THE HEIR

THE HEIR
A STORY

The days of Amira continued as usual, struggling with the clothes of customers who came and went. Lately there are some new customers so that the work becomes more and more. But Amira always tries not to disappoint her customers and finish her work as soon as possible even though sometimes sacrificing lunch time and the time of her return.

That afternoon Amira was busy with dirty clothes that were still piling up, probably requiring about two washes and that meant she had to work overtime for about an hour more. After all the clothes were finished packed and laid out in the storage cabinet he was preparing to go home. But his intentions had to be undone when he saw a car stop in front of his booth.

A man got out of the car and approached him. He handed me the package he was carrying.

"Kiss this," he ordered.

"Sorry, Sir. My booth is closed. But if you please I'll do it tomorrow morning and you can take it back tomorrow afternoon."

"Hmm." His hand that was still holding the package was still stretched out towards Amira.

Amira did not dare to take the package because she could not work on it at that time.

"Yes already, tomorrow afternoon I take. Here's my business card. Tomorrow tell me it's over" he said, putting the package he was carrying and a business card on his counter table.

Amira took the package and weighed it, but when she turned her back to tell him the weight of the package, it turned out that the man was out of place.

Amira tried to chase after the man, but unfortunately the man had left in his car.

Amira returns to her counter table and takes the business card that the man left behind. Reynald Subroto's. The name is on there with his phone number. He stored the card in his wallet which is outdated and only contains money for the cost of returning home.

"So his name was Reynaldi Subroto. It seems I've heard that name," he murmured.

Amira did not want to think any further about the name, she rushed home because she did not want to make her mother anxious and she felt very tired because of too much work.

The next day, Amira opens a package of clothes she has not washed. The shirt belongs to the man. A man named Reynaldi Subroto. Choose those clothes.

"Expensive clothes" he muttered as he looked at the brand on the lapels of the shirts.

"I have to be careful" he murmured once more.

Amira did not want to risk having to compensate if the clothes were damaged due to mishandling. He knew he would not be able to replace it.

Very carefully he worked on the clothes and finally finished. Everything was hanging in the storage closet. He took the man's business card which was stored in his wallet.

"Where's the card? Why isn't it here?" He kept stirring up the contents of his wallet, but no business card was found.

Amira tries to remember where she last kept it. He was convinced that yesterday he had it in his wallet. For a moment he was pensive, then suddenly he remembered that last night he had taken out the card in his room

"Yes my. The card is in the room. I forgot to put it back in. Well... How is this?"

Amidst the confusion the phone in his shop rang.

"Hello, Amira Laundry. Can anyone help?" greet Amira.

"Yes. Is my shirt finished?" said the voice of the man across there.

"I'm sorry, who am I talking to?"

"Rey. Reynald's."

Deg. Amira's heart stopped. It turned out that he was talking to the person he was thinking about

"Oh yes, Sir. The clothes are done. What's to take now?"

Tuout. Her phone connection was cut off. Amira stared at the phone handle she was holding and placed it in its place again.

"The freak" he murmured.

Amira was surprised to hear the voice and immediately turned her body towards the direction it came from.

"Master? You're already here?" Amira stared in amazement at the man in front of her.

"My book!" said firmly.

"Oh, fine." Amira immediately picked up her clothes and handed them to the man.

"Other times call me, when it's done," he said as he grabbed his clothes.

"Sorry, Sir. I lost his business card. So I can't call you Mr."

"Call Rey." He took out his business card again and handed it to Amira.

Rey gives Amira a few pieces of money without asking how much she should pay and leaves.

"Sir, this is too much!" shout Amira.

Rey simply raised her hand without looking at it. Amira smiled at the money she was holding. His mind instantly brightened, various plans flashed through his mind. And the main thing is, he's going to buy medicine for his mother.

Since then Rey has been a regular customer of Amira, although not every day. Amira always faithfully awaits the arrival of Rey, because in addition to Rey is handsome, she also always gives more money. Amira is greatly helped by the money Rey gave her. He was no longer bothered to think about the cost of living and the cost of his mother's medicine.

Rey is not the type of man who likes to be suave and tends not to talk much, but Amira likes him very much because he never was disrespectful to her.

But unbeknownst to Amira, Rey noticed Amira's agile gestures, and the look of Amira was quite beautiful, especially if polished cosmetics and wearing expensive clothes and jewelry.

Rey secretly admires Amira. The woman was very different from the women who had once stopped in her arms so easily just by being lured with money. Women who do not want to work hard and want to get everything quickly and easily. In contrast to Amira, a beautiful girl who is willing to work hard to support her life.

Rey never saw Amira complaining or just complaining about her life's difficulties. He brings positive energy for Rey to always be excited about life.

"An attractive woman" he muttered whenever he noticed Amira.

Rey could have left her clothes and taken them back when she was washed, but she preferred to wait for her. He prefers to pay attention to Amira's agility at work.

However, due to his prestige, Rey refrains from approaching Amira. He always felt that there was a distance that made it very difficult to get close to the woman. Amira always acted as if she was not interested in her good looks and wealth.

"Sir, the dress is done..."

"Call Rey," cut Rey.

"good. Mr. Rey, the shirt..."

"Just rey. No, sir."

"Oh yes. The clothes are done." Amira puts Rey's clothes on her counter table carefully.

As usual Rey put a few pieces of money a thousand thousand several sheets.

"Sorry, Sir..."

"Rey!"

"Rey, the money's too much. Here's the change."

"Just take a tip for your hard work" Rey replied as she passed

I don't know what Amira felt at the time. On the one hand he was happy because he had enough money to buy his mother's medicine and a little added to his savings. On the other hand he feels that it is not his right, because the money given by Rey is too big, although Rey says that it is a tip for him.
