The terrible events in Liu's residence became a hot topic in the morning. As of now, all visitors to the Rongyi Inn talk about it on the sidelines of their breakfast activities.

People pull one news with another, then combine it randomly to form a conclusion. They said it was the work of one of the servants in the Liu House because he was tempted by the wealth of others.

Bai Liu who had just come downstairs to order food heard the news clearly. He immediately climbed back up to the second floor and walked into the room to inform Liu Qingqing.

Liu Qingqing had just gotten up to sleep. He was sitting on the edge of the bed flexing his hand muscles. Seeing Bai Liu's anxious expression, he asked in a hoarse voice. "Liu'er, what's wrong?"

Bai Liu approached towards Liu Qingqing and replied quickly. "Miss, last night Liu's residence was entered by an intruder. Everyone below is talking about it."

"What's? How did that happen?" liu Qingqing asked with widened eyes. His sleepy face turned serious.

"No idea, Miss. I just heard someone break into the residence and kill the guards. Moreover, they said the Madam suspected A Heng as the perpetrator because she was not there at the time of the incident."

"Liu'er, has Jiang Yu returned?"

"I haven't checked into his room, miss."

"Now you go to Jiang Yu's room. If Jiang Yu has returned ask him to meet me," Liu Qingqing ordered.

Bai Liu nodded. "Good, Miss."

Just at that moment, a knock on the door sounded from outside. "Miss, I'm back."

They know the sound from outside the room. It was Jiang Yu.

"Jiang Yu, come in!" liu Qingqing said as she got out of bed.

Jiang Yu entered calmly and immediately bowed before Liu Qingqing. "Miss, I've been following your orders well."

Liu Qingqing smiled, whereas Bai Liu displayed a slightly bewildered expression. He was indeed not involved in some matters in Liu Qingqing's plan. It was not because Liu Qingqing did not believe him, but because she wanted to protect Bai Liu. Little did Bai Liu know, then his life would be safer.

"Good! You have made a great contribution. I will give you a gift later," Liu Qingqing said.

As usual Jiang Yu refused politely. "No need to give me a gift, miss. This is my job."

"All right, I get it. You always have been." Liu Qingqing turned her gaze towards Bai Liu. "Liu'er, ask all the servants to prepare. After breakfast we'll go back to the residence."

"Good, Miss." Bai Liu immediately left to carry out the order. He left Liu Qingqing and Jiang Yu in the room.

"Miss, after this what should I do?" jiang Yu asked after seeing that Bai Liu had already moved away from the room.

Liu Qingqing slightly thought for a long time. His face was serious. After a long silence he finally said, "Jiang Yu, while you can hide first. I have to go back to the residence and clean up something. If all the problems are solved, I'll tell you."

A Heng was covered in blood. His body was covered in injuries caused by the blows of the sticks from several other servants. Two large men held A Heng's shoulders to kneel before Li Shu and Liu Yifei.

From the start A Heng did not understand why Li Shu punished him so severely. When A Heng came back this morning, he was immediately arrested by the residence's doorman, then dragged forcibly into the courtyard. He was punished with a punch from a thick wooden stick 50 times.

Last night A Heng wasn't at Liu's residence because he came out to report something to his master. However, on the way home he was intercepted by someone. He heard news of the intruder Liu House from the people's conversation and decided to immediately return to Liu's Residence.

Now in front of everyone A Heng was like someone who was about to meet death. She looks so bad with the clothes ripped here and there and has been soaked with blood. Anyone who saw him at this moment would be horrified.

A Heng did not give an answer for a long time.

This provoked Li Shu's anger. "A Heng, why are you quiet? Where were you last night? If there's someone who can bear witness to you, I can let you go and let you live!"

A Heng still did not open his mouth. He couldn't tell the truth, that last night he had met someone. The man could have been a witness to prove that he was not involved in the theft and murder at Liu's residence, but that could have resulted in his loss of life.

Li Shu was a little patient. He tried to soak up his anger and said in a somewhat low voice. "A Heng, be honest! Considering that you are the servant of His Majesty the King, I will not kill you! Tell me where were you last night?"
