Chapter 1

“I'll marry you right now!” Reynolds said firmly to the girl he was holding on to. Adelle or familiarly called Elle is her college friend. Reynold had long harbored a fondness for the woman. But the events of that day made him dare to express his feelings.

Elle, maybe that woman was perfect in Reynold's eyes. But who would have thought, Elle herself was a night woman. Despite knowing that, Reynold still loves Elle sincerely. But Elle herself could not accept Reynold as her lover. Elle herself actually has a lover named Fredy, a well-established man from a distinguished family.

Summer, December 2025

“Elle, wake up!” Reynold said, shaking Elle's body. The woman was unconscious a few hours ago. The smell of alcohol enveloped her sexy slender body. Reynold tried hard to cover some of Elle's exposed body parts.

“You don't deserve all this Elle.” Reynold then held Elle with sobs. He then got rid of the hair that covered the beautiful face of his woman.

Reynold finally gave up, Elle could not be conscious. He finally picked up Elle and took her to a nearby hospital. In the middle of that pitch-black night, Reynold walked quite a distance while holding Elle. Reynold stopped the car on the road but no one stopped.

Step by step Reynold took, he almost gave up the situation, but he could not let the woman of his heart was for nothing. Finally, at the end of the road, there was a hut with a dim light. Renold tried to knock.

“Excuse me, is anyone inside?” Reynolds said, waiting for an answer. But there was no response, the hut was empty. Reynold was confused. He was still far from the settlement or city, while his physique was tired. Finally Reynold gave up, he decided to rest overnight in this hut.

Reynold tried to open the door, apparently unlocked. It turned out that the hut was a farmer's tool storage. Reynold then laid Elle in the shack. While himself, sitting down and only covered with straw mats. Reynold tried to close his eyes but it was very difficult. All night he kept worrying about Elle's condition. Several times he woke up to check on Elle's condition.

“Elle, your body is icy cold. Please hold on for a moment.” Reynold said as he rubbed Elle's head.

Reynold fell asleep while holding Elle's arm.

The next morning, Reynold woke up with a loud siren. How surprised Reynold was when he found himself surrounded by police teams. Reynold was arrested at the time. Elle, taken by the medical team. Reynold panicked. But he did nothing wrong.

Reynold is now at the interrogation table with a roaring-looking team of investigators.

“You did that girl last night huh?” The question came from the mouth of the investigation team.

“I didn't do anything to Elle. How could I hurt my own boyfriend. I actually helped him after being snatched*hkan by a depraved man named Fredy it!” Reynold did not accept the allegations made against him.

“Oh yes? then we'll believe? listen carefully, the trial will be conducted soon after the results of the visa have come out. So you won't be able to dodge your depraved deeds.” The investigation team threatened and cornered Reynolds.

The investigation team came out, before long came a woman who was none other than Elle's mother. The woman was crying hysterically and seemed ready to attack Reynold. He then ran towards Reynold and beat Reynold hard.

“Basic fuckers! M*at1 you!” The woman screamed hysterically as she stroked Reynold with her shoes.

“Tante, listen to me first! I can explain everything.” Reynold tried to avoid the woman's attack.

“Backed! I thought I could trust you to look after my son, but you killed my son! Aaaaarrrrgggghhh!” Elle's mother became increasingly hysterical, eventually one of the female guards entered and separated her mother Elle from Reynold.

“Awas you bastard! I'll finish you!” Despite being taken out, Elle's mother still curses and berates Reynold.

Reynold was furious, he then hit the table in front of him. The guarding guard immediately warned him. Reynold finally had no power to hold back his tears.

A few days later, the results of the visa came out and the trial took place. Reynolds sat in the defendant's seat. When Reynolds first entered, he was desperate, but when he saw Elle, who was sitting in the victim's seat, Reynold immediately changed. Elle, the woman looked silent, her face implying a deep trauma. His face was also filled with battered wounds. And his forehead's in bandages. Reynold suddenly walked towards Elle. That made everyone shocked. Especially Elle's mother. Elle's mother immediately tried to keep Elle away from Reynold.

“Don't you touch my daughter with your dirty hands that's a bastard!” Said Elle's mother angrily. Elle was silent. Finally the officer took Reynold away from Elle and placed him in the defendant's seat.

As the trial is about to begin, someone appears who surprises Elle and her mother. It was Fredy, the man who was none other than the real perpetrator of the abuse and mistreatment of Elle. Reynold suddenly stood up and tried to attack Fredy, but he abandoned his intentions.

The trial began. The indictment file began to be read. The trial went pretty hard because it turned out that the results of the visa did not show Reynold as the culprit. Fredy, too, is free from charges. But the problem is, who is the real culprit behind this case. Reynold himself already knew that the culprit was Fredy. But his witness is unbelievable because there is no corroborating evidence or other witnesses.

Then suddenly an additional witness appeared. He's the security guard from the hotel where Elle stayed last night. A man still wearing his full work uniform handed over evidence of the cctv footage last night.

The footage first shows Elle entering the hotel room alone. Before long, suddenly appeared a man whose face and identity were covered by a mask and other attributes he wore. Then the cctv died. This seems to be a pre-planned case.

Then, the hotel clerk also gave a list of hotel visits, and sure enough, there was a man who booked a hotel room next to Elle's room with a fake identity. The case is getting louder, plus Elle who does not want to open the slightest sound.he just fell silent with a blank look.it seems that trauma still envelops him. The results of the visa did not prove Reynold or Fredy as the perpetrator, even though Renold was convinced that Fredy had done all this to Elle.

Everyone present at the trial was wondering. Who is the real suspect.
