Angel managed to climb up the gate of the house and jumped out. Luckily he fell on the bushes, so that no heavy wounds were inflicted on him.
After feeling not followed again, Angel began to walk staggering because of enduring fatigue and pain all over his body. Fortunately, no one around the beach, even if there are some people passing by, they will see Angel and watch the girl from top to bottom.
Angel only wears a thin and bright nightgown. Plus, he wasn't wearing any footwear. His hair was disheveled and there were multiple bruises on his face from Jarrel's punch.
He kept walking and stopped when he was tired. The beautiful girl did not know where to go because she did not know where she was.
"Well, where else do I have to walk?" ask Angel monologue.
Desperate, he took to the beach and walked down the beach while occasionally wetting his feet with sea water.
After a short walk, he faintly saw a restaurant and a woman in her 50s seemed to be cooking food behind the restaurant for the guests who came. Angel approached the restaurant.
"Hello, ma'am," said Angel.
The old woman was shocked when she saw Angel. "Yes, God! What happened to your face, son? And, clothes? Oh, my God, what's wrong with you? Come inside! Coming in!"
He guides Angel's hand and invites the girl to sit nearby. "I'm sorry, I can't take you forward because it's so crowded out front. Lunch, you know? Have you eaten yet? You're as pale and thin as if you haven't eaten in days! Those wounds on your face, who beat you up? Wait here, I'll take this to my staff!"
The woman then shouted out loud. "Risotto seafood and shrimp fried!"
Before long, he had already returned to the kitchen again while carrying a glass of water in a large glass and thrusting it at Angel. "Drink! It's warm water, you must be tired, right?"
Quickly, he turned his body to the stove and put it into the frying pan, and a few minutes later, he gave Angel a plate of rice complete with a side dish of boga nautical. "Well, eat!"
Angel looked at the woman thankfully and did not have to wait to be ordered twice, the girl immediately devoured the food that had been served to her. "Thank you for the food,"
After her stomach filled up, Angel looked calmer. He began to be able to think what he would do to stay alive there. But before that, he had to find out where he was at the moment.
"I've washed the dishes, madam. Thank ye. If I may know, where is this?" ask Angel politely.
The woman looked at Angel with a concerned look. "It's Kencana beach in Metropole, honey,"
"Metropole City?" ask Angel. He had never heard of this Metropole town. Especially about Kencana Beach. "Sorry, ma'am, which country is this?"
This time, the woman really could not believe what she was hearing. He felt very sorry for Angel and thought about what had happened to the poor girl before him. "It's in CBA country, honey. You sure you're okay, son?"
Angel was stunned to hear the name of the country mentioned by the woman. Far away and even he had crossed the resort where he was staying.
"Mrs, can I work here? I'll wash every dish and even I'll tidy things up when this restaurant closes. I need a place to stay and money. Then, can I stay here for a while until I get money and a place to stay?" angel asked.
The woman nodded quickly. "Please, Honey. You can stay with me, son. I just happen to be alone with my son,"
The large index finger of the woman pointed towards a tall youth dressed in beach clothes. "That's my son. His name is Sidney Jones. Just call him, Sid,"
So, after the closing hours of the restaurant, the woman introduced herself. "My name is Sarah. You you?"
"An-, Carmen Brooke," Angel replied.
Sarah smiled and she called out, Sid, her son. "Say! Comehere! Well, this is a introduce. He will help us and will stay with us,"
Carmen reached out her hand to the young man, but the young man did not welcome back his helping hand. Instead of a friendly smile, he sneered and scorned Angel. "What clothes are you wearing? You're like a crazy person!"
Sarah hit the back of the boy's head. "So what you say!"
Then, he invited Angel to come home with him that night. I don't know what life awaits Angel next, but he hopes that things will go well.
Meanwhile at the resort, Dante stares intently at the woman he just divorced. "Evs! What are you doing here?"
"I'm looking for you because I want to thank you for the time I've been willing to give to me all this time" Evelyn replied in a sweet voice.
"I'm more and more convinced you're involved in Angel's disappearance! Where is he? Tell me!" tukas Dante with his voice whispering and almost hissing.
"We talked in the room. Aren't you ashamed if you see people fighting with me here? Could drop your stock later," Evelyn replied and she walked ahead of Dante to the resort where the man was staying.
Upon arrival at the resort room, Dante immediately explodes. "Where is he, Ev? I know you're not coming!"
Evelyn smiled at him. The woman folded her hands in front of her chest while shaking her head. Every now and then, he rolled his eyeballs upwards and looked at Dante concernedly. "Always slander comes out of your mouth, Dad. Oh, sorry, Morgan. Have you ever trusted me in your life, just once?"
"No!" ravenous Dante hot. "I never believed every word that came out of your mouth!"
"It's a shame for my fate. But this time, you have to trust me, I never touched Angel at all! You can check the flight agents and also the surveillance cameras at the airport! Prove everything, Morgan!" evelyn challenged.
Dante ruffled waist. He doesn't know if he should trust his ex-wife or not? Evelyn, however, seemed very convincing. Even so, Dante still asked Theo to check what Evelyn had said. "Seek everything and let me know as soon as possible!"
"Yes, sir," Theo said, then he rushed out to go to the airport.
After Theo's departure, Evelyn clasped Dante's hand. "Morgan, even if we're divorced, I hope we can be friends. You can count on me for anything. After all, we used to be good friends and I didn't want our friendship to break up just because of a divorce,"
Dante releases Evelyn's hand. The clear details from the corner of his eyes fell down and Dante quickly rubbed them. "Yes, thank's,"
Feeling that she has won a race, Evelyn smiles while embracing Dante's shoulder and leaning the man's head against her arm. "There I am, Morgan. You can tell me what you're feeling,"
