The Legend of Princess Qingping

The Legend of Princess Qingping
Chapter 26. Guest Room 17

Getting the question directly by Zhou Ziyang made Yi Jintao rush over. He said while giving a folded paper. "Successful, Your Grace. This is the reply from Second Miss Liu."

Zhou Ziyang accepted Yi Jintao's gift, then he opened the piece of paper in a row. The expression stamped on his face showed pleasure, making Xu Jia who was sitting before him feel curious.

Xu Jia leaned his face forward, trying to see what was written on the paper. The man's hard work bore fruit, but his heart was filled with high curiosity. He could not help but open his voice to express his confusion.

"Let's see how lucky you are!"

Xu Jia repeated the sentence a few times. However, in the end he did not understand the intent of Liu Qingqing's letter. His handsome face was filled with curiosity mixed with confusion. It was so obvious that it was easily caught by others.

"Your Majesty, why did Second Miss Liu send such a letter?" xu Jia asked Zhou Ziyang. "What did you actually write in the previous letter?"

"I just invited him to meet," Zhou Ziyang replied as he folded the paper back. Then he stored the letter from Liu Qingqing into his wide sleeves.

"If you want to meet, won't we be able to meet him in person, Your Majesty? It just so happened that he was visiting this inn." Xu Jia again expressed his thoughts.

Why bother sending a letter just to meet? The person in question is already across the door.

Isn't that just self-destructive?

However, before Zhou Ziyang could reply, Yi Jintao had already interjected, "Xu Jia, Your Majesty certainly has his own reasons. Why are you asking unnecessary questions?"

"I'm just curious, Uncle Yi. The reply from Second Miss Liu was quite confusing. Is it acceptance or rejection?"

Hearing Xu Jia's confession made Yi Jintao unable to bear to give a sneer. "It's not confusing, but you're the stupid one."

"Did Uncle Yi himself understand the meaning of Second Miss Liu's letter?" ask Xu Jia.

Yi Jintao shook his head with a heavy heart. "Don't know. But, I think Second Miss Liu left everything to fate."

Xu Jia slightly chuckled. After that he turned back Yi Jintao's words earlier. "Means we're just as stupid."

Zhou Ziyang was slightly comforted by the confusion of others. The corner of his lips curved upwards forming a knot, but it only seemed fleeting before it finally disappeared along with a question. "Uncle Yi, what news did you get?"

"Your Majesty, I only heard Second Miss Liu needs the best storyteller of the capital. It looks like he will be looking for Boss Yu," Yi Jintao replied immediately.

Xu Jia chimed in, "Good! Thus we will easily know the true purpose of Second Miss Liu."

"Xu Jia, you know what to do?" Zhou Ziyang looked at Xu Jia who was still sitting before him.

Xu Jia nodded. "Understand, Your Majesty."

He got up from the chair and prepared to leave. However, his steps were stopped by Zhou Ziyang's words.

"Xu Jia, tell Boss Yu to do it as usual and if they really come greet well."

After nodding and saying yes, Xu Jia immediately left room number 17.

If Xu Jia was confused by Liu Qingqing's reply, the other two people were made curious by the secret letter from room number 17 guest. They were none other than Jiang Yu and Bai Liu.

Jiang Yu could not help but ask about it. "Miss, who actually sent the letter?"

"Oh, this." Liu Qingqing slightly smiled. "Jiang Yu, do you know Xu Jia?"

Jiang Yu frowned before replying, "I'm not very familiar, Miss. It's just that I know he's Second Prince Zhou Ziyang's personal bodyguard. Some time ago Boss Yu also told me that Young Master Xu Jia was looking for me."

Liu Qingqing became curious. "Why is he looking for you?"

"Don't understand for sure because I didn't get to see him. Boss Yu just said they saw the talent in me." Jiang Yu slightly shrugged, then continued her words. "Even until now I myself did not know what talent they meant. I'm just a lowly person with superficial knowledge."

Seeing Liu Qingqing show no reaction other than silence made Jiang Yu again say, "Miss, if you want me to meet Young Master Xu I can do it and Boss Yu will definitely help. It just so happened that the time that Young Master Xu Jia was looking for me was also not long ago. I can ask why I'm looking for me."

