The Missing SOFIA

"Sofia, come here with Adams' message for you !!" the aunt shouted while Sofia was in her room.

"Sofia !!" aunty shouted again loudly when the girl did not come.

"Yes Bi I'm coming." Sofia who seemed to have just finished cleaning herself seemed to be walking in a hurry, she had just helped the woman clean her house that was very dirty.

Since the death of her husband and child, the woman never took care of her house and left it in a mess so that Sofia was always afraid every time she wanted to sleep because of the many rats that roamed there.

"What did aunt call me ?" said again.

"There's a message from Adams for you, don't you have a cell phone ?" asked the woman and Sofia immediately shook her head.

He had sold his phone before coming here until now not having anything of value.

"Adams said she couldn't come here because her movements were being monitored" the aunt explained, making Sofia look surprised.

"Observed ?" he murmured, was it his former CEO who was watching him. Hopefully the man is not in danger considering how his efforts in protecting him even to be willing to risk his friendship.

"Did you commit a crime to hide here ?" said Auntie probing.

Sofia nodded back. "That's not true Bi." he said convincingly.

"Hopefully your words can be trusted, I don't want you to take advantage of Adams' kindness and end up harming him. If that happens then I will kick you out of here, understand !!" firmly Aunt and that made Sofia instantly nod small.

"That's not going to happen, Bi" he said later.

"Oh yeah, are your hands healed? there is still a lot of grass that has not been removed, do we not have to plant immediately before winter arrives? otherwise we'll starve to death" said the woman again, somehow Sofia felt more and more the woman did not like it.

"I will immediately pull it Bi" he said later, then immediately passed to his yard no matter the hot sun was stinging.

His stomach also felt very sore, because from now on he only drank water. Actually he wanted to return to the city but he was confused where to stay because the cost of renting a house was quite expensive.

Finding a job is also quite difficult with his low education. "May I be strong, father" he said, immediately wearing gloves to cover the bandages in his hands and began to pull out the grass that was still half the yard.

Elsewhere, James appears to be in his office. Last night the man didn't come home because he didn't want his wife to see how things were going wrong.

"Darling, are you okay ?" anne said as she entered her husband's room, her forehead frowning slightly at the appearance of the man who was very messy.

His shirt was still the same as the one he wore yesterday, his hair seemed disheveled and smelled a pungent smell of alcohol from his body.

"You drunk ?" ask her with an incredulous face.

"No, I was just drinking a little bit." said James who seemed wrong, he did not expect his wife would come to his office.

Even though last night he reasoned that he was doing a lot of work on the woman so that he could not go home considering the distance from his office and home was quite far.

"Dear tell me what's going on, you don't usually like this? did you drink with someone last night ?" Anne, who did not expect her husband to return to alcohol after years of stopping looking at the man, immediately checked every corner of the room there.

"You can't get drunk all of a sudden if nobody's with you, tell me who he is? did that man also bring a woman into this room ?" lick Anne again, even though her husband is old but there are still many women out there who try to tease her.

"Darling, stop. I can't do that." James immediately pulled the hand of his wife until now they look facing each other.

"I've been drinking alone here all night, you can check the CCTV if you don't believe me and there's something important that I want to talk to you about" she explained later.

"What ?" timpal Anne who seemed to still be upset with the man.

"Sit down first !!" James immediately took his wife to sit on the sofa in his room.

"What's so important? does this have anything to do with you drinking a lot last night ?" Anne suddenly looked suspiciously at her husband, because not usually the man was drunk despite severe work problems though.

Her husband has promised to always live healthy and maintain his body fitness so that he can accompany her to old age.

"Tell me what's important about you not coming home last night and ending up like this, you're not impregnating a woman and she's asking you to take responsibility ?" accused Anne who was impatient to see her husband open her lips, because the man seemed to think hard before speaking and that made her suspicious.

"Geez, baby, I might do that." James looks upset when accused of various things by his wife.

"Then what ?" Anne slightly lowered her voice, her face visibly relieved when the man did not do the thing she was accused of. This must be because he often watched the drama until his suspicions carried over to real life.

"Open up !!" Marco appears to have given the woman an album belonging to his daughter Sofia.

"This what ?" he said and opened it immediately.

"Jeslin ?" he said again with a surprised face when he saw the photos of his daughter named Marco.

"Ja-so is it true our daughter was brought in by Marco ?" he added again after opening page after page of the photo album.

From her young daughter to growing up a teenager seems neatly arranged there and suddenly Anne's eyes widen when she sees the last page where a photo of a girl with Marco appears.

"This girl ?" he said then re-opened another page to match the resemblance of his face.

"Ja-so she's our dear daughter? he's Jeslin. The girl we met a few times was our daughter ?" he said it and immediately he remembered how the treatment of the friend who had hurt his daughter.

"No, how could I not recognize him. Margaret had hurt her so much and I was silent at the time. My dear Jeslin forgive mama, son." Anne seemed to blame herself, her tears began to flow profusely over her cheeks.

"Darling where is that girl right now? please bring her to me." beg Anne later.

"Of course, of course I'll bring it for you baby. I'm sorry I couldn't protect him." James said, hugging his wife and again without them knowing Jessica was standing in the doorway.

The girl who previously asked the father to start helping him in the company seemed to come but it was another sight that he got.

He should be happy because his brother has been found and his match with Aril will be void, but he is suddenly sad. What if they would love her older sister more than she did and her tears began to fill her veins.

Not wanting his parents to see him, he closed the door again and quickly walked away from there.
