Elle was really going to fall down this time as well. Reynold is out of power. He was about to give up, while Elle had already given up.

“Elle, don't give up. Keep holding my hand.” Reynold said in those tense moments.

“Elle, listen carefully. I'll marry you Elle.” Reynolds said with great determination. Hearing that, Elle was shocked.

“I'll marry you tomorrow. I'll be in charge of your pride.” Reynolds was convinced. Elle couldn't believe what Reynold said.

“So please, don't give up. Hold my hand tightly. I'll pull you up as hard as I can.” Mum Reynold.

Miraculously, Elle changed her mind. He clasped Reyold's arm. And in an instant, Reynold directly pulled him up with the rest of his energy.

“Arrrrgggghhh!” Reynold lifted Elle up with all his might.

“Bruk.” Elle fell on Reynolds body.

“What's Elle.” Reynold said when he saw Elle who felt bad for him.

Elle then stood up. With Reynolds whose head was bleeding. Looking at Reynolds forehead covered in blood, Elle felt even more uneasy.

A moment later he remembered Reynolds saying that the man would be responsible for him. Elle was really getting more and more regretful.

Reynold, the kind and innocent man he had known since he first sat in High School. When they were in high school, they had a good friendship. So close, Reynold hoped for more than that. He wanted to be Elle's lover, but Elle did not want to date because she wanted to focus on the entrance test to college. Not to mention he was afraid if dating his own best friend. He was afraid that his relationship with Reynolds would be bad.

As time went on, they stepped on to college. Elle begins to get to know Fredy, the most famous man in their college. Elle slowly walked away from Reynolds because of Fredy. Elle was so infatuated with Fredy that she forgot her best friend Reynold. But Reynolds remained loyal to their friendship. Reynolds kept trying to get close to Elle, always there for Elle whenever Elle needed. Elle regretted that.

Until last night, Elle who previously hated Reynolds for interfering with her life too far felt she had mistaken him. Elle knew that Reynolds really loved her sincerely. If not mana might have acted this far for her. Elle should have realized this a long time ago. He was blinded by his love for Fredy. The man who doesn't love her.

Elle sat down crying. He regretted every moment he missed in his life.

“Gue fool! I'm really stupid!” Elle said as she continued to cry.

“No brother, don't say so.” Zielle who was beside him tried to calm him down.

“Gue where have you been all this time?” Added Elle.

“Kakak is not too late. Everything can still be fixed sis.” Zielle.

Shortly after Zielle spoke the doctor and nurse came out of the operating room. Elle approached them.

“What's the condition is fine?” Asked Elle worriedly.

“...”Elle breathed in relief.

After the doctor and the nurse left them, Elle went back to Zielle.

“Is Brother Rey okay sister?” Zielle asked impatiently.

“Ya, she will soon realize.” Answer Elle.

Reynold was then transferred to another room after surgery. It was only there that Elle and Zielle could go in and see his condition.

Elle opened the door, he entered slowly. Reynold was lying down, unconscious. His head was wrapped in bandages. Elle then approached him.

Elle sat down next to Reynold. He looked at Reynold's face while glazed over. Elle wanted to cry again.

“Sorry me.” Said Elle very quietly.

The next day Elle woke up. He saw Reynold still unconscious. Zielle fell asleep on the sofa by the door. Elle then grabbed her phone. He checks the clock. It turned out to be four in the morning. Elle was about to go back to sleep for a moment before she noticed Reynolds hand moving slowly.

Then followed by eyelid movement. Looks like Reynld's gonna wake up. Elle then wakes Zielle up to tell her to call the doctor, with Zielle's face still drowsy out to call the doctor.

By the time the doctor arrived, Reynold was completely unconscious. The doctor examined his condition carefully. Then he said to Elle.

“She was conscious, but still had to be treated because her wound had not healed completely. Nurses will come periodically to replace her bandages.” Obviously the doctor on Elle. Elle replied with a nod.

After the doctor left the room, Elle sat down next to Reynold. Elle hoped Reynold would smile at her. Indicates that he is okay. But Reynolds did not move a single bit. His face was flat, his gaze blankly on the ceiling. Elle was worried. Is reynold really okay?

“...”Elle was silent from embarrassment.

Elle was embarrassed. “What looks so clear?” Whispers slowly.

“...”Elle was silent.

“I'm sorry that I was here even though today I should have kept my promise to you Elle.” Reynold said, his face turned sad.

“Do your parents know about this? do I need to call them and tell them about your current condition?” Asked Elle curiously.

“Daddy. They won't care. You don't have to bother contacting them.” Reynolds face turned angry and angry.
