The Loss of Last Love

Finally the waiting day has arrived. After several years of education, Romy was declared graduated with a doctorate. Romy is very happy and proud of his achievements. He felt all his hard work over the years had paid off with satisfactory results. His family was also proud and delighted to see Romy earn his doctorate.

Early in the morning both parents were present in Jakarta to attend the graduation ceremony Romy. They're very enthusiastic about that. Finally the ideals of his parents materialized. 

"Now as long as yes! You're finally a doctor now." Said the father full of harrum. 

"Yes son, congratulations baby!" The mother also said with teary eyes.

"Thank you mom, dad. Thanks to the prayers and support of mom and dad, Romy was able to get to this point." Romy Haru said and hugged his parents tightly.

It was time for Romy's name to be called to the front of the Hall. Romy's nervous face and the sense of pride of both her parents emanated very clearly. Romy earned the cumlaude title for doctor. His parents are very proud to have an accomplished child like Romy.

After graduation, Romy immediately sought a job as a doctor in a hospital. He was happy to be able to devote himself to helping others. Although his work is quite tiring, Romy feels very grateful for being able to do the job he loves.

Not only that, Romy also became a role model for the people around him. They were inspired by Romy's struggles in completing education and earning a doctorate.

However, even though Romy has become a doctor, his mother still reminded Romy not to forget his main goal is to help others. His mother also asked Romy to remain humble and not to be arrogant with his title and position.

Romy responds well to her mother's message. He remains focused on his work and never forgets to help others wholeheartedly. Although he sometimes feels tired and frustrated with his work, Romy always remembers his main goal of helping others and making the world a better place.

With hard work and a strong determination, Romy finally managed to achieve his goals. He became a successful and respected doctor, and he also became an inspiring figure for the people around him.

While practicing in one of the famous hospitals he arrived a patient who was diagnosed with leukemia cancer. 

Suddenly his heart felt tight. How not, all his busyness makes him forget his friend Novi. His legs felt limp with no energy, his hands trembling violently considering his best friend who he had left a few years ago in his hometown. 

"Why can I forget Novi?" Inner screaming. He feels guilty.

After realizing that he had forgotten his promise to his best friend, Romy feels very guilty. He could not let his promise be simply ignored, especially since Novi was sick.

Romy immediately contacted Novi and told him that he wanted to fulfill his promise to climb the mountain together. However, Romy also realizes that Novi is sick with leukemia and may not be strong enough to climb the mountain.

However, the result is nil. No response message from Novi. He tried to contact Novi's parents but there was no answer.

After that Romy rushed back to his hometown. He wants to see his friend Novi. He approached the Novi House which looked empty and abandoned.

"Who are you looking for?" Said one of Novi's neighbors.

His neighbor just smiled, he realized Romy was the figure of his best friend Novi first and often played at Novi's house.

"Here's mom take you to Novi's place." Said the mother.

"Good ma'am. Answer Romy."

They continued walking down a rocky road. Romy also did not know where to take her. He just thought that Novi and his mother had moved away. 

Finally the mother drove Romy to a new place Novi, where it was a cemetery.

Romy was very surprised and wondered why he was taken to the funeral by the mother. 

"Son, this is Novi's place now, he hasn't been around since 3 years ago." Said the mother.

Lightning during the day. Romy was very surprised to hear the words of the mother. He was crying so much. He was very sorry for not knowing the news that Novi was gone that made him very devastated.

Romy feels very sad and devastated when he learns that his best friend, Novi, has been dead for 3 years. He felt very sorry for not being able to fulfill his promise to climb the mountain with Novi before he died.

"Novi I'm sorry I didn't keep my promise!" Shouted Romy while holding a Headstone bearing the name Novi. He remembered that he had promised Novi to return to him and climb the mountain together. However, all his promises could not be kept. He has forgotten Novi, he does not even know that Novi is dead. His heart really hurt.

Romy returned to his house, he came with a very gloomy and sad face. He doesn't know what else to do. He entered into an old room of his dlu. He looked at some of his photographs with Novi while climbing the mountain together. Her tears fell not remembering everything.

"Novi, I'm sorry Nov!" Lirih Tomy while continuing to look at photos of Novi with himself.

"Nov, I'm a doctor now. Why are you leaving me in a witch?" Romy tried to speak with a piece of the photo in her hand. She wiped her tears and cleaned up all the photos.

  Romy decided to keep Novi in good memory. He made a photo album and put all their memorable photos together in it. Romy also wrote a letter to Novi, telling him everything that had happened in his life and apologizing for not being able to keep his promise.

"You will remain in my heart Nov. I realize you're the best." Inner Romy.

Although Novi has left, Romy takes wisdom from losing his best friend. She learns to value relationships and fulfill promises with her loved ones before it's too late. Romy also learns to live in courage and take risks to realize his dreams and goals, because life is a gift that cannot be taken for granted.

That way, Romy continues to devote himself as a good doctor and continues to help others with all his heart, as expected by his best friend, Novi. 

"I love you Nov, my prayers are always with you. Relax there Nov." Romy.
