CHAPTER 8: Flashback

The car drove away from the luxurious residence, Arka repeatedly let out a long sigh, apparently her mother still has not given up on matching herself with the daughter of her late father's best friend. Actually he and Clarisa grew up together, he already considers Clarisa like his own sister, even his mother is also very fond of the daughter of his best friend, therefore he really wants to see Arka married to him, in addition to their very close family relationships, Clarisa is also from a fairly well-respected family.

Arka pensively gazing at the night sky, the clock has shown at one in the morning, but he still can not close his eyes, his mind continues to be fixed on the lover who finally looks very strange, this last look, Mita was impressed like she avoided it, even she had rejected her proposal many times. Arka did not think too much about it and considered if it was just the work of a prankster, until he finally caught Mita and the man had just come out of the hotel. Arka who does not want to vent her anger on Mita decides not to see her for a few days until her emotions subside.

"I'm sure Mita can't possibly betray our love, she's not that kind of woman, I have to talk to her," muttered Arka then tried to contact Mita but there was no answer because the number Mita arrived suddenly inactive.

Arka repeatedly contacted Mita and sent her a message but still there was no answer and she decided to meet her lover tomorrow morning.

Her morning.

With fear mixed with disappointment Arka ran in a hurry at the airport, he arrived in teriaki because he accidentally hit people. he does not care about his appearance that only uses pajamas and hair that is still random. The drowsiness he felt instantly disappeared when he got word from Reyhan if Mita was going to leave the country and was now at the airport. Arka keeps running to chase Mita, she does not want to lose the woman she loves so much, she no longer cares about Mita's relationship with other men.

"Darling wait!" arka shouted, she ran over to Mita and immediately hugged her.

"Don't leave me" said Arka with a breath of air.

Mita releases Arka's embrace and looks at her inside. "I'm sorry I can't be with you anymore" Mita said.

"Darling don't joke, I'm sorry if something went wrong" Arka said, holding Mita's shoulder.

"I'm serious, and you don't have to apologize because here I'm wrong" Mita said, bowing her head.

"Let's end it" said Mita again.

Mita raised her head "Let's break up, I don't love you anymore, I just realized that I was forced to accept your declaration of love, not because I really love you, not because I really love you, we end this relationship right here, I'm going to go with the man I love, what you saw yesterday was true, I stayed with him at that hotel," mita said while clenching her hands. He was all his might trying to hold back the tightness in his heart.

Arka was silent he was very surprised to hear Mita's words, he did not expect that Mita really had betrayed him.

"Darling ..." Arka holds Mita's hand, she repeatedly shook her head hoping Mita's words are not true.

"Let's go, let's not miss the plane" said a man beside Mita who had watched them.

Mita took off Arka's hand which was still tightly grasping her hand. "You will definitely find a woman better than me, who deserves to be your life partner, not a woman like me" Mita said, leaving her with a man's hand beside her.

"I didn't think you could be that cruel to me" said Arka with tears that had fallen on her cheeks. He did not care about the gazes of people who looked at him strangely, he did not care if he was considered a crybaby man. His feelings were devastated, the woman he loved so deeply had left with a deep wound.

Flashback.

Arka closed her eyes while smiling wryly as she recalled that painful moment. He is crazy about women who never appreciate his feelings.

"Arka Lo must realize, the woman never loved you, she just pity. Remember Lo's purpose in marrying her to avenge the pain she has given you," Arka's inner voice clenched her hand.

After arriving at his office Arka begins to struggle with his work, he does not want to continue to remember his painful past.

It seems his decision to accept the engagement with Clarisa is the right thing, because then he can make Mita feel what she felt at that time.