"That's not necessary, Jiang Yu. I can understand why Xu Jia was looking for you, but I'm a little curious why did you refuse her request?"

Jiang Yu replied seriously. "That's because I've met Miss at this inn and become your subordinate. Before going to the Lanyun Temple I went to Boss Yu to say my rejection at the invitation of Young Master Xu Jia."

Liu Qingqing never expected the reason behind Jiang Yu's refusal to become a subordinate to her. He secretly admired Jiang Yu's loyal nature inwardly.

However, Liu Qingqing was not entirely happy as the young man had always reminded him of his men in modern life. Not only are their names the same, but the nature of the two is also the same. They were truly obedient and trustworthy people, only their facial features were slightly different.

"I'm really lucky to have a subordinate like you, Jiang Yu. Not everyone can have a talent like you, so in the future don't say that again. Your present abilities have helped me greatly." Liu Qingqing looked at Jiang Yu seriously. "Everything I say is true, then believe me! There's no reason for you not to be confident about your talent!"

Jiang Yu's eyes glazed over, but she tried to hold back so that her tears wouldn't fall. "Thank you for the attention of Miss. I'll remember it well. Miss, what is that letter from Young Master Xu?"

"No," Liu Qingqing replied.

"Then who?" Replace Bai Liu who asked. "Why is Miss suddenly talking about Young Master Xu? What does that letter have to do with him?"

"He wouldn't dare to send a letter like this, but it was different from his master."

Liu Qingqing's words made Jiang Yu and Bai Liu freeze on the spot. Both of them were clearly shocked by what they had just heard. Every word that came out of Liu Qingqing's mouth was completely beyond their range of thinking.

"His master?" jiang Yu asked firmly and his eyes were filled with disbelief.

"You mean ... The letter was from the Second Prince?"

"It can be sure!" Liu Qingqing handed over the letter from Zhou Ziyang to Jiang Yu. "You read!"

After Jiang Yu read the letter, she handed it over to Bai Liu. Bai Liu's countenance showed astonishment as he said, "This ... right from His Highness the Second Prince, Miss? How could he send a letter like this?"

Liu Qingqing turned her gaze towards Bai Liu. Then he said in a soft voice. "The story is long, Liu'er. If it's time I'll tell you, you wait!"

"None right." Bai Liu nodded. "Miss, it's almost night. Shouldn't we be back soon? Otherwise, Big Madam and Miss Liu Yifei would definitely be angry."

"Liu'er, even if they are angry, no matter your non-you will definitely not remain silent. But, it's true that you said we should return soon because I need to take care of something" Liu Qingqing said. "Liu'er, give the book I asked you to bring to Jiang Yu!"

Bai Liu nodded, then he gave the book he brought. "This, Young Master Jiang."

"What is this, Miss?" ask Liu Qingqing.

Liu Qingqing smiled as she gave the order. "That's the story I wrote, Jiang Yu. You can read it before you go to Boss Yu and tell him right after. I'll be back now."

Jiang Yu immediately got up from her chair. "Good, Miss. I'll definitely give you some good news."

Before Liu Qingqing left room number 7. He said, "Jiang Yu, you must meet Boss Yu secretly. It's likely that your movements will be supervised by someone, then be careful."

"Good, Miss. I'll remember it well." Jiang Yu nodded respectfully. "Miss, let me drive you."

"No need, you stay here. I'll be back with Bai Liu." Liu Qingqing turned to look at Bai Liu. "Come, go, Liu'er!"

After Liu Qingqing's departure, Jiang Yu immediately read the non-existent story. He looked serious and occasionally had a few wrinkles on his forehead. However, he remained focused all the way and did not make any sound.

The book was not very thick, it only contained a few layers of paper with neat writing. In a short period of time Jiang Yu could already read the entire story, then put it into clothes. He rushed out of the inn room and went downstairs to go to Rongyu Pavilion.

Unknowingly, several pairs of eyes watched him closely.

"It looks like he will become an important person in the capital," said someone breaking the silence.
