The Immortality Flower

The Immortality Flower
Secret Reward

Yi Liong closed the door leaving Lou Shi alone. The Cengyue city treasure warehouse was very diverse in its contents. Lou Shi sat cross-legged using his soul perception to obtain the book he wanted.

The book that was on the shelf of the wooden cabinet trembled then floated around Lou Shi. Sensing that the books were no match for him, Lou Shi returned the books back.

Looking for a treasure that he found attractive took a long time to get. Two books flew up to Lou Shi. The unusual aura made him attractive until his eyes opened.

"Soul sword technique night and.." said Lou Shi hanging.

One of the books in front of him was strange. There is no title for the book. The curious Lou Shi immediately opened the book until the title slowly appeared. The dragon aura he obtained from one of Emperor Wu's secret edicts stimulated the ancient book.

"What does dragon aura have to do with this book? " ask Lou Shi.

The book titled Imperial Dragon Aura made Lou Shi interested in reading it. The core explanation of the book is that a person who is about to ascend the throne as Emperor must have the recognition of the Dragon Emperor in order to obtain the holy aura of the imperial dragon to protect his entire people.

Whoever is an Emperor who does not have the aura of an imperial dragon, then his throne will not be intact forever or passed on by his descendants. A person who has the aura of a dragon has the right to occupy the throne for obtaining the holy aura of the Dragon Emperor.

"Does Emperor Wu Jiang Zhi have a dragon aura?" said Lou Shi.

Lou Shi recalled that he along with Lin Huang absorbed the dragon aura from the sheet he had obtained in Shiluo village.

"Don't the dragon aura that I have be the same as the dragon aura that the Emperors have, " said Lou Shi.

Lou Shi began speculating on the dragon aura he had in the valley he had found in Shiluo village. According to the book he read, the dragon aura belonged only to the Imperial bloodline. When a prince wants to ascend the throne, then he must awaken the dragon aura in order to gain recognition from the Dragon Emperor. How percent of a prince can awaken a dragon aura, only the Dragon Emperor determines whether the prince should ascend the throne.

Wild speculations regarding Emperor Wu Jiang Zhi swirled around Lou Shi's head.

"Although I am the grandson of King Jin, King Jin is not a prince of the Emperor lineage. Why am I able to absorb the dragon aura just like Lin Huang, " Lou Shi said.

"Was Emperor Wu Jiang Zhi unable to awaken the dragon aura? And the dragon aura I got was the dragon aura from Emperor Wu Jing Ren so anyone could absorb it. But why did Emperor Wu's throne Jiang Zhi survive until now? " ask Lou Shi.

Rush away from the treasure warehouse carrying the two books. The golden coffin along with Yuhe pills had been delivered to the barracks where Lou Shi lived.

Reporting what he got to Shuan Yi then rushed back to the barracks. Gong Wei had been waiting for Lou Shi to return asking what he got.

"You obtained the night soul sword technique? What a happy thing, " said Gong Wei.

"Yes, I'm happy to get the thing I want, "reply Lou Shi.

Gong Wei left after having a stale conversation with Lou Shi. The exercise was stopped because commander Fang Xin was in a meeting with the City Lord.

Lou Shi wrote a message asking General An Ning for help asking about the court situation and telling him about the imperial dragon aura and the books he had obtained as information. Lou Shi placed the message and book of the Imperial Dragon Aura he placed inside the golden chest along with the Yuhe Pill.

Lou Shi tells the guard of the mansion to hire a deliveryman who can deliver goods quickly. The courier came to bring a car which he then handed over to the courier the gold crate.

"It's a payment for you and send it to General An Ning's mansion immediately" Lou Shi said.

"Well, we'll deliver as soon as possible, "the courier answered the carriage.

Lou Shi used his soul to erase the memories of the people involved avoiding them reporting to Mr. Shuan Yi.

Lin Huang rode his horse across the mountain which was in the territory of King Qiu Di. The forest is still beautiful with animals that are rarely found. The slopes of the mountain planted with green tea make the beautiful atmosphere soothing. The locals who are picking tea can be found along the way.

"King Qiu Di is indeed rich, "said Lin Huang.

Lin Huang rested at the temple while waiting for his horse to restore his stamina. The beautiful scenery relieved Lin Huang's tiredness after traveling a long distance.

The temple door opened, a young monk came out greeting Lin Huang.

The temple environment is well maintained. The young monk escorted Lin Huang to meet the great monk.

"Greetings, " said Lin Huang.

"Greetings." reply the great monk.

"Master wants to rest, please inside the temple, "said the great monk.

"Thank you, " replied Lin Huang.

The young monk brought Lin Huang food along with drinks. Lin Huang ate and drank quietly and noiselessly.

The young monk lit incense preparing to pray. Lin Huang stepped aside to not disturb.

"Mr Lin, "call the great monk.

Lin Huang was surprised as someone called him who turned out to be a great monk.

"How do you know my name? " ask Lin Huang.

"Be careful, " replied the great monk.

Awkward atmosphere. Lin Huang felt uneasy when faced with a great monk.

"Thank you for your generosity" said Lin Huang.

"With all living beings, we must help each other, " replied the great monk.

"Is there anything you want to tell me? " ask Lin Huang.

"The path of virtue will guide you, "said the great monk touching Lin Huang's forehead using his index finger.

Lin Huang was in the sea of consciousness seeing that there were thousands of steps leading to a place. His feet stepping one step after another on the stairs dispelled the unbearable curiosity.

A golden aura flowed towards the steps that Lin Huang had passed and blocked Lin Huang from going any further.

"What's going on! " said Lin Huang bouncing back to the bottom.

The steps that numbered in the thousands before disappeared with the voice of the great monk echoing.

"The end of the stairs is where you go, but you are not yet worthy to go there" said the great monk.

Lin Huang was shocked to see the great monk standing in front of him.

"You." said Lin Huang.

"Don't rush there because big things will happen in a row" said the great monk.

"What big thing? " ask Lin Huang.

"You'll know for sure. You'd better stay here a few days meditating, " said the great monk.

Lin Huang obeyed the words of the great monk to stay for a few days in the temple.
