Warning to the servants

Lu Xiang was already aware of the behavior of his servants who were always sheltering behind Adelia when trouble occurred. The events of two days ago may have first happened and they have not been able to do properly because they do not know how their master's personality is.

Lu Xiang chuckled softly. "Let's have lunch, I'm hungry".

"All right, let's go home. Lu Cheng are you crying?" Adelia noticed Lu Cheng's eyes were reddened.

"No! Who said I was crying, my eyes were in the dust" Lu Cheng turned his face red from being caught off guard by his sister-in-law.

"really?"

"Yes. You're so noisy. Let's go home". Lu Cheng immediately ran to the house leaving Adelia and Lu Xiang.

Lu Lian looked at Lu Xiang who was smiling gently at Adelia then resumed her work expressionlessly.

Later that night Lu Xiang gathered the servants behind the shop after giving Lu Cheng a message to neglect Adelia so as not to leave the room.

He sat on a long chair and propped up his chin looking at the servants standing in line, not caring even though Lu Feng was a child. His sharp and cold gaze made the servants realize that their master was angry.

Long Lu Xiang stared coldly one by one the seven maids before saying. "Why? Did Adelia treat you so well that you forgot how to get on your knees?".

The low baritone voice sounded terrifying in the ears until it made the seven maids kneel in unison. "We ask for mercy sir".

"Please ask for forgiveness for what?".

Lu Xiang snorted cynically. "What is the first rule of a slave?".

The seven maids were stunned then Lu Niang replied fearfully. "A slave must call himself a servant".

"Second rule?"

Their bodies began to tremble, the young Lu Feng even cried as he pleased, not daring to make a loud noise. "A slave must be obedient and loyal to their master".

Lu Xiang's gaze grew increasingly cold. "And the third rule?".

"Se-se-a slave must protect their master"

Lu Xiang was silent as he stared with the same gaze still waiting for the continuation of the words from Lu Fang and Lu Cai.

"Wa-although a slave had to lose his life to protect their master" Lu Lian hugged her crying sister quivering.

"I'm glad you remember the rules for your status. But did you guys follow those rules?!" Lu Xiang kicked the dishwasher and raised his voice.
