Airin woke up alone. What else should Airin expect when he first opens his eyes? Wishing to see someone lying next to him? Or do you wish there was a big hand wrapped around his stomach? For now, that sounds impossible.
A pale morning light barged in through the curtains and highlighted the slightly tangled sheets. He lay there without a sound, then his right hand raised to hold a twitching temple, Airin rose to rest on one elbow. He sat down on the heardboad. And his head was getting heavy, but this morning Airin had to do something as usual. Working properly, it is the only way that he does not always get the remorse of people.
“Rin, already awake?”
Airin raised his gaze when the door opened with a melodious voice that Airin always heard every morning.
Nana's mother came in and sat on the bed. “Mother make tea anget for you.”
“Still, Mom." Airin welcomes the cup of tea you bring. Breathe in the scent before you touch it. And the dizziness on Airin's head subsided a little.
“You sick, Rin?" mother asked as her eyes fell on Airin's slightly pale lips. Airin shakes her head while carving a smile. “Ng—no, Mom. Airin was feeling good," she said a little nervously. Because to this day Airin has not told Mother if in her stomach there is another life.
And Airin doesn't know how to convey it. Airin was afraid that I would be disappointed and angry.
“Ya, already. You work today?”
Airin nodded his head again. And I smiled as I cupped the side of Airin's face.
“Rin...” Ibu Nana was already at the doorway when her voice returned Airin heard. The woman then raised her gaze again. This time, I made her bed. “Why, Mom?”
“Where are you the same Nak Gery?”
Of course, his mother's question invited a squeak on Airin's forehead while holding one side of the blanket he would fold. “Mothers Means .., how is it?”
“Mother look you two are a good fit.”
There was an unusual stab in Airin's heart when he heard a line of words coming out of his mouth.
Airin could not deny, on the first night he met Gery, then the guy helped him, there was an unusual taste that Airin felt. His gray eyes were so hypnotic. His face is like a Greek god. Honestly, Airin admired that figure so much. How Gery fights and his intimidating voice. Airin likes that. And there was a feeling Airin had. But, that's not possible.
And forever will never be possible.
Airin continued to fold the blanket. Walk a little to get a towel. Up to the doorstep the woman touched the mother's shoulder gently. “Pak Gery is married, Mom,” Airin said as he passed. Don't forget the smile he gave to Mom.
“Masa, anyway, Rin?" Mother followed Airin who walked towards the bathroom. Then Airin opened the door. “Iya, Mum.”
Can Airin see Mom's face changed. His eyes were disappointed.
“Airin shower first, yes,” she said while closing the bathroom door. Only then did his chest feel squeezed and his throat was blocked by an invisible lump. Airin pityed himself through the mirror.
Up ahead, he looks real. The deathly pale face clearly described that Airin had been fooled by his feelings.
For God's sake! He must not go deeper into the trap of kindness of a man whose face is like a Greek God.
Airin sat on the closet with a pushy look. His hand touched the stomach while contemplating the fate of himself and the fetus in his womb. How will his life be?
How will the view of people against him that they initially thought Airin was bad, and maybe now will look worse when they see his stomach getting bigger later.
“What should I do?” lirih Airin who was secretly crying.

Today Bandung is quite dim. The clouds were having fun, making the people who were breathing underneath so eager to laze around. If possible, they prefer to be under the covers rather than having to do the routine they do every day.
Even with Ghea who was still sitting next to Papa's bed. Closing Al-qur’an, then kissing it. He had just finished reading the meaningful scriptures before the door of the ICU room opened from the outside. Alvin came in, followed by two other nurses behind him.
“Ghe,” call Alvin when it's close to Papa's bed. The guy smiled, “You check the condition of Mr. Jordan first, yes.”
Ghea got up from her seat to make room for Alvin and the other two nurses. After that, Ghea saw Alvin who checked all the tools attached to Papa's body and then one nurse between the two noted what Alvin had said. And unfortunately all the sentences that came out of Alvin's mouth could not understand Ghea.
“Where, Vin, Papa's condition?” ghea asked after the two nurses came out of the ICU and left Alvin and Ghea who was still there.
“For now, anyway, the heartbeat and oxygen are still arguably normal. But—“
“But what, Vin?" as soon as Alvin would say, so soon Ghea interjected. It's been said before no, if Ghea doesn't want something bad to happen to Papa's condition. His tense face along with all the fingers that were clinging to each other nervously in front of his two thighs were docked together.
“Blood of Mr. Jordan is still unstable and getting down, Ghe.” By being forced as a doctor Alvin must say the patient's condition is good or bad. Because that's what needs to be done.
Both of Ghea's shoulders slumped. Limply. Not knowing what else Ghea should say in do’nya so that Papa's condition can be stable again. Immediately.
“Lo patient, yes, Ghe. Don't think too much negative! We'll try our best to make Papa lo.” While saying so, the man's hand was over Ghea's shoulder with one hand sinking in his white coat pocket.
Nod Ghea head while both hands folded on the stomach. “Thank’s, Vin," he said while carving a smile.
“Gue should check other patients first, Ghe. Lo mending rest, pity also baby lo, right. You can't sleep all night.”
Ghea frowned while rewinding her head faintly. “Kok lo can know?” Ghea chuckled lazily. “Don't let you peek at me again.”
Alvin laughs. “Pede really, hell.” Then the boy's index finger pointed at Ghea's face. “Tuh look, lo kek panda eyes. Where under the eyes you swollen again.”
Ghea's reflexes touched both of her eyes. “Surely ugly I.”
“Not ugly anymore. Mr. Gery if you look at the eyes of the kek lo it would be blurred. Compress by using anget towel!” alvin's suggestion while passing along with a small laugh and a cute head bobble. However, when the man arrived at the doorway that had opened, he turned back. “Ghe,” call him slowly.
Ghea. “Ya?”
“Lo has breakfast?”
“Not yet... Eum .. but, Mama was back home first to take a change of clothes. Bi May is cooking, he said. Maybe another clash here,” said Ghea feels clumsy. Without him realizing his hand scratched the temple which of course did not feel itchy.
Nod Alvin his head. Without saying another word, the boy closed the door of the ICU room. Passing in front of Ghea.
Ah, by the way, when Alvin spoke ‘Pak Gery’ Ghea so missed her husband. How's things? Can he eat alone without Ghea? Sleeping alone and preparing his own work clothes after a long time Ghea who always did his needs, and only this time also they
far away like this.
Ghea turned the heel. Walk towards the nightstand and pick up the phone in the bag. Ghea sighed in frustration. From Ghea in the ICU to look after Papa, she forgot to tell her husband. And now, as Ghea came out of the room dominated by the sounds of those terrible-sounding tools, her phone could not light up. Ghea went back into the ICU room, ransacked her bag and damn, the thing she was looking for wasn't there. “Jeez, why can't you forget to bring a charger, anyway?” His breath was full of pressure.
