really need the money right now. What I got was enough. So, let's take a moment and wait until I establish myself here in Norway. Then we can get a better offer. "

"My thoughts are exactly," said Emily, smiling back at Zachary. "I'm happy to wait as long as it's okay with you. Let's work on your public image first. And that reminds me. We've got to set up some social media pages for you to communicate with your fan base. But for now, a Twitter account should be enough."

"Oh," Zachary said with a wry smile.

"It seems you are against the idea!" Emily investigated, raising an eyebrow.

"Little bit" said Zachary. "I'm a footballer, not a poet or a politician. What will I post? Match my video to my appearance! Looks cheesy and wrong in some way."

Emily chuckles at hearing that. "Don't worry," he said. "You don't have to post about yourself or your personal life. You can post anything that makes you comfortable and does not take up much of your time, even if it's the Tippeligaen table standings or the Rosenborg match schedule. It will help you maintain a close relationship with your fans. And close relationships with your fans make more money from endorsements."

"OK," Zachary agreed, nodding.

"Are you kidding me?" Zachary said, his eyes turning. "It's a social media account, not space science!"

"OK, okay," said Emily, raising her hand as a calming gesture. "I don't mean to offend but just try to be a good agent. I should be able to help my client with anything he does not understand. That is especially if my client may not have an active email address at this time. " He added jokingly.

"I have an email," Zachary said, shaking his head. "I opened one when I applied for my Schengen residence permit."

"Oh," said Emily, her face beaming. "Then I have to find time to thank the Norwegian immigration authorities for helping my client."

Zachary shook his head and replied with another answer in a joking manner. The two of them continued to mince words for a few more minutes until Ryan Bellmore came back from calling.

"Well, how did it go?" Emily asked after Ryan sat down on the chair beside her once more.

"Things changed that I didn't expect" Ryan replied, beaming at Emily and Zachary in turn. "You'll never guess what happened."

"Tell us," said Emily, her voice filled with impatience. "You know I hate tension the most."

Ryan smiled at her once more. "I've spoken to one of my acquaintances in Muller Bil," he began. "I just asked him to help me get a vehicle for my client at a price range we agreed on. He then asked the details of the person who needed the vehicle. When I mentioned that it was a Rosenborg player, and that player was Zachary Bemba, I would never have guessed how things improved in an instant." He grinned, pausing for a moment, perhaps to build up some tension.

"Do you want me to pull that ear?" Emily said while frowning.

"OK, okay," Ryan recited, his hand raised in a calming manner. "When my acquaintance heard that Zachary Bemba, Rosenborg number-33, who needed a vehicle, he called the dealer manager. I guess the dealership manager quickly called an Audi marketing guy here in Trondheim. In just a short time.a few minutes, the dealer connected me to that marketing guy..." He spoke the words at a pace that rivaled Eminem, the hip-hop star, as he described his phone call.

"Can you get straight to the point?" Emily interrupts, stopping her verbal flow.

Ryan smiled in embarrassment before continuing. "I talked to an Audi marketing guy here in Trondheim for quite a while. He said that their car company wants to work with Zachary to promote their brand in Norway. He asked me to ask you to meet, and he promised that if you agree, then there's no need to bother paying for the vehicle."

"That was quite surprising" said Emily, staring at Ryan curvilinearly. "And I think they promised you something in return. That's if you can get Zachary to sit with them. Don't you?"

"I didn't start anything" said Ryan, smiling wryly. "I just called asking for a vehicle in the 200K to 300K NOK price range. The entire endorsement business came from their side."

"Don't worry" said Emily. "I understand. So, are they hinting about the kind of offer they want to give Zachary?"

"No," Ryan replied as he shook his head. "They just asked me to arrange a meeting with Zachary's side. They didn't give me any details. Dude! What do you think? Will you consider, or should I continue to look for vehicles in our price range?" He asked, turning his head from side to side to glance at Emily and Zachary a few times.

"Zachary," said Emily after a while. "What do you think?"

"I have no problem sitting at the table with them" Zachary said as he looked at Emily. "From my understanding, Audi is one of the most popular brands in Norway. So, there is no harm in seeing their offers. Don't you?"

"Right, my mind," replied Emily, a gentle smile adorning her face. "Let's meet them for a minute and see what they say. Leave the negotiations to me."

"It's good, you guys," said Ryan, embracing Emily's shoulder. "I think it's good. You're gonna love it." He grinned from ear to ear, his blue eyes seemed to sparkle with excitement.

"Why do you seem more excited than the person who receives an offer of support?" Emily asked, removing the arm from her shoulder.

"It's a good feeling to start a deal" Ryan said, still beaming. "There's nothing. Should we move? My car—park near Trondheim Torg if we need to use it. I can call Audi's guys while we're on our way."

"OK," said Zachary, chugging the rest of his cherry juice. "Let's move on and see what these Audi guys are saying."
