The Magic Power System

The Magic Power System
Chapter#50. Philip Morgett. ( Deal. )

“No idea, I didn't ask you to believe.”

Orion sighed and sat back down.

“I hope you're not playing me."

The young man who was an Alchemist shrugged his shoulders and chuckled. “So, what business do you want to see me?”

“Didn't I tell you I need Psyche?” orion replied exasperatedly, he felt this person deliberately carrying the topic of their chat around in circles.

“I mean, what do you need Psyche for?”

He thought for a moment before replying, “I need it to save my wife.”

The man clapped a small hand. “Wow, I didn't expect someone like you to have this kind of romantic nature. Quickly, from the beginning I saw that piece of despair on your face.”

“Really?”

“What do you think I'm bothering to bring you here, to my secluded and secret abode? Who does not know you, Thunder the Head of academia, aka the magician with the highest level of ability, who is so strong and able to finish off demons even once. It turns out that someone as great as you can also have such a pathetic look, you interest me," said the young man again.

“It's not because you're grateful that I saved?” ask Orion cynically.

“Hahaha, that is also true,” said the young man shamelessly. “So, you couldn't possibly not have known that there was a great price to get this potion, right?"

“I can pay anything,” reply Orion sure.

“I also know that money is not a problem for you. But I don't want money.”

Orion straightened his body. He had also heard that these Alchemists sometimes charge unreasonable fees for the demand of their consumers, so it is not uncommon for them to fail to meet it or get the ingredients they want.

The young man seemed to think for a moment. “Ah, I want every month you or the academy to send me complete groceries. You've seen it for yourself, right, it's very inconvenient to go outside just to shop," the young man casually asked.

"You know, if in fact, I'm lazy to have to meet annoying people like them again, it's really troublesome. I don't want to use magic only for lowly people like them, it's just a waste of energy

Orion was quite knowledgeable, for an Alchemist who had the privilege and ability to concoct potions, using magic would be extremely troublesome.

But, that's all?

Did he really only want such a payment?

“What is your face? Does my request sound silly to you?” the shouts don't take it. “And I told you, I'm interested in you. Since I'm in a good mood, I'll give you a cheap price. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, I will not be as generous as this anymore" the young man said.

“I didn't say anything.”

“So, do you agree?”

Orion nodded, it was not a difficult condition.

The Alchemist youth left then took out a bottle of green-colored liquid then took out two small glasses and split the liquid equally.

Orion frowned, “For what is this?”

“This is a potion agreement. You must keep your word after I make your request. Drink it, I'll drink it too.”

Orion received the glass, looking at the liquid with full alertness.

“What will happen if I deny it?”

The young man downed the liquid first and once again raised his shoulder while laughing lightly. “Who knows?”

Tired of his annoying behavior, Orion chose to chug down the liquid in the glass in one gulp rather than respond to the young man. It tastes bitter and hot, like liquor.

His head twirled slightly and his heart beat so fast for a while, after which all the sensations he had just felt suddenly disappeared as if he had not drunk anything.

“Think here, I'll make Psyche tomorrow. I also need your help to make it, because it would be very draining of my energy and time if I did it alone" said the young Alchemist.

“Alright,” Orion would not want to accept the advice. He had not expected his decision to save the plain-faced young man from this kind of sweet-fruited bandit attack.

In his estimation, it would take him around a few more days to find an Alchemist that kept his existence a secret. Who would have thought, this person was in front of him right now.

“May I know, what is your name?”

The young man got up, extended his hand to Orion.

“I'm Philip Morgett, the creator of Psyche.”

Orion accepted the hand department. “It's nice to meet you, Mr. Morgett,"

“Hahaha, Phil alone,” he laughed while embracing Orion's body which despite their height was not much different, was still bigger than him. “It feels good to have a respectful treatment from you.”

Orion was actually still wondering what made this young man willing to help him, as if all the worries he had felt these few days were in vain.

Who knew that it would be this easy to get help from him?

He did not know that Phillip was interested in him because he could see the determination on the man's face, the determination to save his wife; the woman he loved. Thunder had even treated him with respect, weighing how high his pride had been all along.

Phil, feeling his heart being moved for it, and thinking of helping him.

“So, what creature lives in your wife's body?”

“Kids dragon.”

The young man stumbled upon the information coming out of Orion's mouth.

...Seriate...
