The Magic Power System

The Magic Power System
Chapters. 71. I'm Back. (The End of Everything. )

“But, we both also made a mistake.” Orion walked towards his wife to hold her hand. “We did not immediately kill the newborn dragon and instead dissolved in emotion because Drake took the form of our dead son.”

Again, everyone who was inside the room could only be dumbfounded. Flyod was no exception, the man did not expect everything to turn out so complicated.

Orion extended his hand to Ana, the woman nodded and received a helping hand. The two of them stood side by side, clasping hands.

“Then from that, I, Orion, as your Chairman, and Anastasya my wife, beg your generosity all to forgive us.”

Ana lowered her head, and Orion bowed her body. They do that for fifteen seconds, causing enough noise that prompts them to wake up.

“Me and Mr. Iron have decided to punish Beatrice for her rotten plan that deliberately aims to resurrect Drake back, as well as her illegal cooperation with a dirty Alchemist using a dangerous potion. The potion was a liquid capable of providing nutrients and life energy to all sorts of spirits that possessed the human body dozens of times over. This is something that is not even allowed by the Official Institution of Magic.”

Beatrice, who had been speechless, finally opened her mouth again.

“Orion! I'm doing this for you! I'm doing this because I love you and the one who should be getting punished right now is that woman! He's the one who's been doing contracts with monsters. He should be executed right now!”

Orion instantly increased his strength on the ball of light until Beatrice was in pain. Even Flyod who saw that felt the pain.

“Enough, Chief, I beg you not to make it even more painful.”

Orion stared at Flyod whose reddened eyes held back tears. He could not help but sympathize with the man.

Her heart was very sincere in love with Beatrice, but the woman was even unhealthyly obsessed with her to this extreme. Looking towards Ace , he then whispered which was immediately approved by him.

Ace takes over Orion's place to open the sound. “After a considerable negotiation, we have established the appropriate punishment to be meted out to Beatrice. Namely, confinement in a special prison for 10 years, and exile after.”

Everyone shut their mouths.

“No way...,” Flyod felt his body limp from top to bottom.

“This decision has been considered very carefully. Waivers are given because of the services that Beatrice has been doing so far. But his sin against those who have lost their eyes, their lives, their possessions and their dwellings cannot be forgiven. The punishment he deserves is execution, but the chairman doesn't allow that.”

Flyod attempted to release the magic that bound both his hands and feet. “I beg you, Mr. Great Alchemist. Let go of me, I won't do anything.”

Philip glanced at Orion who gave his approval then removed the magic spell from the man's body. Once the bond was broken, Flyod immediately lunged forward and rested.

“Chairman, please forgive him. Beatrice is not that bad person. I beg you to grant her a waiver.”

Orion stared at the man prostrating before him without a tremble. “This is a form of leniency and forgiveness that I gave.”

“But the 10-year prison cage and seclusion are too heavy. He will die.”

Tears melted all over Flyod's face until his good looks were no longer visible. Only chaos, frustration, sadness and pain were imprinted on it.

“Then I ask for one more waiver,” he said.

“No bi—”

“Let me accompany him, I beg.”

Felix got up from his seat, as did Aidyn who did not believe Flyod's words.

“Let me accompany him. In any case, I was guilty because I was one of the people who accidentally helped his plan. If we hadn't infiltrated the room where the Chairman's wife was locked up, we wouldn't have known that the Chairman was pregnant with a dragon child. If I could figure out Beatrice's motive early and stop her, none of this would have happened. Please, punish me with him.”

Aidyn covered her mouth with tears, she did not expect the man to have such pure love. All the people who were there also could not help their tears seeing his so sincere love. In fact, it wasn't long before Beatrice was clamoring that she loved their chairman. What a poor man …

Orion was equally surprised. But looking at the man who was truly already on the verge of breaking the threshold, he finally agreed to her request.

“Good. I allow it.”

Ace closed his eyes, speechless to respond to all these things. While Flyod, in contrast to what was about to wait in front of him, even looks brightah. The man repeatedly squealed and thanked both Orion and Ace's feet.

Beatrice, on the other hand, was too shocked to hear it. This he never imagined at all. The plan was to corner Ana into execution, but it attacked her like a boomerang.

Even more so when Flyod insisted on leniency over his sentence, and pleaded with him to accompany him in prison and exile.

In fact, the man did not really have any faults. Instead, he had deliberately set him up many times and also intended to use him. But Fly? The foolish man repeatedly received all his treatment.

Fly repeatedly ignored his cunning. Fly protected him many times.

Fly without stopping to love him.

The woman thought, if from the beginning she stopped chasing after an uncertain love and accepted Fly's sincere feelings for him, would she be happy right now?

Hasn't she dreamed of being loved wholeheartedly? Then why does he blind his eyes when there is a man who is very loyal always trying to be the best for him?

Flyod stood up, his hands tied with a special spell.

“With the imposition of imprisonment and exile to Beatrice and Flyod, this trial was officially closed.”

Luna who waited not far from the place where the closed-door trial was held, shut their mouths looking at Beatrice and Flyod who were each being held in different ways.

Felix rushed at them for a second after his eyes caught his favorite Cat Girl.

“Felix, what happened? Why are they both like that?”

The man sighed then told Luna what happened in the courtroom. The cat girl was crying too. He regretted what he had done to Orion.

Felix who realized that even pulled Luna into his arms. “It's okay, you didn't do anything wrong. My female cat is a good boy, right?”

Luna nodded slowly in that embrace.

Right now, Orion was leading Ana to their room. Moisturize it towards the bed, justifying the position of the pillow for the woman to feel comfortable.

“There is something you want to eat?”

Ana smiled gently, shaking her head. Orion clucked and pulled the fruit out of the refrigerator.

“At least eat these fruits,” he said while peeling some apples. She then feeds Ana painstakingly and very gently, making sure the woman chews and swallows her smoothly and then gives her a glass of water afterwards.

“Are you okay?” ask the woman.

“Sure, I'm fine. Why me?" the answer was casual, interspersed with a small laugh at the end.

Ana squeezes Orion's big hand with both hands.

“Baby Crux .. I know you miss it.”

Hearing the name, Orion froze for a few seconds. His head lowered, he answered nothing. A second later, Ana felt her hands wet.

The man who had been standing firmly, ended up crying. The woman took the head of her husband into her arms, caressing him with affection.

Allowing him to vent the emotions that had been hidden all along.

How not because this man is a father who witnessed the tragic death of his own son.

“Don't worry, he must have calmed down up there. Our son is a great kid, isn't he?”

Ana wiped away the tears from her husband's handsome face while smiling gently. Orion who saw it could not withstand the heat from both of his eyeballs so he could not stop crying.

That face, that face was the face she missed so much. It was the face that Ana always showed her when the two of them were still living peacefully as ordinary humans.

In the end, after all the things that had happened, his wife had returned to his embrace. The two of them are back together again. After which, Orion felt his forehead being warmly let out.

“I'm home,” whispered Aja softly.

Orion, after a long time, finally smiled again.

“Thank you for coming back.”
