The Magic Power System

The Magic Power System
Chapters. 62. Phoenix Presence.

Ana wept bitterly at the reddish marks on the little neck, hugged him and tried to calm him down.

Aidyn who saw this became furious, he could not bear to open his voice. “You also realize, that creature is a monster! He's not your son!”

BLARRR

“AKH!”

Aidyn is suddenly attacked by Drake with his fire power, fortunately the woman still had time to avoid so the wound is not too fatal.

“No! Why did you attack—Ukh?” his words were not finished because Ana first lost consciousness. The little creature put poison into the body of the woman who contained it using her pointed tail.

Then he growled and made the hut collapse.

Ace sent a coordinate point to Felix and Blactone by telepathy, telling him to come here immediately.

All away from the deadly little creature, which is now hovering surrounded by fire with its tiny wings.

The hut was on fire, leaving Ana in ruins.

Orion frantically searched for Ana's body which was hit and took her to a place far enough away from there. He then covered the woman's body with his robe, kissed her forehead and whispered, “I'm sorry, I'll be back later.” Then it passes to join forces with the other witches to fight Drake the cruel dragon.

Many times the others made attacks but none of them were able to make a meaningful impact on him, as if his new birth put him back in top shape.

Moreover, the fireball surrounding it became a hard protector to penetrate.

All sorts of attacks would first turn into smoke or ash before hitting his skin, while the attacks carried out by him inflicted a lot of losses around them.

Orion sees his comrades having trouble confronting the newborn dragon. It was as if they were all just wasting their time and energy in vain.

His legs wanted to step up, advancing to fight as well, but it felt so heavy. His brain ruled to move forward, but his heart was still not strong enough for it. When he was about to take a step forward, his body actually retreated as much as twice.

The fact that Drake was currently using his son's face made him feel heavy-hearted. Orion just can't fight it with this kind of full consciousness.

He intended to unseal the sword of light only to realize that his thumb was still embedded in the dimensional ring that contained the Phoenix Bird.

Orion opens a portal to the ring in hopes that the Phoenix will help them.

PSSHH!

Suddenly, he let out a whistling sound so sharp that Orion reflexed to close his ears.

Ah, apparently he's angry.

"YOU LOCKED ME UP FOR TOO LONG!”

Orion looked down stiffly, as if he felt guilty. “Sorry, I forgot.”

“Hemm. So. Then why are you calling me now? I was asleep, you know?”

“There,” Orion pointed towards a battle that was quite far ahead of them.

“What is that fire covered creature is Drake?”

“True.”

“Then why didn't you join them? Don't tell me you're scared? OUTRAGEOUS. THIS CAN'T BE LEFT. ARE YOU MORE AFRAID OF THAT AMIS MONSTER THAN I AM???”

"She's back again."

Orion clucked in his heart.

“Not so,” Orion exhales tired, even though he has not fought at all. “The creature took the form of my dead son.”

Although known as individualistic creatures, Phoenixes love their families.

The mother Phoenix will usually do everything possible to protect her eggs and cubs, while the males will also guard their territory and eradicate any approaching predators.

So, what Orion had just said just now, was enough to touch the pompous little heart of a Phoenix Bird.

“Is that?”

For some reason his voice at this moment sounded so slow and limp, completely out of character, Orion thought as he nodded.

“Take it easy. This kind-hearted me will help you. In a moment, Drake, the monster who doesn't know himself, I'm gonna make him feel like he doesn't want to be spawning the earth anymore!"
