Chapter 67: Village Development II
The crystals created chunks of ice that shot at me, I split them apart before sliding at them, there was a visible wall that held my slash.
I continued to slash it several times until cracks appeared before breaking into fragments.
"How can you?"
"Maybe because it's weak."
I changed the sword attack into a leg kick until it hit Crystal's stomach until she was thrown away with a deafening sound.
"Damn it," he shouted up and now that he was using fire magic that was sliding at me, I made an ice wall to hold him back.
Not only him, I also have the ability to use magic differently, from beside me two giant hands made of earth appeared and patted me like a mosquito.
I was squeezed but only for a moment before the whole hand was destroyed.
"Are you really human?"
"Let's find out together."
Me and Crystal darted forward, because she was wearing Carol's body I couldn't use my slash therefore I tried to restrain myself with a punch, I sheathed back the sword and forced against her bare-handed.
We smashed each other blows then used similar magic, from fire to the ground, to fire again, to wind to even the lightning element as well.
The explosions going on so many miles around us were just full of meaningless damage.
"I am a demon who became the right hand of the demon lord himself, where perhaps my strength could be offset by humans."
"If you're his right hand then I don't have to worry, in other words the rest are weak and can be handled by stupid heroes like them."
"Damn."
We banged each other blows creating an outside explosion that engulfed the entire area of the fight.
After that, I stepped on the Crystal body lying on the ground.
"You?"
"I'm sorry but I have to get rid of you, you're trying to take someone else's land then this is what you get."
A magic circle of light appeared where we were at the center.
"Dispell."
Along with my words the figure of the Crystal disappeared with its tail.
It's over.

A few days later after we returned to the cat race village I buried myself on the table.
"Hello, hello, I came to visit..
"My work is pretty much."
"I heard that the heroes started leading the army to take down the demon lord, it's no surprise."
"Ah yes...why do they want to move well?"
I said that while smiling bitterly.
"Whatever it was for the merchant was very profitable, some places had been taken by the demon army so if they managed to have many roads reconnected, the increase in demand would be even more."
The trader has another way of thinking.
"By the way about the port when can you operate?"

"Don't be silly, we're just a cat breed where we might be able to do it. We're not as strong as Orcs or monster races, we're just a cat that likes to nap."
"Then we look for another race to fill that role."
"If so later this village will turn into a different village is not a cat race village anymore."
"You're having a problem with that?"
"I'm glad that the cat race can be recognized by many people now, but I don't want to change the name."
