"Ar, are you here ?" Daniel immediately greeted the friend when his best friend came to his office.

"I'm looking for Sofia." said Aril to the point.

"Sophia? didn't he go to your office ?" Daniel seemed to frown not understanding considering that Sofia said if she would meet the man after he told her everything.

"To my office? but Sofia's not in the office. Did he say anything to you ?" Aril seems curious because his best friend must know something about the girl.

"I told you everything about the scholarship you gave Sofia....."

"Is he angry because of that ?" sela Aril's.

"I think he's having another problem Ar, but I don't know what. I saw him so desperate but reluctant to tell the story." Daniel explained, who was also frustrated.

Aril looks rough rubbing his face. "Didn't he say where he was going ?" said later.

Daniel shook his head. "He just said he'd meet you at the office." he said.

"Alright Dan, I have to go check it out." Aril seemed to pat his best friend's shoulder then immediately passed away from there.

"Ar, Helena's back, do you know ?" said Daniel to stop Aril's steps, then the man turned to look at him.

"Our relationship is long over, if you forget that" he said firmly and then walked away.

"But you used to love her so much, Ar. Is that because of Sofia ?" daniel muttered as he saw the man's departure.

A few moments later Aril returned to his office, but he did not find Sofia there. Even the cctv screen did not show the presence of the girl even though it was just outside her office.

"Where are you going Sofia ?" he said with frustration.

Meanwhile, Sofia, who still feels in the taxi, seems to widen her eyes when the taxi that took her did not pass the destination address.

"Sir, this is not the path I'm on." she protested later.

Sofia, who had been lamenting her grief, did not realize that the taxi driver had taken her in another direction.

"Already, lady, you better come with me. There you can have fun, a girl as beautiful as you do not deserve to be sad continue." said the driver while chuckling.

"No, I don't want to. Now get me out of here !!" reject Sofia with a slight shout, yet it seems like a joke in the man's ears.

"You're a little wild, my friends are gonna love that" he said with a loud laugh.

Feeling that her life was in danger, Sofia immediately moved from her seat and grabbed the wheel of the man. "Let me down, otherwise we will die together and I think you will go straight to hell right then and there." he shouted as he scrambled for the wheel in front of him.

"Hey lady what are you doing ?" the driver immediately panicked when his car rolled around because of the actions of the girl.

"Look it looks like there's a bridge ahead and I think we're going to fall." said Sofia scared and it made the driver appear to swallow his saliva then immediately stepped on the brakes firmly until his car immediately stopped right in front of the bridge barrier.

"Damn, come out mad girl you almost made my life float !!" order the man with a deathly pale face.

While Sofia seemed to smile cynically looking at him then immediately out of the car. "Hopefully your day is lucky !!" he shouted while kicking the car when he was about to leave.

"Damn !!" objurgation.

Now Sofia seems to be sitting on the bridge barrier and not knowing where she is now, hopefully there are good people she can ride.

After almost an hour waiting for the car to pass suddenly there was a vehicle that stopped not far from him. "Sofia, what are you doing here ?" the man shouted as he opened the windshield.

Then the man got out of his car. "What are you doing here, Sofia? shouldn't you be in the office right now ?" tanyanya while paying attention to the appearance of the girl in front of him, just wearing a shabby hoody and jeans attached to his body.

Then his gaze turned to the large backpack that was on his side. "You seem to want to go far" he added.

"Hm, I wanted to go but the taxi driver brought me here and I don't know where I am at the moment" Sofia said.

"Go? what really happened Sofia? I know we're new to it but I don't care if you want a story, who knows I can help you" Adams later said.

Sofia looked fixedly at the man before her, looking sincere and she could feel it. "Alright" he said and immediately told everything how the future father-in-law of his CEO had threatened him.

"Jeez Sofia, why don't you tell the CEO he'll definitely protect you ?" timpal Adams with a pity face.

Sofia shook her head as she recalled how the CEO had kissed another woman as he was about to say it all. "I don't want to make matters complicated" he said.

"So where are you going now ?" ask Adam then.

"I don't know, I just want to find a place to take shelter for a while until I get another job." Sofia said, because he does not have a destination and he also does not want to trouble his friends by hitching a ride in their place.

Adams seemed to think for a moment and then reopened his voice. "I have an aunt who lives in the countryside around here Sofia, you can stay there for a while if you want." Adams bargained later.

"Rural ?" rejoice Sofia who seems a little interested, because previously he and his father also live in a remote countryside in the Netherlands.

I don't know what his father's purpose was to ask him to live there, because after he found out more apparently his father was a wealthy businessman in this city.

"Well, I want to" he agreed and that day Adams drove the girl to her aunt's house in a rural village not far from the place.

"I hope you won't tell anyone where I am here" Sofia said after they arrived.

"You take it easy Sofia, oh yeah even though aunt is a little fierce but she's a good woman. Losing her husband and child in an accident a few years ago made her choose to be alone here" Adams said.

"Hmm, thanks for helping me." Sofia was so grateful to know the man.

"Well, I have to go back to Sofia, I have a lot of work to do." Adams said.

After that Sofia went back into the simple house in the middle of the field.

"Do you have a lot of money ?" ask the middle-aged woman who owns the house.

"Money ?" repeat Sofia, then shake her head.

"I only have this, take it" he said after taking the remaining money in his wallet.

"How can you eat if you don't have money ?" say that woman again.

Sofia saw a field that spread so wide in front of her. "I can help you grow potatoes if you want, aunt." he said later.

"You do have to do that because I don't have the money to pay for your meal every day" she said.

"All right, thank you" Sofia said.

"Now rest, tomorrow morning help me uproot all that grass for us to grow potatoes and vegetables" said the woman.

Sofia seemed grateful that there were still good people willing to help her. "Thank you dad, maybe it was thanks to your kindness all along." he muttered that night staring at the star in the beautiful sky above.
