Chapters 11. Beautiful Revenge

Under the night sky was seen Xu Jia entering Yongping Palace in a hurry. His facial expression looked extremely serious and with long strides he went to Zhou Ziyang study room. Xu Jia bowed before Zhou Ziyang to greet him.

Zhou Ziyang was reading a wooden scroll. He raised his head to look at Xu Jia. "What's up?"

"Your Majesty, Jiang Yu stepped out of the inn and followed A Heng from the Liu Residence. I have ordered someone to follow them," Xu Jia replied.

"Is there any action from Liu Qingqing?"

"Second Miss Liu did not take any suspicious action. He had only practiced the sword this morning and his spare time would be spent reading books in the backyard. Even he had never been out of the inn until now."

"Then, have you found out what Jiang Yu came to Liu's Residence for?"

Xu Jia did not reply as quickly as before. He was somewhat afraid of hearing Zhou Ziyang's cold voice. "Not yet, Your Majesty. Our man only saw Jiang Yu return to the inn alone. After that he didn't make any moves."

Hearing Xu Jia's explanation, Zhou Ziyang stopped his reading activities. "They seemed like they were going to start acting and make A Heng the first target."

"Seeing something to see!" ziyang Zhou replied as he walked away.

Hearing his master's reply made Xu Jia's forehead wrinkle. He let out a long sigh before following behind Zhou Ziyang. Xu Jia was so obedient despite not knowing where they were headed.

The lanterns that hung at every corner of Liu's residence swayed in the wind. A black shadow barged in through the side of the left wing. He jumped off the outer wall and utilized the peach blossom tree on the corner side for a foothold before descending down.

The shadow borrowed the side wall of Liu Qingqing's room to hide. His eyes scoured every corner guarded by guards. From his place he could see four people were guarding the room on the right wing of the residence.

The four people were almost the same height. They seem to be chatting. Among them was one person with a wound on his face and he was called 'Dage' by the others.

The black shadow took the opportunity to slide away to its destination, at a time when the four guards were busy with their chatter. In an instant he was already behind Li Shu's room. He hollowed out the window, then took a small bamboo from his arm.

The man blew a small bamboo to put sleeping pills in. Li Shu who was in the room accidentally inhaled the medicine mixed with the room air. Soon, Li Shu's consciousness diminished and his head slowly drooped on the table.

Every desk drawer he opened with a very slow movement. His hands are always moving from one thing to another. The person's gaze sharpened, completely not letting anything escape his examination.

"Where did Li Shu hide that thing! I need to find him!" muttered the black shadow slowly.

The person moved towards a fairly high bookshelf. He tried to search there, but did not find it either. Suddenly his hand held an ink stone that made him curious because it could not be lifted.

The room was not very large in square shape. He went in and found several wooden boxes of different sizes. Searching carefully he finally found the desired item, one small box and one medium-sized red box. He took the object in a small box, then put the small box back in its original place.

She smiles. "Finally meet."

After he was done with his mission, the person immediately exited the room and turned back the ink stone. The bookshelf as the treasure gate in the secret place was again sealed shut. He slid away leaving Li Shu who was still unconscious.

That night it seemed like God was being kind to the figure dressed in all black veiled men. The action so far has been very smooth, there are no obstacles at all. If he knew he would get such a good result, he wouldn't have bothered to wait until now.

The shadow did not directly leave the Liu Residence, but he went towards the back room. Where all the servants of the residence live. He went into a room and placed a red box in the bottom desk drawer.

Then he came out of the room and intended to leave the Liu Residence. However, it was a pity that the man's actions were known to the butler. When the butler was about to shout 'Infiltrator' a dagger flew as fast as lightning towards him. The dagger stuck in the neck of the butler's head made his speech left in the throat and ended up losing his life.

The sound of a body collapsing to the floor was heard by several guards. The black shadow quickly slid away, but failed as the four room guards on the right flank caught him.

A guard shouted, "There's an intruder!"

Before the other guards came the black shadow immediately against the four guards surnamed Meng. He threw four poisonous needles with his finger towards the guard. Although that person's throw could be said to be good, but only two needles had managed to injure two maids. If that small object was not coated in deadly poison it would definitely not be able to take the lives of two guards surnamed Meng that fast.

Seeing his brother die in the blink of an eye, the guard called 'Dage' attacked ferociously. His eyes were full of anger. Every slash from the sword in that person's hand had a grudge to take the black shadow's life.

"I'll kill you!" the guard shouts with the call 'Dage'. His thunderous voice broke the silence of the night, as if the entire Liu Residence was filled with the voice of that person.

"Dage, let's kill this guy together!" exclaim another guard surnamed Meng. His anger had culminated with a deep hatred. "I'll chop off this man's head to appease our brother!"

"It depends on your abilities!" said the black shadow with a cold look.

Attacked from two directions, front and back make the black shadow must keep its concentration tight. When he was swinging the sword at the guard in front of him, from the back also launched an attack. However, the black shadow immediately raised its sword sheath to fend off the attack.

The clattering of steps approaching towards the right wing of the residence sounded extremely loud. It awakened the black shadow to immediately finish the fight. He did not have time to play with the guards in the courtyard of Liu's Residence.

"I need to get out of here. Otherwise, I'll lose my life." thought the black shadow.

The guard surnamed Meng did not relax his attack at all. They continued to charge towards the black shadow. A pair of brothers and sisters work together to immediately take the life of the black shadow in retaliation for their brother's life.

When the swords of the two brothers pointed towards the black shadow, he immediately dodged by twisting his body. He took advantage of the opportunity to throw a handful of poisonous white powder towards the opponent. Unable to dodge in time, the eyes of the two guards surnamed Meng were so badly injured that they howled in pain.

The two guards were unable to open their eyes as their eyes became red and swollen. When their eyes were rubbed by hand, blood seeped out from there. The black shadow took the moment to unleash the final attack, executing them with a deadly slash.

At that moment dozens of other guards came to catch the black shadow, but he immediately jumped onto the roof and slid away.
