The Immortality Flower had ended when Lin Huang became a demon prince. Lingxiao's mother was not due to her sacrifice. The next story revolves around Lin Huang trying to take back the power of the immortal palace which was the palace of his own mother. The first episode is likely to be set in Wangling's domain before he goes on a long journey in the immortal realm.
The series is likely to be a trilogy with a prequel titled The Last Ruler Of The Immortal Realms and a sequel titled Journey Against Absoulute Power. Prequel will tell the figure of Lingxiao who has the real name of Xue Lianhua who explained the origins regarding him. And the sequel will tell the story of Lin Huang's journey to steal his mother's soul in the Wangling domain which is the domain of the dead. There is one spin off of the character from the novel that will have its own story, he is Lian Xiang. Characters in The Last Ruler Of The Immortal Realms. He will have his own story in one of the spin-offs titled The Eternal Love Song Of A Godes.
