The empress had been taken over by the demon emperor who could easily break Xing Jiao Lao's technique. The Emperor simply watched without any action provoking anger from Minister Lou.

Xing Jiao Lao and Ling Mei retreated to be on She Han's side.

The empress limped trying to get up after being hit by the moon spear belonging to King Jin.
