The Loss of Last Love
Returnees
Returning from the mountain they took the city bus back to their homes. Along the way back home, Romy keeps a close eye on Novi. He doesn't look well. Several times Romy asked about Novi's condition but Novi always avoided and said that he was fine. So Romy decides not to ask Novi again and assumes that Novi is fine and in good health.
Finally Romy and Novi have returned to their respective homes after completing their 3-day journey on Mount Merbabu. When Romy arrived at her doorstep, she saw her mother waiting with a worried look on her face.
"Mom, I'm back" said Romy, smiling at his mother.
Romy's mother immediately ran up to her son and hugged him tightly while crying. "Son, why didn't you tell me before you left? Mom is very worried about you.” Said her mother as she continued to cry in Romy's arms.
Romy feels guilty for not telling her mother before leaving.
"Sorry, mom. Not that Romy intentionally didn't tell. Romy was just afraid of not getting permission from mom. Sorry Romy yes ma'am." explained Romy with a face full of regret with a little tear out because he could not bear to see his mother's face crying because of worry.
Romy was sad to hear his mother's cry. He knew that he had made the mistake of lying to his mother about going up the mountain with his friends. He just wanted to try something new and get a different experience, but he felt guilty for making his mother worry and cry.
"Mother, once again forgive me. I didn't mean to worry you and cry like this. I promise I won't do it again." Romy tries to convince his mother that he will take responsibility and will not repeat his mistake.
Romy's mother grabbed her son's face and gently wiped Romy's tears.
"Mom's glad you're back safely. Don't ever make you worry again, yes" Romy's mother said with a gentle smile on her child.
“Iya ma'am, Romy just wants to channel the hobby of Romy bu no more. Romy to the mother.
"Yes son, I know you want to try something new. But please, tell mom if you want to do something like that again. I'm afraid of losing you you're my only mother's son." His mother said, wiping away his tears.
Romy feels guilty and promises to be more honest with her mother and will not worry her anymore. He knew that his mother loved him very much and only wanted the best for him. He decided to keep learning from his mistakes and become a more responsible and honest child to his mother.
Romy is looking for an invisible father in his house
"Where's mom?" Romy said as he looked inside the house.
"Your father doesn't want to be out of town 2 weeks on a business trip! Good thing your dad's out of town, son, he doesn't know you're going up the mountain. No more, son!" Said the Mother.
Romy looked relieved
Romy was relieved to hear that his father was out of town for two weeks. He felt guilty for not telling his father about his plan to go up the mountain with his friends, but now he could breathe a sigh of relief because his father would not know.
"Mother, I didn't know I was going up the mountain, did I?" ask Romy to make sure.
"Yes, mom. I'm not gonna do it again. I promise." Romy said while feeling a little embarrassed for having made her mother worried.
After that, Romy was relieved and decided not to make her mother worry anymore. He plans to be a more responsible child and not make the same mistakes again. Romy also plans to surprise his father when he returns home from out of town, as a sign that he loves and misses his father.
"Wait for ya, Dad. I'll give you a special surprise when you get home." Romy said in his heart with a smile.
"You are now resting! Geez until black gini skin you son!" Said the mother
Romy looked at his mother tiredly and smiled. He felt tired after climbing the mountain with his friends. His reddish skin and slightly black from the sunburn made him feel a little embarrassed.
"Yes, mom. I'll rest first. I'm sorry for worrying you." Romy said in a soft voice.
"Yes, it's important that you go home safe. I'll have dinner ready for you." Said the mother with a smile.
Romy feels happy and grateful to have a family that always loves him. He prayed that his family would always be given health and happiness.
After taking a shower and eating, he cleaned up all his equipment. He saw a beautiful mountain painting. It was his work when he climbed Mount Merbabu
Romy was proud to see the mountain paintings he made. He recalled the moment when he climbed Mount Merbabu with his friends. He was inspired by the natural beauty he saw and decided to create a painting about it.
The painting displays the beauty of Mount Merbabu against the background of blue sky and white clouds. He uses a variety of colors to express the natural beauty he sees. Romy was pleased with his work and hoped that it could be a beautiful memento for him.
"Mother, look at this painting. I made it when I climbed Mount Merbabu." Romy said as he showed the painting to his mother.
His mother looked at the painting in amazement. "Well, that's great! You do have amazing talent, son." Said his mother proudly.
Romy was delighted to hear the praise from her mother. He felt increasingly motivated to continue to develop his painting talent. He hopes to someday become a famous painter who can inspire many people.
After that, Romy put the painting on the wall of his room as a beautiful memento of his mountain climbing. He was satisfied with the day he had passed and grateful for all the things he had in his life.
Although he felt that his father might not agree, Romy still felt interested in the idea of exploring other mountains. However, he also understood that such a decision should be carefully considered and should not be taken suddenly.
Romy decided to discuss her wishes with her parents and explained how important it was for her to explore the natural beauty of Indonesia. He hopes to convince his parents of the importance of such desire and is willing to meet the requirements given to do so.
